Great location. Very comfortable well equipped cottage. 2 bedrooms with one being loft style open to the living space below. Fine for friends sharing. Only thing I’d change is carpeting in the bathroom.

The cottage was a welcoming sight, but no surprise! It was exactly as Jeff, the host, described it. The cottage was clean, quaint and cozy! Don’t let the picture of the outside of the cottage fool you. The cottage may look small from the outside, but it is actually quite roomy and inviting in the inside. The weather was in the high 90’s, yet the cottage remained cool with the use of the ceiling fans and air conditioners. The cottage offered all the amenities that you would need, plus a welcome chocolate bar and note from Jeff. There was also a side deck to the cottage that had chairs, small table and grill. We did not take advantage of this area , due to the extreme heat. Ashtabula itself, was quaint and the people were extremely friendly. The host left nice suggestions for restaurants, beaches and to-do attractions. Parking was limited to one vehicle in front of the cottage, but had access to additional parking not far from the cottage. There was also a small bluff area with benches, which was nice to sit and enjoy the lake view and/ or sunset.

We wanted a place to stay while visiting with family in the area and wanted to bring our dog. This cottage was just what we were looking for. The house is smallish, but comfortable, with plenty of amenities (washer/drier, fast internet, cosey furniture) and parking at the house. When a big storm came through and knocked out power for 24 hours, Jeff was in constant communication with us and MetEd with updates on how the repairs were going. Highly recommend!

The only slight problem was finding the house itself. Billow Beach is unmarked and it's easy to miss. We had 2 vehicles, one parked in front of the house, the other at the end of the driveway. I had to contact Jeff to get parking details. The cottage itself is clean, cozy and comfortable. Jeff is an excellent host. I would not hesitate to stay there again.

Our group of friends stayed for one night to go to the Great Lakes Medieval Festival. We slept 2 in one bed, one in the other bed, and one on the couch. The tv, fridge, and the multiple ac units made us feel comfortable and like we had enough room to sprawl out. We asked the host for a couple specific things and he accommodated and was very friendly.

We spent 5 days here and it was very relaxing. Jeff does a great job taking care of the cottage. We would suggest to change some of the carpeting with a ceramic tile or linoleum. Also spray a little more for aunts. But We would strongly recommend staying here. Thanks for all you do Jeff.

This was a cozy and pleasant cottage. The location is nice, but the cottages are very close together. There was a nice little deck along one side of the cottage though, and the neighbors we talked to were very pleasant and fun. The only thing that was disappointing was the TV--pretty small, an obstructed view from the couch, and not a lot we could find to watch that didn't require a payment, which we probably couldn't do anyway. It was a quick walk to the waterfront, and although beach access was closed due to erosion, there was a bench we could sit on and look at the lake. It was lovely there! There is a restaurant right next to it--good pizza and salad. All in all, we felt very comfortable and welcomed in this cottage, and had a fun time going to beaches, lighthouses, covered bridges, and Geneva-on-the-Lake. I would stay there again.

The property was clean and comfortable & had everything we needed in kitchen and bathroom. The owner was great to work with. It was much smaller than we thought - not really suited for a family. Better suited for 2 or 3 adults. Nice location near the lake, but driving in and out was difficult and parking was painful.

Our stay was great! It was wonderful to have a landing pad while visiting family. There were only two oddities. The first was the fan in the bathroom didn't seem to function, but since it was just our family we left the door cracked. The other was the door lock was a bit tricky with the code, you had to pull the door toward you while putting the code in or the lock wouldn't move. But both were easy to look over with the comfort, location, and amenities available.

Pros: convenient to GOTL and public beach, decorated nicely, quiet Cons: dog hair everywhere, dishes and pots/pans were dirty (had to wash before using), no lake view (walked down lane to look at lake but felt we were in someone else's yard invading their privacy)

House was very clean and well equipped. Just a short walk to see the lake, beautiful sight. Very quiet area. Enjoyed our breakfast and pies from the little pie shop and pizza from the restaurant next door. We were inbetween 2 beaches for swimming. I would recommend this cottage.

Really nice cottage overall. Was just a 2 minute walk to the waters edge although it was corroded from the storms we disnt mind it too bad. Jeff is a great host as well. Never had tto call him becaise we never needed a thing. We will be ba k.

My family decided last minute to spend the night when visiting Geneva-On-the Lake. So happy we decided to stay here. It was very homey! Jeffrey was a great contact with lots of information on the area. Hope to come back again!

