634 Condo Shinjuku

The location is good next to an elementary school. Good walk to Shinjuku and midway to train stations. A lot of good eateries and convenience stores. The sheets however were lacking. We didn’t have a bedsheet and top sheet. We slept on a bed liner! We didn’t have a proper pillowcase on the bed and extra beds either. They used shams on the other pillows instead of pillowcases. I also had to use a shift dress to cover the pillows we slept on. The towels were all small and all gray. So you can’t tell if they are really clean with no stains. They could be better and bigger and white! At check out, I took off all the shams and found stained and bloody pillows that were already there. The one comforter blanket was yellow and was also stained with blood! The A/c is good but it’s tricky because the timer shuts it off and the remote is all in Japanese characters.. Had to use Translate app to figure it out. Otherwise it’s a nice cute place. They need to add towel hangers to dry damp towels or else hang it on a chair. There’s only one small bath towel and one hand towel per occupant. The bath soaps and shampoos were nice. They also provided slippers and toothbrush and toothpaste.

This condo was perfect for our family of 5 as we needed more space than a standard hotel. The check-in was easy - we just messaged our contact through the Hotels Portal we were on our way with our ETA and he met us there to help us check in and show us where everything was in the condo. With 3 kids, the washer and dryer was an absolute must have, and the shower was perfect for getting everyone washed up. The location is nice and quiet, but only a few min walk in any direction to get into the action of Shinjuku.

We booked for a group of 8 adults and a toddler for 3 nights. It was a nice change from tiny hotel rooms! Each floor has its own bathroom, kitchen, king bed, sofas, and Japanese style sleeping mats. Each floor also has a washer/dryer and projector screen. Very spacious! It was also very clean, including the outdoor spaces. Check in and check out were a breeze. The quiet location was great. There are a lot of restaurants, convenience stores, and shopping within 5 minutes. The subway station is within 10 minutes. Communication with the host was quick and efficient. The stairs are a bit steep and narrow, something to keep in mind. Highly recommend!
