It was friendly enough, but my reservation stated smoke-free, free breakfast, and that they had a pool. They tried to give me a smoking room, there wasn’t any breakfast, and the pool is broken and sludgy. Fine for passing through. Reminded me of Schitt’s Creek, but there wasn’t David to spice it up.

Pool was green. Floor in room turned your feet black. Drain valve in bathtub was broken. Housekeeping brought clean towels once in a 4 day stay. Air conditioning was off in July and room was hot and had a musty smell. It took a while to cool the room.

One of the beds was made but when I pulled back the sheets there was dirt and hair. The sink was also stopped up. I called the woman in reception and she came and changed the sheets and used a cup there to unclog sink.

The staff was friendly at check in but as soon as we walked in the room the whole thing was dirty, the floors had dirt and debris everywhere and the mirror above the sink had splatter marks everywhere on it and the microwave was filthy and the tub was dirty and stained really bad and the sheets were stained and very wrinkled and had crumbs on them and as soon as we turned on the heat the smoke alarm went off and I went to the office and told the staff and right away she had an attitude and told me that I needed to open the door and window because it’s like all heaters that when you first turn them on they smoke so you have to open the door and window, she came in the room and opened the window and there was no screen in it. They did not offer continental breakfast, my mom asked at check in but when booking online it said free continental breakfast when booking the room, the whole experience was awful, needless to say as soon as I got off work and got back to the room my mother and I packed up and left the same day!

The gal who does the cleaning and maintenance was over the top. My fridge wasnt keeping food cold enough. She replaced it immediately and said if any food was bad she would replace it. Wow!

Have stayed at the Colonial Inn before - it is a nice place and well worth the money. However, this time I booked through Expedia. When I booked through Expedia it indicated 7 rooms remained. When my wife and I arrived at 8:30pm we were told that there were no rooms - the front desk staff explained that Expedia had been notified 2 weeks prior to stop booking. We had to drive 30 minutes away and pay close to double the cost of the room we had reserved. LESSON LEARNED: CALL THIS MOTEL DIRECTLY - DO NOT BOOK THROUGH EXPEDIA

The Motel was a little outdated and could use some renovations. but the room was clean, the service was friendly and the nights were quiet. I will definitely return.

Service was great. We were only here for an overnight and it is pretty much the only place in the area but It was clean and in a great location. There is a nice, family restaurant (fish and chicken) on one side of the restaurant if you don't want to drive back out.

A professional cleaning company is in order! Fresh paint and not the wall plates (inexpensive item to replace), more towels plus hand towel's would be nice, maintenance in bathroom tub and some updated furniture! The vinyl plank floor is always nice in hotels but ours was not clean! Our window was not locked upon entry Staff was very kind!

The property said it included breakfast. It did not. There was a change in management and food permits were not available. I reserved 2 rooms in advance. When I arrived my room was ready but the other room was not. Long story short...2nd room's electronic entry was broken so we had to use a master key. If we used it we had to return it immediately which means every time we left we had to retrieve the key from the office. The rooms were disgusting. The floors were so dirty that I would not go barefoot. I will say the people that managed the hotel were nice. Keep driving.

If we used it we had to return it immediately which means every time we left we had to retrieve the key from the office. The rooms were disgusting. The floors were so dirty that I would not go barefoot. I will say the people that managed the hotel were nice. Keep driving.

The property is filling in the pool with cement or some kind of drit or sand. It is an out door pool that isn't going to be used with the why it looked to use cause it looked like they was filling it with something.