The tv, fridge, and the multiple ac units made us feel comfortable and like we had enough room to sprawl out. We asked the host for a couple specific things and he accommodated and was very friendly.

Property is clean, quiet, and comfortable. Beds are comfortable, water pressure is excellent. Jeff is very responsive and pleasant to deal with. We would be happy to stay here again.

Had a great time. The cottage was clean and very well kept, pretty close to The strip at Geneva On the Lake, we would walk to the water and watch the beautiful view, had a great time.

The only slight problem was finding the house itself. Billow Beach is unmarked and it's easy to miss. We had 2 vehicles, one parked in front of the house, the other at the end of the driveway. I had to contact Jeff to get parking details. The cottage itself is clean, cozy and comfortable. Jeff is an excellent host. I would not hesitate to stay there again.

This was a cozy and pleasant cottage. The location is nice, but the cottages are very close together. There was a nice little deck along one side of the cottage though, and the neighbors we talked to were very pleasant and fun. The only thing that was disappointing was the TV--pretty small, an obstructed view from the couch, and not a lot we could find to watch that didn't require a payment, which we probably couldn't do anyway. It was a quick walk to the waterfront, and although beach access was closed due to erosion, there was a bench we could sit on and look at the lake. It was lovely there! There is a restaurant right next to it--good pizza and salad. All in all, we felt very comfortable and welcomed in this cottage, and had a fun time going to beaches, lighthouses, covered bridges, and Geneva-on-the-Lake. I would stay there again.

Our family had a great few days staying here, and walked down to look out over the lake several times a day. Convenient location for getting to both GOTL and Ashtabula Harbor in minutes. Friendly neighbors and comfortable accommodations.

The property was clean and comfortable & had everything we needed in kitchen and bathroom. The owner was great to work with. It was much smaller than we thought - not really suited for a family. Better suited for 2 or 3 adults. Nice location near the lake, but driving in and out was difficult and parking was painful.

Property was clean and very nice. We stayed there so we could visit the D-day re-enactment in Conneaut Oh.. We also took a tour of the covered bridges. Very nice area.

House was very clean and well equipped. Just a short walk to see the lake, beautiful sight. Very quiet area. Enjoyed our breakfast and pies from the little pie shop and pizza from the restaurant next door. We were inbetween 2 beaches for swimming. I would recommend this cottage.

We had a business stop not too far away, so we found this wonderful place. It was perfect for our weekend. It was clean. Communication was excellent. We found several places to ear during our stay, and we enjoyed all of them. Even though it was off season, it was such a wonderful place to stay. The owners have a nice treasure in this place. ❤️

My family decided last minute to spend the night when visiting Geneva-On-the Lake. So happy we decided to stay here. It was very homey! Jeffrey was a great contact with lots of information on the area. Hope to come back again!

The cottage was a welcoming sight, but no surprise! It was exactly as Jeff, the host, described it. The cottage was clean, quaint and cozy! Don’t let the picture of the outside of the cottage fool you. The cottage may look small from the outside, but it is actually quite roomy and inviting in the inside. The weather was in the high 90’s, yet the cottage remained cool with the use of the ceiling fans and air conditioners. The cottage offered all the amenities that you would need, plus a welcome chocolate bar and note from Jeff. There was also a side deck to the cottage that had chairs, small table and grill. We did not take advantage of this area , due to the extreme heat. Ashtabula itself, was quaint and the people were extremely friendly. The host left nice suggestions for restaurants, beaches and to-do attractions. Parking was limited to one vehicle in front of the cottage, but had access to additional parking not far from the cottage. There was also a small bluff area with benches, which was nice to sit and enjoy the lake view and/ or sunset.

Our stay exceeded all of our expectations in every way! The cottage was furnished perfectly with comfortable seating and beds and even snacks to take with us to the weekend car show. It was just a one minute walk to the lake from our door. We found a great lakeside restaurant for the evening that offered local fish which was delicious. We will be back for sure! Thank you!

Really nice cottage overall. Was just a 2 minute walk to the waters edge although it was corroded from the storms we disnt mind it too bad. Jeff is a great host as well. Never had tto call him becaise we never needed a thing. We will be ba k.

We wanted a place to stay while visiting with family in the area and wanted to bring our dog. This cottage was just what we were looking for. The house is smallish, but comfortable, with plenty of amenities (washer/drier, fast internet, cosey furniture) and parking at the house. When a big storm came through and knocked out power for 24 hours, Jeff was in constant communication with us and MetEd with updates on how the repairs were going. Highly recommend!
