Our family met in Kentucky to share a few laughs and take in the beautiful scenery before school begins. This cabin was perfect for our time together from the multiple lounging spots, hot tub, pool table and beautiful view! Would love to make a trip back next summer! 😎

Beautiful and private, just what we were looking for. Plenty of spaces to entertain. We mostly used the downstairs and hot tub, perfect setting. Even though its by the main entrance to the neighborhood, there was very little traffic and still felt very private. Lovely decor, very comfy beds, and space for kids to not get on each others nerves. Would totally stay here again!

Our stay here was wonderful. The check-in message on the morning of our stay was the best I've recieved from any VRBO property. I love that each sleeping area was on its own floor. Don't seriously expect to play pool. The location of the table makes it very hard to play because the walls are too close. The firepit area was beautiful and the hot tub was relaxing and convenient. There are a lot of steep stairs inside the property bit it was worth it.

Our family loved our time at On The Rocks. Plenty of fishing, hiking nearby trails, hot tub at night, and rocking on the porch. The kitchen had everything we needed and there was plenty of space for the 4 of us to spread out. We also enjoyed winning against our teenager at pool and Mario!

Cabin was very nice, and as described. In perfect shape. Nice outdoor areas (deck, covered porch, campfire). Hot tub was perfect temp and ready to go when we got there. Kitchen was small but workable (no D/W, though). Very convenient location to Natural Bridge State Park, and close (20-minute drive) to Red River Gorge Area trailheads.Host was very responsive and easy to communicate with. A couple of heads-ups:- The stairs from the lower to main level are steep and narrow. Doable, it a bit challenging for this 60 year-old. - Put the earliest riser in your group in the lower level bedroom. The main floor has a few creaky spots (no big deal, just a bit loud first thing in the morning).- The listing said that the cabin is a 3 min walk to Natural Bridge State Park, but apparently that’s just to the park border. I brought my three boys down just for a quick little fall break getaway to explore red river Gorge. The house was perfect, and the pond was more than perfect. My son caught so many fish. The decor cute. The house is clean and is definitely close to all the attractions we wanted to go do.

Our family spent a wonderful week in the RRG area. "On The Rocks" proved to be a great location for us as we spent the week climbing, hiking and rafting. The 3 levels of the house allowed late risers to sleep in while others were able to have access to the kitchen and porch areas. The house was as described in the listing and very clean. We used the hot tub and fire pit areas and enjoyed hearing the birds and frogs from the porches. Thank you for sharing your home, it is an awesome place to stay!

WHAT A BEAUTIFUL CABIN!! I cannot say enough positive things about the personal touches, comfortable beds and living spaces and amenities at the Ryan's cabin. The host was responsive to questions and my family had a wonderful time just hanging out at the cabin in between adventures. The kitchen was fully stocked for cooking meals and had everything we needed for a family of 4. The outdoor spaces were well maintained which made stargazing by the fire or walking around the pond looking for critters a joy. We will definitely stay here again and have already shared the listing with other family members and friends!

This is a gorgeous place to be, however, the steps are a little steeper than what we had Anticipated. I would not recommend this place or anywhere that has had knee replacement or back surgery. But overall, it was very beautiful serene. You want a Place just to sit back and chill. This is for you.

Property was as listed.. very relaxing and peaceful. Only reason for a 4 star over a 5 star would be the beds. They were pretty uncomfortable and not sturdy at all. Other than that it was great.

Trip was booked early in year. Was told my arrival had to be delayed a day due to sump, so vacation started a day late. After reading the book for guests, I discovered a group had been there during that time that delayed my arrival. My 3 day prior to arrival information for entry and Wi-Fi was not provided until the day of arrival. I don't like being lied to, I will not stay there again or any other property she owns.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Laura provided all necessary information for check-in and the process was seamless. The cabin was clean and comfortable with plenty of room for the 5 of us. Location is terrific: easy drives to good hikes/trails and the local restaurants/ice cream/coffee shops. Great views of the sunset from the porch. We did not use the grill or fire pit but these are nice features that we'd routinely utilize. We would stay again. Thanks!

Great place to stay while exploring Red River Gorge. Steep stairs from lower level. All rooms were comfortable. Enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. Make sure to get exact location from the owner before arriving. Was very responsive tour questions
Great place to stay while exploring Red River Gorge. Steep stairs from lower level. All rooms were comfortable. Enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. Make sure to get exact location from the owner before arriving. Was very responsive tour questions

Beautiful cabin! Host was very responsive to any questions/issues we had. It rained most of the time so we weren’t able to enjoy fire pit or much of outside dining but there were two covered areas to spend time in. Very close to Natural Bridge and stores/restaurants. We would love to come back when not raining.

We were in Kentucky for a girls trip. Loved the cabin. It was in a great location for the hiking trails, kayaking....The host communication was great!

Cabin was very nice, and as described. In perfect shape. Nice outdoor areas (deck, covered porch, campfire). Hot tub was perfect temp and ready to go when we got there. Kitchen was small but workable (no D/W, though). Very convenient location to Natural Bridge State Park, and close (20-minute drive) to Red River Gorge Area trailheads.Host was very responsive and easy to communicate with. A couple of heads-ups:- The stairs from the lower to main level are steep and narrow. Doable, it a bit challenging for this 60 year-old. - Put the earliest riser in your group in the lower level bedroom. The main floor has a few creaky spots (no big deal, just a bit loud first thing in the morning).- The listing said that the cabin is a 3 min walk to Natural Bridge State Park, but apparently that’s just to the park border. Access to the trailheads is a quick 5 minute drive. I would definitely recommend this place.

Our family spent a wonderful week in the RRG area. "On The Rocks" proved to be a great location for us as we spent the week climbing, hiking and rafting. The 3 levels of the house allowed late risers to sleep in while others were able to have access to the kitchen and porch areas. The house was as described in the listing and very clean. We used the hot tub and fire pit areas and enjoyed hearing the birds and frogs from the porches. Thank you for sharing your home, it is an awesome place to stay!

Gorgeous cabin, peaceful and private setting but close to all the area attractions, hiking trails and a few restaurants. Cabin was very nice, had everything you need to enjoy a wonderful vacation but still feel at home. Highly recommend On The Rocks cabin!

We had a great time at Laura's place. It was close and convenient to all of the fun things to do in the Red River Gorge area. We were able to do a number of great hikes, Gorge Underground and hit some good restaurants all within the time we were here. Having the pond close by for some morning and evening fishing was a great bonus!

We enjoyed our stay at this property. Bring fishing rods if you like to fish! My kids spent hours just fishing off the dock. The house is very close to the Gorge Underground and also to the Gorge hiking trails. I wish there would have been coffee provided but other than that the stay was relaxing. I will say if you have any mobility challenges, this house is not for you. There are two two sets of stairs and they are both very steep.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Laura provided all necessary information for check-in and the process was seamless. The cabin was clean and comfortable with plenty of room for the 5 of us. Location is terrific: easy drives to good hikes/trails and the local restaurants/ice cream/coffee shops. Great views of the sunset from the porch. We did not use the grill or fire pit but these are nice features that we'd routinely utilize. We would stay again. Thanks!

Just go ahead and choose this one!! Absolutely beautiful! Perfect location. All the amenities. Super comfy bed!! The hot tub and pool table was great! This cabin was built many years ago by my grandfather and I'm super thankful for the hosts allowing us to stay! You will not be disappointed!!!

Absolute great place to stay. Lots of room, various places to relax and watch TV. Pool table was a nice touch as well. So glad I chose this cabin to get away from life for a few days with my wife!
