Motel 6-Dallas, TX - Market Center

Not sure what all the negative hub-bub was, property was very suitable for staying (parent with teenage kids). Friendly staff - easy and fast check-in, got extra towels when needed. For the number of guests at the property, was fairly quiet. Small courtyard parking area in the center may be challenging for some with larger vehicles. Overall very good stay, will return !!

I exceptionally enjoyed my stay here. Nothing too fancy but its comfy. Instantly hot water, comfy beds, cold air, Bus stop and a whataburger across the street, gas station next door and its quiet. The only things are theres no microwave in the rooms and guest laundry is all the way at the end by the pool but Other than that, solid place to stay. no complaints at all.

Friendliest staff of any motel I've ever stayed at (and over the years I have slept at a lot of motels), clean and comfy beds. Laundry facility worked well. On the negative side, no microwave, no coffee maker, for 3 or 4 days of 100 degree weather the ice machine did not work, the outsourced room service did not start serving until 11 AM (so no breakfast). No stopper for the bathtub, hence no baths. Bathtub slick and therefore dangerous to shower in for an old guy like me.

I had a pre-paid reservation because my flight would land late in the evening. Once I landed, I called the front desk to confirm that I was coming in late. When I arrived at the hotel, the same person with whom I spoke on the phone checked me in. However, I had to stay outside in the cold, while talking to the person thru a window. There was nobody else with me, nobody in the street, and they even had a security guard walking the perimeter. And still, they wouldn't let me into the lobby with my bags. Had to stay outside. I asked a couple of times and they said "we keep it closed because of the homeless people." I mentioned to them that they knew who I was, I had already paid for the room, and even called to let them know of my arrival. But they still wouldn't open the door... Not the best impression...

Motel is run down. Lady working the counter was rude and acted put out for having to help me. Ice machine was out of order.

Yes very they have a on property security officer who does rounds.

The hotel desk clerk was friendly and fast. The late arrival made me appreciate the quick more than usual. The room was spacious, quite, and well air conditioned. The parking was well lit. Handi Cap parking is available.. The late arrival window is accessible to wheel chairs, and the lobby is accessible with tlwo doors that can be opened. Coffee was said to be available at 6:00 A.M. but was not in this occasion. Cups lids are provided in the room but no coffee pot or coffee is provided.Pleanty if clean towels are provided.

Room is not maintained appropriately. My husband had to leave the room as he became dizzy and realized the air conditioner was emitting coolant into the room when the compressor was on. We had to switch to vent only. The bathroom door would not close tightly. It needs to be rehung. There is mold on the walls. There were dust bunnies all over the floor.

Room had roaches... leaking toilet and Alot of homeless and drug activity

I have been to the location before and the cleaners I feel they had before cleaned the rooms good.I stayed there two other times. This third time I stayed there I checked in May 15th and I was given a dirty room. MY son and I had two beds, on one of the bed frames, there was something dirty that looks like it was dried on. The mirror was smudged and dirty the facet head was dirty the sink was dirty with hair in it, the tub was a little dirty, and the plug you use to plug the bath tub was dirty. This is unacceptable. I am very disappointed. When we asked for another room we were told no. I think I deserve a partial refund because of this. I couldnt even take a bath last night because it was so dirty. Then I rebooked my stay for May 16th-May17th on Expedia and they said they could not find my reservation in my system and then said their system was down. This incovenienced me and my son and we were asked to leave the room at 11am which is check out time today when I had already paid for another day. We had no where to go from 11am -2:30pm. Expedia found us another hotel, but this hotel is not close to anything making it even more convenient for me and wasting more money on Uber rides. I am very disappointed. Will not be going back again.

Room 141 had plumbing leak. I reported it and after about 5 hours they still had not arranged for a new room- bathroom floor had a leak. Also, the bathroom had cockroaches

This place is literally roach infested

No A/C working, bad smell, dirty sheets and towels. Nothing like the pictures being advertised online.

Dirty/dingy. Cleaning was done but there's more of a maintenance issue. The design of the modern Motel 6 threw industrious- made for heavy use materials out the window and replaced them with CHEAP PLASTIC materials that wear down quickly and look cheaper than what they replaced. WHAT A SHAME! Especially for the price! Phone in the room didn't work-couldn't even call the front desk. Had to use my cell phone to call the front desk! Had to turn in my Drivers License to pick up an ironing board and iron! I shouldn't have to waste 5 minutes of my life writing this review. I hope it makes a difference. Not the Motel 6 I grew up with!

Cleanliness and room layout: 2/5 -the room looked freshly mopped but my socks looked like I was walking through mud. -the sides of the toilet weren't cleaned and saw a puddle of urine on the side. -the tried to hide water damage so the bathroom door wouldn't close all the way. -the toilet tank flap lost its suction so it was continuously draining, when I told management so it's not added onto my bill they said they've been waiting for maintenance to fix it. -there was a random door that was blocked by the mini fridge and microwave, which someone was messing with on the other side on the first night. -blankets were moist. Customer service: 2/5 +was able to check in early -when calling the front desk no one answered so left a voicemail. Later I went to talk to them and they told me that the voicemail was t.wkrmimg and they weren't aware that I called. -there wasn't a "do not disturb sign"

Dirty.. moldy.. just disgusting

Floor was greasy, bathtub was nasty, mold in ceiling in bathroom …

VERY dated...no usb charging stuff. and the bathroom- very small. the bathmat was worn thur and the bath tub still had hair in it...

