Wow! My wife and I (and our dog) had an awesome experience staying at the Cozy Bear-Themed Mountain Cabin in Harpers Ferry. The cabin was very welcoming, including a colorful sign with our names on it! The cabin was very clean, and the amenities were “as described” and all in great condition! We spent a long weekend there in the Fall, and the location was beautiful. We had a very relaxing time, enjoying much needed peace and solitude (and the hot tub and fire pit on the deck). The entire cabin was well stocked with any and everything you needed, and the kitchen was modern with all new appliances, making it easy to prepare our meals.Jasmine and Nate (Hosts) did an excellent job communicating with us. They provided an excellent list of things to do and places to eat. We had a small issue with the hot tub and Nate came to the cabin quickly and resolved it and even gave us a bottle of wine. It was nice having a Host that lived nearby. We are looking forward to staying at the cabin again.Bill & Vicki

We were so impressed with the cozy bear cabin. Jasmine made our stay so easy with all the conveniences available.We loved the kitchen size. Even our sweet furry friend had two pet bowls. 5 stars!

We loved the place. Jasmine was communicative, she added a personal welcome sign, and the place and area was dog-friendly. Everything in the house was easily labeled and available to us, and the location was perfect. We felt like it was a true getaway but only 20 minutes from so many shops and activities. We played board games and enjoyed the deck and the grill.

The cabin had everything we needed for a wonderful, relaxing vacation to reconnect with our adult children. We were amazed at all the amenities and the attention to detail. We enjoyed evenings in the hot tub, grilling, and relaxing with games by the firepit on the back deck. In the mornings we watched the deer and their fawns wander through the backyard. We highly recommend this cabin. While we stayed with all adults, it is very appropriate for children also.

This place was fantastic and just what we needed for the plans I had for my 40th birthday. Friday night just a few family members came to hang out, including some little kids. There are games to play and the sun room is a perfect spot for them to have space to be silly. We made a wood fire in the fire pit, PLENTY of firewood, so the kiddos could roast marshmallows. The house had roasting sticks when I lamenting forgetting mine. Everything is so well stocked for what we needed. Saturday we had some friends come, and an acoustic musician come to play some tunes. The living room was just PERFECT for that. He stayed with us that night, too, and said that the bed was incredibly comfortable. Everyone loved it. The hot tub was clean and also beautiful. The beds were indeed comfortable (I already miss it,) and the things provided made the stay much easier. Two things that were difficult, but I'm easy and can make things work. Parking was challenging when having other people stop by. We made it happen without anyone parking in grass, but the driveway is gravel, tight with trees and the house itself. Thankfully my boyfriend is pretty good at car-Tetris. The other thing is that the third bedroom, in the loft, was very very hot. I'm glad that a few plans fell through and no one had to sleep up there. The rest of the house was perfectly cooled. The decor and theme is amazing. It is definitely all the cabin vibes! We spent the entire weekend watching/hearing of some deer and babies!

We very much enjoyed our mid-week September stay in the Cozy Bear Cabin. The cabin is spacious, tastefully decorated, clean, and well-stocked with essentials like towels, kitchen appliances and hardware, etc. The cabin has central air, which was critical during the heat wave we experienced, as well as modern technology upgrades, like smart TV and remote control fans and lighting. The cabin is also pet-friendly, which allowed us to bring our dog along for the journey. Simple pet amenities were provided, like a food and water bowl stand, which was greatly appreciated. The host, Jasmine, was extremely responsive throughout the booking and stay process and was always looking to provide a 5-star experience. The cabin is located ~ 15 minutes from the historic part of Harper’s Ferry and ~ 15 minutes from Charlestown, where you can get essentials, like groceries. This location was perfect for us, as we wanted access to those places, while still enjoying the charm of the cabin and the outdoors. Our favorite aspects were the sunroom off the back of the house, where we did yoga and let our dog run around while it rained, the hot tub, which was very clean and properly maintained, and the kitchen, where we prepared a lot of our meals during our trip. We highly recommend this property if you are looking for a cabin in the woods in West Virginia!

My partner and I stayed for 2 nights and loved our time at Cozy Bear. We're based in DC and really enjoyed the location, cleanliness of the cabin, and overall amenities. We cooked meals in the large kitchen -- had everything we needed. The bedrooms and bathrooms were perfect. Really enjoyed the outdoor hot tub during a cold January night. Overall the cabin was great, close to fun hikes, and Jasmine was super nice/easy to communicate with. Five star stay and we will be booking again.

