We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and absolutely loved that the owners thought of every single detail to make our stay special and comfortable!! We had never seen such attention to detail in a rental and they spared no expense in the kitchenware, linens, decor and supplies — even down to providing makeup towels, individual ice cream containers, and all s’mores supplies! The hike on the property to the top was beautiful and the views incredible! Such seclusion and peacefulness all around! Loved the fire pits areas and screened in porch as well. We truly had a wonderful time and can’t wait to come back!!!

This cabin was wonderful! Great hike on property to top of mountain with beautiful hidden gazebo and fire pit area, but a climb! Place was fully equipped for cooking with little extra snacks and staples to welcome you. Great firepit out back and close to many waterfalls, hikes and of course Highlands. A gem of a place!

High-style cabin for a perfect mountain trip. Concierge-level appointments and service. Cabin has been completely renovated top to bottom with all the modern appliances yet with a touch of antiques. We enjoyed the s'mores by the firepit and the beautiful grounds. Nature views out every window and fantastic screened porch off the bedroom. High-end linens and towels and comfy bed. A great weekend in the mountains of North Carolina. Selina is a great host and the property looks just like it does in the pictures...GREAT! We enjoyed hiking the trail (pretty steep) on property. The kitchen has everything you need it terms of cooking and there is a gas grill on the deck if you would like to grill. If you want to get away from it all this is a good start. The checkout was very easy, no need to remove garbage or go through of list of check out items. I would highly recommend staying here.

This cabin is top-shelf in all ways. Selena goes above and beyond to make your stay a 5-star experience. The property is so well-maintained. The cabin is beautifully decorated. The welcome book is full of useful info. Selena has it stocked so you can have a little something the first morning before you go to the store. There were juices, sodas, butter, half & half, coffee, sweeteners, even s’more fixins for the fire pit and snacks to take hiking. Do not hesitate to make your reservation at this cabin. The property and the host get a “superb” rating from us.

The cabin is well-designed and very comfortable. Front and rear porches to relax. A very peaceful setting. The hosts have given alot of thought to ensure you have a memorable stay. The grounds/setting are gorgeous. The hosts, Selina and John are great; they have definitely created a wonderful place.

The cabin was immaculate and well appointed with top notch furnishings. Everything you need for a home away from home getaway is supplied. Property and grounds were breathtaking. I didn’t want to leave. The hike to the top of the mountain is well worth it. The view is spectacular! Had s'mores at the fire pit and grilled out each night. Rented a boat on the lake and saw all the waterfalls.We walked the 3.5 mile loop recommend in the welcome book and enjoyed it so much!! This is the best VRBO we’ve rented and we will return.Thanks for a memorable experience!!

What a sweet gem. Our favorite cabin so far. Super clean, beautifully decorated and the bed was so comfortable. Selina went above and beyond making sure we had everything we may need or want. Loved the screened room in the back. So relaxing. We enjoyed the hike up to the Rich Hollow Lodge on the property, beautiful views up there.

This place is absolutely spectacular. The pictures don’t do it any justice. Super clean inside and out. It’s the perfect place to stay for a getaway. If I could rate it higher I would. The host was super helpful and very easy to communicate with. We will definitely be making this our regular place to stay.

Beautiful property 30 minutes away from campus. This one-bedroom cabin is convenient to campus, but also a great get-away. The host has thought of every detail- most importantly, the s’mores fixin’s and fire pit supplies. Beautifully updated and fully provisioned. Immaculately clean. Can’t-recommend strongly enough!

Beatutiful, manicured private setting with flowering shrubs and hummingbirds flying by. Interior was immaculate and tastefully done, perfect for a couples getaway! The owners were very nice and it is obvious that they want you to have a great time. They provided drinks and smores fixings along with other staples in the kitchen. We will definitely return!!

We wanted someplace that was remote, offered outdoor space, had a full equipped kitchen for cooking meals. We were so surprised by all the extra touches that Selina and John added to this property. Everything you needed to have a bonfire, including smores supplies, variety of drinks in the fridge, super comfy bed, direct TV, not to mention the amazing hike on the property. The property was immaculate, super clean, with very nice furnishings. It was truly the most perfect getaway for relaxation.

This is one of those places I would selfishly like to keep secret but that would be unfair. This is a lovely little cottage. The hosts are very welcoming. Feels wonderful from the second you walk in the door. Selina does an excellent job of sharing information about the surrounding area. I really wish I could have enjoyed the cute screened porch, but an early cold snap prevented that. But we were nice and snug inside.

This was the loveliest home away from home we’ve ever encountered while traveling. It was cozy and beautifully decorated. The kitchen has everything you could hope for. Selina & John are welcoming wonderful hosts. Our Scottish terrier Skye loved the manicured grounds and places to run. We definitely hope to return one day soon.

We loved our stay here! The cottage and surrounding property are gorgeous. The interior was cozy and very elegantly furnished, with everything you could possibly need provided. A wonderful place for a romantic getaway. Definitely 5 star quality!

