Unfortunately, this property has gone downhill since last year. Lots of dogs. Children running the halls in the middle of the night. No maintenance on cosmetic issues (wallpaper coming off the wall). No longer a curfew on the patio (we got to party unwillingly until after 3am). Two kids asked at the desk about equipment for the pool table, table tennis and foosball - all had been stolen.

It was hard to find as the sign seems to share many other businesses. The pool area was kinda in disrepair which was disappointing. Hot tub out of order, i was looking forward to it. No room signage for amenities or map of how to get ice etc. More info in room would be nice. Many tv channels didnt work.

Loved the cheap price for a large quite room. It was generally clean, however our nonsmoking room smelled like previous guests did not respect the nonsmoking rule, the wall next to the oven had a large burn mark, a few lights had burnt out bulbs, and the bathroom walls/door weren't the cleanest. But overall they had what we needed for a very fair price

At our arrival there was no one at the desk at check in, with just a sign on the desk that said back in 10 mins, it took 15! I could see the paper with my name and info on it and my room key just sitting at the counter unattended. When we did get checked in, I came out to ask a question and the Staff were too busy talking amongst themselves to give me the time of day, so I went and found what I needed myself. Place had hand drawn/ colored signage for staff and customers. Looked horrific. The equipment was in disrepair, pool was closed and hot tub. No wall repairs/ touch ups done on wall paper or paint, shower head didnt work well at all. The light switches where damaged, lamps with damage or no light bulbs in them, no room signs with info on amenities or places to go eat. No coffee anywhere, the hand made sign in the lobby stated that the water pump was broken, 1 small ice machine in the lobby on a small counter next to the broken coffee maker, and juice dispenser that was not usable either. People were literally living there like permanenly, with there pets and with there personal mail on the floor at there doors. Felt unsafe with all the random people hanging out all over, with dogs every where. They need to do some up keep. It has potential. But someone is neglecting it. Very sad as we were there last year and it was very nice and quant. Very disappointed in this place. We wont be back. Worth spending a little more for a nicer kept place.

Spa was closed, juice machines were not working and the WiFi was down. Staff was very Friendly and helpful. Overall, the room was good for the price. If you can fix the WiFi & keep the machines working then it would be a great place to stay.

This place is a DUMP. Its a welfare flophouse. The room smelled like stale fried chicken and catfish. The hallways reeked of smoke. There were cockroaches on the walls and strangers knocking on our door looking for drugs.

I would not recommend this hotel. It reeked of smoke and offers extended stay at a discount price. It was dirty, smelly, and overall unpleasant. The outside smells like marijuana and the rooms and halls smelled like smoke. There was a greasy film on everything, including the dishes. There was a sign in the room about urine and towels, which made me not use the shower. We stayed because it was on our way to our honeymoon and had availability. I would recommend driving until you find another place.

The room needed so many updates. It was in poor condition and dirty. Smelled like cigarettes in the room, and bedding. There was blood splatters on the walls, peeling wallpaper, toilet rocked once sat on. It was noisy, room next door had dog that barked at all hours. I will not stay here again.

Check in was very easy and the woman behind the desk was very friendly. Upon entering our room not so much. Blood stains on the floor supposed to be in efficiency apartment type set up no utensils no hand towels. In desperate need of an upgrade.

This has become my favorite hotel to stay in over the last year. The rooms are like a 1 br apt. With a living room and a bedroom. Both with 42 inch tvs with at least 75 channels. Also there are luxurious studio suites with jacuzzi tubs. All of the rooms have a 3/4 refrigerator, dishwasher, 4 burner stove with ovens. The floors are carpeted. Beautiful views from the windows. Especially from the upper floors. The area is peaceful. There’s lots of stores and restaurants nearby in walking distance. Even more in driving distance. I think I sent a review last summer when I stayed here. This time I’m gonna attach the video that I took last year when I was here in the luxurious studio.

I like the size of the rooms offered and that there is a fridge and stovetop available. Cleanliness was better than the past times I’ve stayed. Disappointed that the pool was out of order but it happens. One thing that bothered me was that it can be a hassle to get fresh towels. They take away but don’t replenish them. It also says no smoking but it smelled like some people were breaking that rule. Cleaning out the air vents and filters might help Improve any lingering odor

Noisy neighbors, had to walk to the front desk twice to report and nothing was done. No heat. Found out only next day while checking out the pipes weren't working so whole hotel had no heat. So why are they still taking bookings? Suite looks nice but very deceived.

