Everything about this home was so wonderful. The rental is on the ground floor of a beautiful home on a hillside, and it opens to a huge patio area with a grill, dining table, lounge chairs, patio couch and chairs, a little bar and two person table with chairs. It doubles the living space and the entire unit and patio is completely private, with the added convenience of having the hosts right in the main house for questions or anything you might need. The use of space inside is genius and the decor is inviting and relaxed (reminded me of a lake house). I couldn’t believe there were three bedrooms in there but it’s true, along with everything you need in the kitchen area for making light meals, drinking coffee, or storing leftovers from the dinner we grilled. The living room area is in the same place as the kitchenette and has a comfy couch and large t.v. As if that weren’t enough, we arrived to find a ton of snacks and even a special treat left by the owners. The pool table was an added bonus and a great way to pass the time with family members. We were there for a funeral for my husband’s sister so it was a painful time, but this place provided us with the quiet peacefulness we needed at the time. The hosts could not have been more gracious, helpful or responsive. What a pleasant surprise this rental was! A huge thank you to Captain David and his wife for the hospitality! Definitely recommend!

Spotless, with very comfortable beds and furnishings including snacks, towels, and extras! There is not a full kitchen, but they have a toaster, coffee pot, crock pot, toaster oven, and grill available with plenty of disposable dishes. Very quiet, with a great outdoor space facing the woods. Fire pit and plenty of outdoor seating too. Highly rexommend!!!

The property was very nice. Having access to patio with music and lighting with a grill and black stone was wonderful. Fire pit was nice too. Wifi not great indoors but fine on patio. Plenty of towels , great snacks and condiments with spices and grill utensils. Provided paper goods and silverware. Host Captain David is so nice. We will definitely book again.

Great property w/ an amazing back patio for relaxing and hanging out. Only issue we had was the Wi-Fi not working, which under some circumstances would have been a major hardship as I sometimes have to work remotely, however, it was not an issue for us on this occasion (it's possible it could have been rectified but we never complained). Will definitely return!

The property is amazing from the second you walk in the door. The fishing decorations are something to be marveled and the patio is everyman's dream. I will definitely be booking again.

The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, with excellent communication. The lodge was very clean and comfortable. My nephew really enjoyed playing pool on the pool table. This is a very nice place to stay with even nicer people as your hosts. I'd definitely recommend staying here.

This property is wonderful and certainly beats a hotel room. David the host is friendly and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The patio looks directly out at a forest where deer meander. We definitely would stay again!

Hands down a fantastic place to stay! The hosts were great and so kind. The place was also so clean that all the guests in our party were very impressed. Would recommend to anyone to stay and we would stay again for sure!

Our stay was amazing captain David ∠ie were so sweet, definitely enjoyed our conversations. We had an amazing wine and chocolate covered strawberries for our anniversary! We will definitely book with them again in the future. We were very happy and pleased with our stay. Their home is beautiful, was very clean and had everything we needed and then some for our stay!

We did enjoy our stay. A few things that I will make note of, but we would still come back again!It did take some getting used to not having running water in the kitchenette area. As people who don't tend to eat a lot of ready to serve food, not having a full kitchen was more of a challenge than I thought it would be... but we made it work :-)For my elderly parents, the walkway down was a bit of a challenge with no railing - especially since we arrived after dark due to traffic.Finally, high speed internet really is not. I was barely able to get my maps to load and download to my bike computer, and I was really glad this was not a trip where I would need to do work.All in all, it is a lovely space in a BEAUTIFUL part of the world. I told my husband I would come stay here again and do many more bike rides just starting from this location and exploring!

This place was in a very quiet and peaceful location. The space itself is only the bottom portion that you see on the back side. You do not have access to the other balcony areas (which we did not know). There is no kitchen sink or oven, and the toaster oven cannot be used with any other appliance or the breaker blows. (This happened during our stay.) If you like fish - you will love this place. The decor is HEAVY on the fish (more than is in the pictures on VRBO). To the hosts, I would suggest removing some of the things and clearing some counter space, as it was difficult to find places to set things & felt pretty cluttered. Only one bedroom had a window - my room was pitch black at 2pm in the afternoon. All of this would've been helpful to know before hand - as these things were not spelled out - and we went by all the fabulous reviews about the hosts. The hosts ARE amazing - generous, friendly, helpful and responsive. They are the best! I just think this cabin space is much more cramped than it appears in the pictures, and is definitely set up with fishermen in mind. I went with my BFF for a girls weekend away, and we were just overwhelmed by the fish everywhere on the walls, counters, shelves...even the toiletpaper holder is a fish. Haha!! If you're making a fishing trip & are looking for a great place to sleep or hang out outside when you're not fishing (you need to have good weather to use the outdoor offerings), this is the place for you! You will not be disappointed!