When the listing mentions bears, it means it... Lol. So many fun details to find. We came to the area because I was going to a track day at Summit Point. The cabin was an excellent home base and the hot tub was just perfect after a long day abusing my body at break neck speeds. They knew we were bringing our dogs, and they left the cabin set up to make a trip with pups super easy. If, like me, you have a trailer with your track bike, know that the cabin is on a gravel road with some hard turns if you take the wrong route, but it's totally manageable if you go straight down the hill and to the left despite what Waze recommends. I would (and likely will) stay here again. My family loved it as well.

The cabin was very comfortable, clean, and cozy for our family of six. The loft is perfect for kids, everything was spacious and modern, and the location was very quiet and peaceful. This cabin is in the perfect location to find and access. We arrived late and parked in front of the outdoor building. The property was spotless and very inviting. Everything was clean and the extras around the house made the trip awesome. Thanks again and we look forward to staying there again!

Such a cute place and so comfortable for our family - we only had a small group of us this trip (3 humans, plus 2 dogs : ) but we would have been very comfortable with a larger group - a lot of space for hanging out, the kitchen is well stocked and spacious. We have rented a lot of places for vacations, and this was by far the most well-appointed we've ever stayed at. Everything was clean and well-maintained, with plenty of towels and other essentials. Owners extremely accommodating with great attention to detail!

We are locals of the area and had our friends in town to visit. We wanted them to experience the beauty of West Virginia and this was the perfect place. From the personalized welcome sign, cleanliness of the home, and beautiful fall views- this place was wonderful. We will be looking to book in every season.

We had the absolute best time in this cozy cabin in the woods. We were joined by amazing wildlife in the backyard during our stay! Every room in the cabin was spotless and the kitchen had everything we could possibly need and more. Jasmine was very accommodating and promptly responded to any questions we had. 10/10 !!! We would absolutely stay here again!

The cabin had what we were looking for. It was super clean, the kitchen had everything we needed, even spices and coffee. The washer, dryer, refrigerator, stove, and dishwasher seemed all very new. The beds were comfortable with lots of extra blankets for those cold nights. Bathrooms had nice supply of shampoo/conditioner/soaps and other supplies. Wifi worked well and plenty of places to charge. While other homes were close by, it was still very private. Best part was the hot tub! Although we didn't use the fire pits, they were available to us. We did some good hiking around the area and even accessed the Appalachian Trail. Owners were extremely accessible for any of our needs.

Very happy with our stay. The host was excellent with communications, having many amenities already supplied, that others do not supply. The cabin was cozy yet spacious enough for our group. I would highly recommend staying here. Our two small dogs also enjoyed their stay

Just a short vacation. My husband wanted to visit Harpers Ferry for the history & take train pictures. Our Bear cabin was perfect! Jasmine has thought of everything…including a sweet welcome sign as you enter. Everything in the kitchen is labeled so you don’t have to search. The paper products & dish soap & bath products were provided which is quite generous! Plenty of towels & extra blankets. The beds were very cozy!! This was one of the best places I have stayed in. And we didn’t have to worry about any chores before leaving which was really nice! We did take out our stinky trash from the precious night though. I recommend this sweet cabin to a couple or a little family looking for a getaway. The loft was so adorable for kids too!!

We had a lovely time staying in this cabin, which is close enough to any necessity as to be convenient, but secluded enough to make you feel like you're truly away from civilization! The furnishings were very comfortable, the hot tub was a wonderful treat, and the host was friendly and responsive. We will definitely stay again the next time we're in Harper's Ferry! (Oh, and the commitment to the bear theme delighted our whole party. All in all, we counted 72 bears on various pieces of decor)

