Fossils Reach: Comfy, dog friendly, and with superfast broadband

Lovely location, great hosts, excellent accommodation.

We recently had a fantastic family stay in Sandown, where we booked both the Fossil Retreat and Fossil Reach chalets. From the moment we arrived, we were delighted by how clean and well-equipped both chalets were—they truly had everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The owners added a lovely personal touch by leaving us biscuits, tea, coffee, and milk, which made us feel immediately welcomed. The location couldn’t have been better. The beach was just a short walk away, making it incredibly convenient for us to enjoy the beautiful Sandown coastline. The town itself had plenty to offer with great restaurants, stunning beaches, and lovely walking paths, making it a perfect destination for a family getaway. Ian, the host, was excellent—very responsive and quick to answer any questions we had, which made our stay even more pleasant. We highly recommend staying at these chalets. They’re not only beautifully maintained and close to the beach, but they also serve as a great base for exploring the Isle of Wight. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would love to return in the future!

A beautifully decorated, ideal location, excellently equipped, great value for money and completely clean Chalet.

This chalet had everything you could need. It was comfortable looked out over a lovely green with trees and was very quiet and peaceful. The owners were so helpful and kept me informed on everything. Great communication from them. Would definitely recommend this! Easy parking near the chalet