We were very pleased with the property and our hosts. Our purpose for this trip was to begin scouting areas for possible relocation - not only were these accommodations perfect for us but David and Angie went out of their way to provide us realtor information. Also, the home made cookies from Angie were amazing! If you're looking to do any fishing in the area, David is your guy (guide!).

Stay was for work and pleasure. Loved the area off the beaten path. Country hillsides location with short commutes for necessities and food. Host was very accommodating and assured to resolve any problem should it arise. Host was always available. Nicely decorated. Highly recommend.

The rental is on the ground floor of a beautiful home on a hillside, and it opens to a huge patio area with a grill, dining table, lounge chairs, patio couch and chairs, a little bar and two person table with chairs. It doubles the living space and the entire unit and patio is completely private, with the added convenience of having the hosts right in the main house for questions or anything you might need. The use of space inside is genius and the decor is inviting and relaxed (reminded me of a lake house). I couldn’t believe there were three bedrooms in there but it’s true, along with everything you need in the kitchen area for making light meals, drinking coffee, or storing leftovers from the dinner we grilled. The living room area is in the same place as the kitchenette and has a comfy couch and large t.v. As if that weren’t enough, we arrived to find a ton of snacks and even a special treat left by the owners. The pool table was an added bonus and a great way to pass the time with family members. We were there for a funeral for my husband’s sister so it was a painful time, but this place provided us with the quiet peacefulness we needed at the time. The hosts could not have been more gracious, helpful or responsive. What a pleasant surprise this rental was! A huge thank you to Captain David and his wife for the hospitality! Definitely recommend!

This was a great place to stay for the weekend and have some quality time with the kids. Dave was super nice and easy to deal with. We even had homemade cookies waiting for us!

The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, with excellent communication. The lodge was very clean and comfortable. My nephew really enjoyed playing pool on the pool table. This is a very nice place to stay with even nicer people as your hosts. I'd definitely recommend staying here.

This property is wonderful and certainly beats a hotel room. David the host is friendly and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The patio looks directly out at a forest where deer meander. We definitely would stay again!

Stay was for work and pleasure. Loved the area off the beaten path. Country hillsides location with short commutes for necessities and food. Host was very accommodating and assured to resolve any problem should it arise. Host was always available. Nicely decorated. Highly recommend.

We did enjoy our stay. A few things that I will make note of, but we would still come back again!It did take some getting used to not having running water in the kitchenette area. As people who don't tend to eat a lot of ready to serve food, not having a full kitchen was more of a challenge than I thought it would be... but we made it work :-)For my elderly parents, the walkway down was a bit of a challenge with no railing - especially since we arrived after dark due to traffic.Finally, high speed internet really is not. I was barely able to get my maps to load and download to my bike computer, and I was really glad this was not a trip where I would need to do work.All in all, it is a lovely space in a BEAUTIFUL part of the world. I told my husband I would come stay here again and do many more bike rides just starting from this location and exploring!

We had the best time discovering the hidden gem that is found in Greenback, TN and Tellico Lake. We loved the many hiking trails and beautiful scenery of this portion of TN, which gives you the benefits of the Smokeys without the human congestion that you find at the national park. Captain Dave was a wonderful host.

We had such an incredible getaway at this home in Greenback. From the moment we arrived the views completely took our breath away, so peaceful and private. It felt like our own little retreat. The home was spotless and incredibly well appointed. Especially love spending time in the outdoor space, it was a perfect place to relax and enjoy the scenery and the pool table was a fun bonus also. The host was a fantastic to work with - communication was clear, timely, and genuinely helpful which made everything seamless from start to finish.
