Fenix Hotel Hollywood

Rhe space works great. I was had two seperate reservations in the same week. Both rooms had very comfortable beds, plenty of space, very clean, and useful kitchen. Nive to have a washer/dryer in the bathroom and there was plenty of space. Not crammed at all. Very secure hotel as well. Rooms along the street can be very noisy, especially at night. Ear plugs were provided. It was pretty bad. Our room facing the pool did not have this issue at all. I would stay again, but only if i could secure a pool facing room. It is very close to all that Hollywood has to offer. Just a 4 min walk to CVS , Target, coffee etc. Great location. Parking, if chosen, also secure and useful. Be sure to connect if needed as spaces are limited and must be reserved.

Liked the location, as it is walking distance to Hollywood landmarks. Pool, gym, lobby and room were clean and welcoming. Nice place and would stay again.

This place is a bit odd. As far as I can tell it's a small apartment complex that has some rooms rented out as hotel rooms. It wouldn't be bad place to have an extended stay at because there is a small washer and dryer in each room and a kitchenette. Big downside to this place, it's very noisy. So noisy they provide ear plugs in the room and I used them. The street is right there and there are lots of noisy cars and motorcycles driving by at all hours of the night. It is nice and clean though. The bed was surprisingly comfortable too and the linens were nice. The parking situation is also a bit odd. You have to call them ahead is time to reserve one of the few spaces they have available for the hotel guests. It is only $25 a night and it's gated and well lit. You access the garage through a not very obvious gate located on West side of the building. You have to jump out of your car and type the code they give you into the keypad. Luckily this side street isn't too busy, but it is narrow. Everything is contact free so pay attention to the email and texts they send you ahead of time. You'll need the elevator code to get up to your room level, plus the front door code if you go out on foot. There is no front desk.

I stayed here for two nights and gave it 3 stars mainly because of the virtual “Front Desk” & check-in and lack of onsite staff. While the idea of a contactless stay sounds convenient, it quickly became frustrating in practice. There was no one available to help with issues, housekeeping, or even basic questions. At one point, the keypad door lock to our room malfunctioned and locked us out around 1 a.m. for around half an hour leaving us to sit in the hallway for any kind of assistance, The only help available was someone over the phone who said they would “reach out to management and hope they answered.” When I asked how long it might take to resolve, I was told there was no time frame. No one ever came to assist us. Eventually, we managed to get back in ourselves by jiggling the doorknob repeatedly while hearing the lock engage—which didn’t exactly inspire confidence in the room’s security. The advertised rooftop lounge was also disappointing—just a few chairs on an empty rooftop with no atmosphere. Throughout our entire stay, we didn’t see a single staff member. Every access point (the front door, garage, elevator) required codes, which made the whole experience feel impersonal and off-putting. It’s unfortunate, because the room itself was great—spacious, clean, and comfortable. With an actual onsite staff presence and better customer support, this could have been a much better stay.

We loved our stay. Easy to access, walkable to the Hollywood Walk of Fame area, washer/dryer in unit as well as full sized frig and microwave in a large kitchenette, lovely pool area and offices and meeting table where I could go to do some work away from the room. There was safe parking- it is a little tight, but worked fine. Would definitely stay here again.

Very close to Hollywood Bpulevard, big room, good beds, easy access to the parking garage, nice pool, easy driving to universal and Warner bros studios. We would definitively book again if we ever go back to LA

Walked to all the famous landmarks on Sunset Blvd. Parking was reserved in advance in a secure garage.

Regular access gate had been down and guests were only allowed to use side door. Trash and poor maintenance condition around main gate. Hallway smelled creepy with mold. Room smelled better but lighting was bad, no functional lamps working in the room. Right adjacent to a major roadway with trucks and other through traffic during the nights. Towels are not clean - found a few blonde hair on them and I have dark hair :( No gym here, community room is piled up with furniture. Pool area is badly maintained. Nobody answered my call when I contacted them. Also no staff is on site to assist with anything. Not a very pleasant experience.

Walking distance for the iconic Hollywood landmarks. The only issue I had was needed a code for everything. Other guests had the same issue. However any issue you can email and they reply back very quickly. Cannot recommend this place enough.

Loved staying at Fenix Hotel. I have absolutely no complaints at all. It's new, clean, safe and at a great location just a block from Hollywood Blvd. My room had a fully equipped kitchen with everything you could need, and a bathroom with a tub and washer/dryer. Loved the simple online check in on the phone, simple and convenient. Will definitely stay here again!

Great place to stay for long visit in LA. Only downside is that our room wasn’t cleaned regularly and we had to asked for extra supplies such as toilet roll etc!!

Met our needs well. Some issues with cleanliness especially in the bathroom and the neighborhood is touristy and dirty but welcome to LA

Loved everything about the property. The staff was easy to contact and took care of us. My only issue was that some of the towels were badly stained.