Smells like POT everywhere inside and outside the hotel. Walls are paper thin Dog barked every time someone was in the hall. Kids running around the halls. Location was nice for what we were there for. Check in was slow. I believe we interrupted the pot break. Numerous other hotels in area look at those. Would not recommend this place.

I am a frequent visitor here whenever I get my Goddaughters. Since 2015 They have done a lot of upgrades and redecorating. It looks great. There is new staff this year and I keep forgetting the young ladies name that always checks me in. She is the BEST always friendly and professional. Also the young lady that was there at 4 pm she went above and beyond helping me and the girls. Your head of housekeeping even helped me with my bags when I was leaving. She didn't have to. Look forward to seeing everyone again soon.

This hotel shares a parking area with other hotels. It is not the safest looking area, and they may have homeless individuals/families in this hotel. Was not impressed with having to put a $150.00 security deposit down for any damages that might occur. Never see it that high. Normally not more than $50.00 Then you have to bring your own garbage and used to towels to the lobby??????

I am here very often with my Goddaughters, since moving my elderly parents into my home. I love the upgrades they have done to the rooms. Unfortunately, there are always people in the front smoking. I hate having to walk through it. I have also had to ask someone if I could use the cart to take my bags to my room because they had it outside using it as a seat. There was new staff and I really did not appreciate having to wait for her to end her personal call to acknowledge that I was even standing there. The bed was nice and comfortable. BUT we went out to eat, I went to ask for a blanket since there was none in the room and was told I had to wait for housekeeping in the morning. Def did not appreciate that either. As I stated I have been coming here for a long time. Seems like staff has become way to relaxed and unprofessional.

Place smelled like smoke/pot upon walk in. They changed my room from 2 king doubles to 1 & a pullout couch, made us go down & get sheets but they had no pillows & blankets. Pullout springs pinched people & no support so pretty much slept on floor. Room: moldy, almost all outlets didn’t work, smelled bad, carpet bumpy & kept tripping, couch stained & arm of it had burn marks, room phone did not work, kitchen equipment was dirty looking and a possible danger to use. We cleaned before using ANYTHING. I was the only driver, it was 2am in a snowstorm, after driving 6+ hours or we would have left. Less than a star. Even more exhausted after cleaning and rushed to get out of there in morning because it was so gross that I forgot to take pictures.

At our arrival there was no one at the desk at check in, with just a sign on the desk that said back in 10 mins, it took 15! I could see the paper with my name and info on it and my room key just sitting at the counter unattended. When we did get checked in, I came out to ask a question and the Staff were too busy talking amongst themselves to give me the time of day, so I went and found what I needed myself. Place had hand drawn/ colored signage for staff and customers. Looked horrific. The equipment was in disrepair, pool was closed and hot tub. No wall repairs/ touch ups done on wall paper or paint, shower head didnt work well at all. The light switches where damaged, lamps with damage or no light bulbs in them, no room signs with info on amenities or places to go eat. No coffee anywhere, the hand made sign in the lobby stated that the water pump was broken, 1 small ice machine in the lobby on a small counter next to the broken coffee maker, and juice dispenser that was not usable either. People were literally living there like permanenly, with there pets and with there personal mail on the floor at there doors. Felt unsafe with all the random people hanging out all over, with dogs every where. They need to do some up keep. It has potential. But someone is neglecting it. Very sad as we were there last year and it was very nice and quant. Very disappointed in this place. We wont be back. Worth spending a little more for a nicer kept place.

I have done a LOT of travelling and this is the first time I ever checked into a hotel and left immediately. First off, the person at the front desk gave us keys to one room. We went to the room, opened the door, and there was a man in there in his underwear. Terrified, we backed out of the room and scrambled to get back into the elevator. We went downstairs to request a new room. The person at the desk was nonchalant and simply said "Hm, nobody should be in there". She gave us keys to another room and omg. It was disgusting. Smelled like urine, black mold on the ceiling, toilet paper holder fell off, tissues stuck in the door stoppers, lipstick kisses on the window, we felt itchy when we sat on the bed, my husband slapped a bug off his leg, there was food in the kitchen sink. What the heck! Pay the extra money and stay elsewhere.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Pipes were frozen which caused the jacuzzi in the room to fail to operate. Hair dryer did not work. Room was clean and smelled fresh. Very close to casino and several dining options. I would stay here again.