My room was clean and acceptable bed was comfortable only problem was no microwave in room other than that everything was cool for the price on the weekend.

Overall it was a good stay.. there were only 2 small issues.. 1) the t.v. had a cracked screen so it made it difficult to watch it. 2) the microwave did not work so we weren't able to heat up any food in the room. Other than that everything else was really good..I'll be staying here again in the near future.

The room I received this time around had issues. There was a hole in the wall next to the bathtub. The toilet would barely flush the sink drains very slow. My last stay was nothing like this not to mention I requested a king size bed and received two Queen sized beds .. I'm not happy with this location

Kind staff. Clean room with fridge and microwave.

Well located with a lot nearby (not within walking distance) and very easy check-in. Room was spacious and clean. Bed was large and sheets clean, but was an uncomfortable mattress. Bed not so great, but the rest was fine.

I booked a non smoking room and got a smoking room, the top latch on the door was hanging off. There was hair on the bathroom door and bed that wasn’t mines. Also when I got got to the hotel no rooms was ready, the first room the light was not working.

It was a rainy, cold and dreary Thursday night in Dallas. The young man at check in could not have been more pleasant. As he was checking me in I noticed he had me in an upstairs room and asked for ground floor which he quickly accommodated for me and did not even roll his eyes!!(not that I saw anyway) again he was very pleasant and efficient. The next morning my flight was delayed due to weather. I called the front desk and asked if I could delay check out one hour and again she was as accommodating as the young man the night before. When I finally did check out she didn’t charge for my extension and was so nice and wished me Happy Holidays. I know this type things can’t always happen, but when they can it so very much appreciated, and the fact that it was all done with smiles and thank yous goes a very long with me and my return business.

While I did not stay there , the check in process was terrible . I didn’t know that I needed to pay an extra deposit more than the nightly stay . I was told I couldn’t tap my own physical card something that the Arabs do to get over on the Economy because anywhere else in the US OF STORES tap is allowed. Therefore, without hesitation I told him to cancel my room for tonight as he kept provoking me with cash or physical card like im so called thief. Finally, as I was on the phone with my uber , he proceeded to tell me the lobby closes at 9 making me and my 3 luggage sets and carry on bag sit outside. Even while I was there he harrassed another blk woman in front of my face wrongfully accusing her of bringing in an extra female guest when all she did was get dropped off.

I have had a really nice stay here. Room location Was great. Accessable to anything I need . Manager is very nice and I've met a housekeeper That I think is pretty sweet. Overall it's been a positive experience. Thank you.

The staff Mr. Alex, was accomedating, professional, kind and understanding of life. Relatable!!!! A big win from me!!!! If it was not for him, I would have searched a 3rd place. Thank you Alex😁

I've stayed at other motels in the area and I always come back here because the staff is very friendly and helpful always polite and the rooms are always very clean.

Person at the front desk is so disrespectful and rude.

I ended up just paying for my first night and leaving. The rooms has been redone but they smelled bad and the exterior was absolutely disgusting and the clientele was definitely sketchy. I wasn’t about to leave my truck in that parking lot over night. The guy at the counter was very nice and I just explained to him I wasn’t comfortable staying there so he agreed to refund my second night that I was suppose to stay. Also this hotel is nowhere near Dallas Market Center. It’s much closer to Love Field

Manager kicked me out because I used a third party app and booked the room at a discount. I said fine, as nobody wants to be where they're not welcome, but I would need till checkout the following day to secure a new reservation somewhere else. (I had already paid for several days) He agreed and told me he would refund me for the remaining 3 days. Not only did he charge mya $100 "cleaning fee", but it's been a week and still no refund. We left the room spotless, and I took pictures by the way. I'm currently in contact with corporate.

Just a cheap hotel that has been under renovation for years. It’s in a bad area, but close to the airport.

This property is listed as Market Center, but is not located in Market Center nor is it on Market Center Boulevard. It makes it very confusing to book. We booked online day of, but was intended for Motel 6 on Market Center. Once submitting the payment and an Itinerary is provided, noticed the address was not the hotel on market Center nor within market Center. Immediately contacted both Expedia and Motel 6 on Regal Row, and could not get any assistance to change to correct location, (within seconds of submitting reservation/payment) Still awaiting their solution.. i was instructed to cancel the reservation and make one for the correct location, and since then I have not heard from Expedia who collected the money and the property has kept it.

Easy access to freeways and quiet environments

A spacious, clean room with a real blanket on the bed instead of a duvet made this stay a hit for me. It's one of the closest places to stay near Love Field and convenient to any part of North Dallas

The property is in a very very dangerous drug area. I had numerous Uber drivers tell me had bad this area is & how dangerous the area is.. my fault for not looking more into it. But it’s the closest hotel to the southwest training facility. The room was basic & not very clean. Missing base boards & wasn’t very well taken care of.. but what else do ya expect from a motel 6

There are quite a bit of homeless people around the area

No microwave but fridge in room. Heater in room took extra long to come on which was an inconvenience.

the bathroom was way to small. the microwave couldn't be used unless you unplugged the fridge the toilet had to be filled with water

The property need to check you GPS ubication. Was a little confused to go to the entrance. The bathroom Need some manteinance. No amenities or breakfast are incluided.