This is a special place. Such a private and relaxing property, we didn’t want to leave. The cabin and surrounding landscape are just beautiful and very well maintained. Everything is thoughtfully appointed. It is obvious that the owners took great care designing the cabin. So many special touches and amenities to enjoy. Great shower pressure, comfy bed with luxury linens. Sipping coffee on the lovely screened in porch in the morning to the firepit and smores in the evening. The onsite hike to amazing views was awesome. The hosts were very responsive and helpful in suggesting local restaurants and points of interest. We were very satisfied with their recommendations.

My wife likes staying places that are beautifully finished out and this cabin fit the bill perfectly. Everything was perfect from the cozy, well-appointed interior to the large, beautiful & private piece of property that the cabin sits on. We will definitely be back!

A most charming and beautifully decorated cottage with all the necessities you would ever need. The kitchen was well stocked with many complimentary items including everything needed in making s'mores in the outdoor firepit. The screened in porch is ideal for enjoying morning coffee or reading. The grounds are beautifully maintained and the interior is elegantly decorated. It is conveniently located near Highlands and Cashiers. Selena has exceeded all expectations as a wonderful host! We are looking forward to returning again!

Selina was a great communicator who gave great directions and awesome recommendations. The entire property is even better in person than it looks like online. The cabin is well decorated and super cozy. Unfortunately we did not get to use the fire pit, but it was adorable. Selina had even put fatwood and a lighter in a bucket next to the firewood. She had also supplied smore items and little snacks. The hike on the property is steep, but worth the view at the top! Selina's attention to detail was so appreciated, She literally thoght of everything you might need! while at their cabin. The location is also convenient between both Highlands and Cashiers. You won't regret your stay here!

We couldn’t have been more impressed and satisfied with our stay in Cullowhee. Our hostess, Selina, went above and beyond what any client would expect. Her attention to detail in every regard was superior. The smallest details were considered and most appreciated. The property was so finely manicured, we were amazed. Freshly cut roses in the bathroom, finest towels I have ever used, snacks and s’mores for the outdoor fire. Selina was incredibly helpful and responsive on all matters. I don’t think you could find a better hostess. The cabin was PERFECT for an adult couple getaway. So peaceful, so tranquil, and so beautifully located in the Blue Ridge mountains. Selina literally thought of everything, even those we may have overlooked. Soft music and decor greeted us upon our arrival. Highly recommend this property.

Her attention to detail in every regard was superior. The smallest details were considered and most appreciated. The property was so finely manicured, we were amazed. Freshly cut roses in the bathroom, finest towels I have ever used, snacks and s’mores for the outdoor fire. Selina was incredibly helpful and responsive on all matters. I don’t think you could find a better hostess. The cabin was PERFECT for an adult couple getaway. So peaceful, so tranquil, and so beautifully located in the Blue Ridge mountains. Selina literally thought of everything, even those we may have overlooked. Soft music and decor greeted us upon our arrival. Highly recommend this property.

I booked this home away from home for an anniversary get away, and what a spectacular find. We enjoyed the privacy but also the accessibility of the location. The cabin is so well appointed and the host went above and beyond with stocking all the household goods to make this place super welcoming. The sounds of nature in the evening are quite soothing, and the fire pit as well as screened porch provided a comfortable area to enjoy them. Selina was so nice and helpful before our arrival, I knew we would want to stay longer, and of course we did. I’m very much looking forward to another stay at this wonderful jewel.

High-style cabin for a perfect mountain trip. Concierge-level appointments and service. Cabin has been completely renovated top to bottom with all the modern appliances yet with a touch of antiques. Selina was a great communicator who gave great directions and awesome recommendations. The entire property is even better in person than it looks like online. The cabin is well decorated and super cozy. Unfortunately we did not get to use the fire pit, but it was adorable. Selina had even put fatwood and a lighter in a bucket next to the firewood. She had also supplied smore items and little snacks. The hike on the property is steep, but worth the view at the top! A great weekend in the mountains of North Carolina. Selina is a great host and the property looks just like it does in the pictures...GREAT! We enjoyed hiking the trail (pretty steep) on property. The kitchen has everything you need it terms of cooking and there is a gas grill on the deck if you would like to grill. If you want to get away from it all this is a good start. The checkout was very easy, no need to remove garbage or go through of list of check out items. I would highly recommend staying here.

The welcome book is full of useful info. Selena has it stocked so you can have a little something the first morning before you go to the store. There were juices, sodas, butter, half & half, coffee, sweeteners, even s’more fixins for the fire pit and snacks to take hiking. Do not hesitate to make your reservation at this cabin. I would give 6 star rating if I could. This place it the absolute best in the area. Host is attentive and has the unit in pristine condition for the arrival of the guest. No cost spared in furnishing and equipping this unit. Fluffy towels, great shower, and amazingly comfortable bed. The hike has a finishing view that makes all the hard work walking up there well worth it. Highly recommend!!!

