Worst place i stood at ever. The outside looked abandoned and so did the inside. Bugs and spiders in the hallway ceilings. I had spiders in my room the bed sheets was dirty and the toilet didn't flush properly. . The pool was out of order. So unfortunately I didn't get to enjoy that. So I was very disappointed to not have a swimming pool. The exercise equipment room also didnt work. I was denied a cancellation so that i may book elsewhere. Long story short. If you're reading this. DON'T stay here. Stay as far as possible from here. Pay the extra money and stay elsewhere. Whatever you see in the pictures from there site is false advertisement. I was so stressed out on my business trip. Again. Don't let there hotel pictures fool you like it fooled me..

The property was not the same as pictured the pool was green and closed which was the whole reason this place was chosen, garbage in the elevator, no dining.Dark scary places with eery music playing.

I do not get away often and it was my birthday so we decided to go for a 2 night stay the conference center was close to things we wanted to do we picked it for the indoor pool however the pool water had a green tint and the pool floor was dirty you could smell the chlorine which is not a good thing. It snowed the day before we got there and the first night they never cleared the walkways so it was difficult getting to the room I also had to wonder around to find towels as no one answered the front desk phone so overall the hotel was not worth the money and when we got there we upgraded to the jacuzzi tub room so we spent even more to get less not happy and would not recommend this place to anyone else. I would also like to note I am a pool CPO for the state of NJ

The property was absolutely disgusting. There was blood on our pillows. The rooms were not clean. The sheets had hair on it. The workers were smoking in the lobby. None of the amenities were available. The fitness center equipment was broken and not usable. The swimming pool was closed. There is no continental breakfast at all, not even coffee. The pool table bar and fireplace was not available. The entire area was closed. The whole hotel was absolutely disgusting. I am highly disappointed and request a full refund.

The people were nice, but it's a very old hotel that hasn't been updated probably since the 1990s. The pool and the restaurant looked like they hadn't been open in weeks (months?). But when you don't have working wireless, you can't score higher than 2 stars, especially when that's advertised. The hot water was minimal as well.

This is the first negative review I have ever left. This was clearly once a big bustling resort center. But it likely went under and they sold it. Now some family is running it bare bones, but keeping up all the old pictures of when it was thriving, making it look like it is still nice online. The property looked abandoned when we arrived, weeds everywhere, overgrown, limited signage, and no cars in parking lot. The end where we stayed has like 4 floors and the upper three looked wrecked from the windows. The whole building had a 4/10 cigarette smoke smell. The pool had a "temporarily closed" sign, but had clearly been closed for a long time. It seemed obvious they did not intend to fix it. Various areas were in disrepair, including exposed wiring We we're unhappy, primarily because of the pool being shut down and the cigarette smell. So we asked for our money back, and were told no and give the run around. I probably could have gotten my money back if I got really angry and raged at the man at the counter, but I just don't think that is kind or acceptable, so I decided to leave this review instead. Would highly recommend against staying here.

The place is dirty, and it smells horrible. The pool is not clean and had water dripping from the roof! It has a horrible smell and the bathroom was moldy. The rugs look like they have not been clean in years. We did not have any towels in the room when we got there. Also, the water from the sink and shower looked yellowish. I do not recommend. The owners should invest money into this place and do a make over because it is definetly not what the pictures shows, SPECIALLY the pool area! At ALL!!!

We paid a lot through expedia. The listing said the location had a restaurant and bar. Both had been closed for a very long time. The room was very hot and stuffy when we arrived, the air conditioner barely worked, the windows opened, but had no screens. The halls, stairwells, and elevators were filthy. The surrounding grounds were trashed, with piles of garbage and construction debris.

I arrived to be greeted by a young man who didn't seem to know how to use the computer to look up my reservation. I realized later that perhaps it was because the wifi was so poor (it never worked in my room). This property looks to be about 60 years old, and clearly has been poorly maintained. The pool was empty (not full as in the advertisement). Common areas are dusty, smelly, with construction equipment strewn about. It is clearly falsely advertised on the hotels.com site. My room was dirty, and it appeared someone had cleaned their shoes or feet in the bathtub and the mud remained there when I checked in. The towels were old and "very" scratchy. The bed was good however. There was no thermostat in the room, and the manual settings on the AC made for an uncomfortable sleep. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Absolutely disgusting! When I booked it, it did not say that every single thing in the hotel was closed, including the pool. We drove an extra 30 minutes just because of the pool and how nice the place looked. The photos are like 10yrs old. This hotel is run down and so gross. Smelled horrible! The water ran brown in the bathroom, toilet barely flushed. AC rattled loud. They would not refund me and hotels.com was no help at all! Do not stay here!!!