The area outside front door felt like a sex -trafficking area with weird people standing outside and just hanging around and smoking. One employee was outside smoking pot constanty and sometimes stared at us as we walked in and out. Across the parking lot was a less-than-desirable motel.

Hotel needs a major upgrade. Furniture/cabinetry was rundown and falling apart. Pictures are very misleading. Had my reservation been refundable, I would have left right after arrival. The area looked sketchy, people hanging around outside at the hotel next door was sketchy, Being told the front doors are locked from midnight to 5am was the icing on the cake. Lobby also smelled funky. If you value safety, I wouldn’t stay here

Smells like POT everywhere inside and outside the hotel. Walls are paper thin Dog barked every time someone was in the hall. Kids running around the halls. Location was nice for what we were there for. Check in was slow. I believe we interrupted the pot break. Numerous other hotels in area look at those. Would not recommend this place.

What I DIDN'T LIKE is the pool was out of service since June come on Since June???? 😡 And NO continental breakfast, ☹️ as it stated on the post that there would be. Why wasnt I notified. Also had to give a deposit which was not mentioned in the advertisement. Other then that the stay was good.

Run down high traffic bad motel if you call it right in front. There is no continental breakfast just coffee and tea. I stayed once before and the rm was really nice but this time I had my grandkids and it was opposite. I had to clean the kitchette. Dishwasher was load with film. I stated I had small children and was out in a rm next to a party that was on the balcony all night right outside bdrm window loud which would b ok bc they didn't know but I don't feel they should have place me and small children next door keep them up. Should have been more accommodating with room placement.

the only thing I was disappointed with was the lack of breakfast, since the site says full breakfast and there were none on the week days. Since I stay in Wilkes barre often and can't really afford to eat out all the time, Breakfast would be nice, something more than just bagels and fruit . and most certainly offering something on the week days as well

Spa was closed, juice machines were not working and the WiFi was down. Staff was very Friendly and helpful. Overall, the room was good for the price. If you can fix the WiFi & keep the machines working then it would be a great place to stay.

No Continental breakfast and as far as coffee goes from 12 noon until 4 AM. There's absolutely no coffee. You need to leave the hotel and go buy coffee. That's sad.

I loved the fact that there was a suite. The room had not been vacuumed and there were small bits of glass on the bedroom carpet. The dishes in the cupboard were also dirty - the fault of the previous occupant. Also disappointed that the breakfast advertised on the website was not available. However, the unlimited Keurig in the morning was most appreciated.

Dun regard extérieur l’hôtel apparaît correct toutefois en rentrant grande surprise, totalement délabré et encombré par de vieux cartons de vieux meubles. Dans la chambre, les draps non même pas étaient changés et encore des serviettes utilisées sur le lit et la salle de bain. Le sol colle, les meubles sont sales ou bancales tout apparaît hors d’usage. Une forte odeur nauséabonde se dégage de la chambre C’est tellement sale nous n’avons même pas pris la peine de rester. Le quartier dans lequel se situe l’hôtel est mal fréquenté, on se sent en insécurité ! Nous ne recommandons certainement pas cet hôtel !

Id suggest booking with another platform too as Hotels.com was no help with reimbursement or any kind of compensation. They approve this property for travelers too. Its a shame.

Not filthy, just not really clean. The shower wasn't terribly clean and the bathroom was covered in black mold. We have stayed here multiple times in the past but this will be our last visit unless something drastic changes. There are other, better options in the area for a comparable price.

Staff was friendly and took care of the check in fast and when we needed extra towels we got them. The place as soon as you walk in smells like marijuana and cigarettes. The staircase to go up the stairs looks like it had not been vacuumed in 10 years. The room was dirty, smelled of marijuana and cigarettes. We had to clean the whole room and disinfect it. Rug was filthy, stained and dirty, never took our socks off. The bed was mush. There were roach killer plastics in the bathroom cabinet. The kitchen fan hood was filthy and the stove knobs were filthy to turn stove on and off. There was a plate, a cup, and a plastic I guess bowl, two small pots that were in really bad condition to use for the kitchen. I always bring my own paper products but what was there was not usable. There was also a big bathtub in the bedroom area. The room at night we had a big compressor outside of our window that rumbled on and off all night. This is not a place for people to travel and stay. The place needs to be cleaned, repainted, and new beds...