Nice clean spacious Room, each time I message Staff they replied straight away and were very helpful. Nice and close to Attractions and lots of Food options would definitely stay again Only downfall is that with cleaning only offered once a week or fee charged floor got really gross, we ran out of toilet paper and had to wash our towels we ended having to buy a broom and more toilet papers would be nice if clean towels and more toilet paper were provided every few days and broom was provided in room :)

Overall the room is spacious, clean and liked the amenities of a full kitchen and laundry. The neighborhood is ok, and right next to all the landmarks of Hollywood. However, if you intend to park at their property make sure you reserve parking. Arriving late at night and lugging your luggage from Ovation parking isn't the safest or most convenient at all to walk to the hotel. Still a good place to stay.

Clean room, an apartment type of room with kitchen stove full size ref and a spacey room and bathroom with laundry. Everything you can ask for to stay…

The property is in a good location for seeing some of the key sights in LA including Hollywood and Beverly Hills. We could walk to the Hollywood Bowl. There are shops and restaurants within walking distance. The room was large and very clean. It was nice to have a fridge and microwave but there were no plates, utensils or proper cups which could easily be included. Our room was facing a busy road which was noisy and there was an alarm on in the lobby for many hours. We did not use the pool but it looked nice. I would consider staying here again if we had a room further away from the main road.

This would’ve been a great place to stay but the directions to register your car for parking were confusing and the steps were desperate from registration in the app. Also when we returned from a theme park after a long day finally got to the room to ants in the bed. They moved us to a much smaller room. The general manager was supposed to contact us directly to address the parking issues but we never heard from them.

Nice facilities and amenities. The rooms look way better than the hotel’s curb appeal. Very thin walls. Great security.

You access the garage through a not very obvious gate located on West side of the building. You have to jump out of your car and type the code they give you into the keypad. Luckily this side street isn't too busy, but it is narrow. Everything is contact free so pay attention to the email and texts they send you ahead of time. You'll need the elevator code to get up to your room level, plus the front door code if you go out on foot. There is no front desk.

The room was clean, the cleaning staff was very courteous, there is a huge fence around the hotel, location was good, however it was quite annoying communicating via message box(some private system) really needed help, couldn't get straight to manager.when internet was running slow ir cut

Served our purpose for a close location to see Hollywood Walk of Fame and other local tourist attractions. Clean and convenient. Room lacked lighting and not many kitchen supplies. Needed ice and no way of making ice.

Room was very nice. There was a charge that was not supposed to happen but when i asked about it the refunded it right away. The parking situation is not great they send you to a parking garage that is down the street on a hill that doesnt have security. A sign with the qr code had graffity on it warning you not to park due to break ins and no security. We did not get an access code to the pool but probably could have it asked. Beds were very hard but the room was very nice. I would stay again if i didnt have my car.

Great location for those interested in all things Hollywood. Walking distance to Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre etc The Queen studio room doesn’t have a wardrobe for clothes which was surprising.

Great property. Room was very spacious (just like the pictures). Close to public transportation and the Hollywood strip. Very safe because every door has its own code. Always someone walking around to help you if you need it.

New furnishings. Room was quite noisy throughout the night due to hallway noise. The door is thin and has a large gap at the bottom so all hallway noise in the busy apartment building/hotel to enters the room.

On a cross-country road trip so we came in very late at night. The staff was directly communicating with me about check in/ parking, even at 1:00 am. Very clean room and fun place to stay!!

Make sure you have a charged phone with wifi, or else print your information, there's no one there to help you outside the locked gate, nor is there a person to buzz you in. If you get someone on the phone, they will only send you info to your email or text, not tell you codes on phone, so you need a working phone.

I stay here everytime I'm in town. Perfect location, perfect rooms and the best staff. Can't praise this place enough!

The property had a feeling of an apartment vibe. It was interesting how many different codes you needed to get to your room. That would probably be the only downside. Communication was super fast and friendly. GREAT location and even better that it was dog friendly. The room was super spacious and had everything we needed - minus a wine opener :)

Excellent customer service. Extra blankets brought on the same day that requested them. Bottles of water were restocked, as were toilet rolls and toiletries. We were also offered clean towels, despite having a washer and dryer in the room. I lost my phone on the 2nd day of my stay so didn't have access to my email to retrieve the door codes, however Customer Service were very quick to help me get back in ! Great location, 5 minutes from Hollywood Boulevard and metro line for getting around without a car. We took the metro to and from LAX, Santa Monica and Universal Studios. Would highly recommend!!

Loved that is was close to Hollywood walk of fame and Universal Studios. Homeless close by but they leave people alone. Walking alone might not be recommended. Great communication about how to access the building and suite. Loved that there was a washer and dryer in the suite!!

Great location, 3/4 mins walk (1 block) from Hollywood Boulevard, room was clean, easy to use the keypad entry systems and non-contact check in - would highly recommend - we even used the in-room laundry.