Hotel outdated, Carpets in the hotel needed to be vacuumed. Elevators were dirty also. Room smelled like moth balls. However the bed linens were clean.

I was supposed to check in @ 3pm but the room WAS NOT READY til 10.40pm. The manager & staff were nasty & rude. They treat me disrespectfully. When we finally get into the room, was so filthy and smelly. Everything around was dirty and unsafe.

Entire building is worn and outdated, outlets out of the wall, ice cold swinging pool, holes in walls, ceiling stains moldy smell, and this is all over the place not just the room asked for a refund and the manager was very rude and refused to entertain a refund. The place should be shut down. Multiple guests were unhappy.

We needed to be in this area n everything else was to expensive for one night so despite all the bad reviews we decided to stay anyway and we were so happy we did. Staff extremely friendly, room was very clean we also checked for bed bugs there were none. The bed was very comfortable. They definitely need upgrades throughtout the hotel but for us or anyone needing a quick stay that isnt afraid to stay somewhere that needs some tlc its perfect!

The water pressure in the shower as well as in the toilet is terrible. The mattresses were uncomfortable. Pillows are not fluffy or offer support as well as there isn't enough of them for a king sized bed. The bath tub was yellow, especially on the rubber part to prevent you from falling. There was this weird smell all throughout the hotel. It was giving Hotel Cortez from American Horror Story with the lighting. 10 /10 would not do again.

This property currently should remove resort from its name as it is hardly a resort. There is no food service since the restaurant and lounge/bar area is closed. The rooms were comfortable but severely dated. The only plus was the convenience and low price for a clean room and comfortable bed for the night.

I like this place but there was no mention of pool heater being broken. Pool is too cold to swim in. Stayed for 3 days then extended for 2 more. Room was never cleaned or restocked. I would have been cool with just restocking. Bed and pillows were perfect. Really comfortable. Bar and restaurant is closed. There are close restaurants around. Best deal if you are just looking to sleep.

The hotel actually appeared to be abandoned when we arrived. There were no cars in the parking lot, and although there was someone at the front desk it didn't get much busier. The room itself was old feeling and felt shabby.

The people were nice, but it's a very old hotel that hasn't been updated probably since the 1990s. The pool and the restaurant looked like they hadn't been open in weeks (months?). But when you don't have working wireless, you can't score higher than 2 stars, especially when that's advertised. The hot water was minimal as well.

The room itself was in decent shape and cleanliness, but the building showed a lot of deterioration. We booked here for the indoor pool, but the water and pool room temp was too chilly. Hickory Run State Park nearby was beautiful and worth visiting. A lot of businesses in the area are boarded up, and I would guess this hotel will join them which is unfortunate because the staff (owners?) were kind.

We paid a lot through expedia. The listing said the location had a restaurant and bar. Both had been closed for a very long time. The room was very hot and stuffy when we arrived, the air conditioner barely worked, the windows opened, but had no screens. The halls, stairwells, and elevators were filthy. The surrounding grounds were trashed, with piles of garbage and construction debris.

The hotel was in rough shape overall. Lots of unfinished projects and debris around. Our room was in reasonable condition, but the overall state of the hotel was rough. The two staff members with whom we interacted were polite.

Customer service at the resort is excellent. We accidentally left a bag with MacBook, but the staff promptly took action to locate it. Despite being busy, they diligently searched and even provided us with an images showing the laptop location. It's worth noting that the device was tracked within the property just a few days after our reservation. Although we encountered a minor setback, the overall experience was positive. While the amenities may not be top-notch, they still met our expectations. It's important to trust the hardworking staff members who go above and beyond to assist guests like us. Thank you Anthony

Was the most disgusting and disappointing hotel I have ever gone too. Mysterious stains, disgusting trash in the hall of spoilt milk, poor quality of pool care, smoking tar on ceiling. Not to mention a man smoking a cigar in building. Hazardous materials(damp aid) left in reach that children or pets could get into. When brought to their attention, they were super trashy and rude about it. Accussed us of being money hungry liars. Terrible customer service, talking over us, taking phone calls mid conversation. Tried to say no ones complained about it but then a cop came and said he gets called out a lot because this place is awful.