We really needed to unplug and this was the place! The home and property are absolutely beautiful. Selina & John have definitely gone the extra mile to make their guests very comfortable. Super close proximity to the lake - and just a short drive into Cashiers. Morning coffee on the screened in porch was Heaven! We enjoyed a camp fire on our last night, and wished we had done it every night - where can you be outside for a couple hours from twilight to well past dark, where you aren't chewed up by mosquitos, or other no-see-ums? We never got bit once in over 2 hours! The hike up the mountain was a workout, but very much worth it - fantastic views and plenty of space to enjoy a toast to celebrate the accomplishment. I can imagine how breathtaking the views must be in the fall. Thank you for a refreshing week!

My wife and I were so happy we selected this property. It exceeded every expectation we had. The property had everything you need in the way of supplies, All we needed were a few groceries. This place is conveniently located near Cashiers and Highlands. Lake Glenville is very close to the property. The property grounds are just beautiful. Our host was fabulous!! We hope to be able to come back to this property again. Highly recommended.

Loved the house and all the little extra amenities added to make us feel like special guests! All the decor was beautiful. Hike on property was nice, enjoyed s’mores at the fire pit. It is far from highlands but that was noted when I booked. Only complaint would be us Floridians aren’t experienced on these snaky roads as everyone passed us by! lol wonderful place to enjoy a weekend getaway! Thanks for sharing!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and absolutely loved that the owners thought of every single detail to make our stay special and comfortable!! We had never seen such attention to detail in a rental and they spared no expense in the kitchenware, linens, decor and supplies — even down to providing makeup towels, individual ice cream containers, and all s’mores supplies! The hike on the property to the top was beautiful and the views incredible! Such seclusion and peacefulness all around! Loved the fire pits areas and screened in porch as well. We truly had a wonderful time and can’t wait to come back!!!

This was the loveliest home away from home we’ve ever encountered while traveling. It was cozy and beautifully decorated. The kitchen has everything you could hope for. Selina & John are welcoming wonderful hosts. Our Scottish terrier Skye loved the manicured grounds and places to run. We definitely hope to return one day soon.

Neat, clean, comfortable and nicely decorated, perfect spot for a couple. Selina was most attentive and helpful with directions and recommendations. The kitchen was well supplied, and we cooked in each night. The fridge was stocked with juices and mixers, and the ice balls were great for old fashioneds. We made the hike to the top, and we had lunch with a wonderful view. Enjoyed smores at the fire pit. Had a great stay and hope we can return.

We had a wonderful visit to this area and cabin. Selina went out of her way to provide snacks and toiletries and you really want for nothing. We stayed a week and went to all the area towns and lakes and waterfalls and our dog had a great time hiking with us The cabin is just as portrayed in the pictures and Selina is always quick to respond if you have any questions or need anything. Make sure to check out Glenville lake— it’s gorgeous There’s a wonderful fire pit, that has wood supplied, we didn’t get to use it. We were afraid of the dry conditions and leaves blowing to risk it I absolutely adored the screened in porch. I spent a good bit of time just relaxing out there We timed it just right to view the beautiful fall colors of the leaves changing and even went for a short trip on the Blue Ridge parkway for spectacular views We enjoyed our stay and would love to return in the future.

The cabin was immaculate and well appointed with top notch furnishings. Everything you need for a home away from home getaway is supplied. Property and grounds were breathtaking. I didn’t want to leave. The hike to the top of the mountain is well worth it. The view is spectacular! Had s'mores at the fire pit and grilled out each night. Rented a boat on the lake and saw all the waterfalls.We walked the 3.5 mile loop recommend in the welcome book and enjoyed it so much!! The cabin was immaculate and well appointed with top notch furnishings. Everything you need for a home away from home getaway is supplied. Property and grounds were breathtaking. I didn’t want to leave. The hike to the top of the mountain is well worth it. The view is spectacular! Had s'mores at the fire pit and grilled out each night. Rented a boat on the lake and saw all the waterfalls.We walked the 3.5 mile loop recommend in the welcome book and enjoyed it so much!! This is the best VRBO we’ve rented and we will return.Thanks for a memorable experience!!

We had a great time at this lovely cabin. It was pristine and so well appointed. The hosts were very friendly and responsive. Such a beautiful location to get away for a few days and enjoy the mountains and Lake Glenville.

The host was great, the cabin was clean and had everything we needed. We took the hike on the property, its extremely steep but was worth the climb. The only thing that would make this cabin better would be a hot tub and better mountain views from the cabin.

We had a lovely time staying here! The property is beautiful and was in a great location for local hiking trails and access to lake Glenville. The hike on the property was a nice addition with a wonderful view of the mountains and plenty of birdwatching. The communication with the hosts was 10/10, they were very responsive and checked in on us during our stay. We would absolutely stay here again if we are back in the area.

Our stay at this cabin is wonderful. It has everything one would ever want, the location is great, and the host is wonderful.The hiking and property is beautiful. The cabin was perfect for us nice and cozy. Just sit out on the porch and relax. Already looking forward to our return to this perfect couples getaway!