The first room toilet wouldn’t flush they moved me to second room and it smelled like urine& the water wasn’t working. I tried get my money back and staff couldn’t call any managers. 3 other people that was there had similar issues! I thought I was in the twilight zone! Expedia relocated me to best western 11 mins away! This place needs to be shut down and fined! Expedia tried calling front desk while I was standing right there and the staff ignored the call right in front of my face. It was unreal! The place look like a scene from zombie apocalypse movies. Please someone shut this place down!!!!

First, the only reason I booked this stay was because close to sold out resort we were going to next day. Advertising an indoor heated pool which was not true. The heater broken, wish I knew that to start. Next, none of the outlets worked. Lamps w no light bulbs. Remote didn't work. No simple toiletries like conditioner. Calling front desk was pointless.

Over the past 4 months, I’ve stayed at this hotel over 50 nites. It started out as a 1 nite stay. I ended up staying a whole month. I’ve been here on 4 more occasions since then including this 15 day stay. The hotel is very clean. No bugs. Pet friendly. The staff is very pleasant, friendly and accommodating. It would be nice if they offered free breakfast. But 1 mile away, there is a Wawa gas station variety store that has almost anything you may need. Plus the gas price isn’t too bad considering. There’s a McDonald’s, a 2 minute walk from Wawa and a Burger King and an Arby’s right across the road from it. So you never have to worry about Food. The nearest Walmart is 15 miles away in Mt Pocono. Highway driving. The hotel has a pool, a small gym that’s alway open. A bar that opens sporadically, a washer and dryer on each floor and ice machines for your ice. The building is 4 stories with 2 elevators and 2 big luggage carts usually always available if people be considerate and bring the carts back down to the 1st floor when they’re finished with them. Plus there’s plenty of parking available. Last weekend, something must have been going on, because there were 81 cars parked right outside my giant picturesque window with even more space available and about 20 more cars parked in front of the check in Office. There’s also BBQ grills outside the pool if that’s your thing. Overall it’s great hotel with reasonable prices.

Very run down! Odd smell in hallway. Decent size hotel and only 4 cars in the lot! Not worth the 60$ stay. Mixed hotel up with another down the street we were familiar with. Certainly was not the hot I was thinking it was. Would have went elsewhere but was too tired to look for something else.

Checked in around 8:00 pm and wasn't feeling safe. The location is very remote. Was hungry and couldn't check the room /bathroom. When I came back from dinner and found out that, the toilet handle was broken, and the shower doesn't have any water pressure /no hot water. The sink was not clean either. Not worth it to stay

This property currently should remove resort from its name as it is hardly a resort. There is no food service since the restaurant and lounge/bar area is closed. The rooms were comfortable but severely dated. The only plus was the convenience and low price for a clean room and comfortable bed for the night.

We had a beautiful stay on New Year's weekend. Big decorated conference room with tables where we celebrated. 2 bars, one with a huge fireplace. Indoor pool was great. Pet friendly. Outside terrace was very nice. Staff were excellent the entire weekend and had a bunch of treats out, eager to give away, on New Year's Day. Thank you to the staff who made our stay very nice!!!

The property was absolutely disgusting. There was blood on our pillows. The rooms were not clean. The sheets had hair on it. The workers were smoking in the lobby. None of the amenities were available. The fitness center equipment was broken and not usable. The swimming pool was closed. There is no continental breakfast at all, not even coffee. The pool table bar and fireplace was not available. The entire area was closed. The whole hotel was absolutely disgusting. I am highly disappointed and request a full refund.

This place was probably a very nice place at one time. “Game” room has about 3 cranes in it, grounds were unkept, the place looked abandoned when you pull up. The room smelled like mold. No staff to be seen, except a counter person and the bar was cash only, bottles only and the juke box didn’t work well. No breakfast.

I booked this room under the impression of having a playground and pool as advertised.upon arrival staff informed me there was no pool and the tv were all down for the next few days. I was offerd a refund dor the second night and had to decline due to the fact it was July 4th and i drove all the way from out of state.

Honestly I dont even know how this hotel is still operating. When I got here there were no cars in the parking lot at all. No amenities of any kind. No pool, no fitness center. Restaurant is turned into storage room. No vending machines and no breakfast, and no staff on duty. I had to wait for the guy to come open the door for me. Room itself was ok. Overall this place is on the verge of abandonment.

No TV in our room with no advance notification. Advised AFTER we paid.! Pool was also not available for use! Water is well water so came out brown at first. No notification on Hotels.com or hotel website! Rom was clean was about the only good thing!