This place was fantastic and just what we needed for the plans I had for my 40th birthday. Friday night just a few family members came to hang out, including some little kids. There are games to play and the sun room is a perfect spot for them to have space to be silly. We made a wood fire in the fire pit, PLENTY of firewood, so the kiddos could roast marshmallows. The house had roasting sticks when I lamenting forgetting mine. Everything is so well stocked for what we needed. Saturday we had some friends come, and an acoustic musician come to play some tunes. The living room was just PERFECT for that. He stayed with us that night, too, and said that the bed was incredibly comfortable. Everyone loved it. The hot tub was clean and also beautiful. The beds were indeed comfortable (I already miss it,) and the things provided made the stay much easier. Two things that were difficult, but I'm easy and can make things work. Parking was challenging when having other people stop by. We made it happen without anyone parking in grass, but the driveway is gravel, tight with trees and the house itself. Thankfully my boyfriend is pretty good at car-Tetris. The other thing is that the third bedroom, in the loft, was very very hot. I'm glad that a few plans fell through and no one had to sleep up there. The rest of the house was perfectly cooled. The decor and theme is amazing. It is definitely all the cabin vibes! We spent the entire weekend watching/hearing of some deer and babies!

Wow! My wife and I (and our dog) had an awesome experience staying at the Cozy Bear-Themed Mountain Cabin in Harpers Ferry. The cabin was very welcoming, including a colorful sign with our names on it! The cabin was very clean, and the amenities were “as described” and all in great condition! We spent a long weekend there in the Fall, and the location was beautiful. We had a very relaxing time, enjoying much needed peace and solitude (and the hot tub and fire pit on the deck). The entire cabin was well stocked with any and everything you needed, and the kitchen was modern with all new appliances, making it easy to prepare our meals.Jasmine and Nate (Hosts) did an excellent job communicating with us. They provided an excellent list of things to do and places to eat. We had a small issue with the hot tub and Nate came to the cabin quickly and resolved it and even gave us a bottle of wine. It was nice having a Host that lived nearby. We are looking forward to staying at the cabin again.Bill & Vicki

The cabin was very comfortable, clean, and cozy for our family of six. The loft is perfect for kids, everything was spacious and modern, and the location was very quiet and peaceful. Perfect if you're looking to hike and tour around Harper's Ferry. Jasmine was a very good host and we hope to visit there again.

We had lots of fun during our 2 nights stay at the cabin.2 families with 4 kids ranging between 2.5 to 12 years old.Kids loved the bear themed cabin and kept looking for more bears.Drive to Harper's ferry and stores is about 15 minutes.House is fully equipped and easy to find everything (all drawers and cabinets in the kitchen are labeled).Communication before booking and during the stay was great.Highly recommended, we will definitely come back again.

My friends and I had such a great stay at this cabin!! Jasmine was super thoughtful in the welcoming touches to the place and was easy to communicate with before, during, and after our stay. The sleeping spaces were all so comfy, kitchen was well-stocked, and that deck area is just the best. Even though there are neighbors close by the deck and surrounding trees offer a lot of privacy and we always felt safe. Absolutely would recommend!

We had the absolute best time in this cozy cabin in the woods. We were joined by amazing wildlife in the backyard during our stay! Every room in the cabin was spotless and the kitchen had everything we could possibly need and more. Jasmine was very accommodating and promptly responded to any questions we had. 10/10 !!! We would absolutely stay here again!

We loved the place. Jasmine was communicative, she added a personal welcome sign, and the place and area was dog-friendly. Everything in the house was easily labeled and available to us, and the location was perfect. We felt like it was a true getaway but only 20 minutes from so many shops and activities. We played board games and enjoyed the deck and the grill.

There is Wildlife to watch in the yard (deer, squirrels and woodpeckers). Convient to downtown Harpers Ferry (20min).Overall, We recommend the Cozy Bear for a relaxed stay.

Well appointed cabin with all the kitchen necessities. Nice extra touches like coffee and spices. Comfortable beds. The location worked well to visit National Parks, DC, and also family in the area. Close to many excellent vineyards. Lots of fun bear decor.

We very much enjoyed our mid-week September stay in the Cozy Bear Cabin. The cabin is spacious, tastefully decorated, clean, and well-stocked with essentials like towels, kitchen appliances and hardware, etc. The cabin has central air, which was critical during the heat wave we experienced, as well as modern technology upgrades, like smart TV and remote control fans and lighting. The cabin is also pet-friendly, which allowed us to bring our dog along for the journey. Simple pet amenities were provided, like a food and water bowl stand, which was greatly appreciated. The host, Jasmine, was extremely responsive throughout the booking and stay process and was always looking to provide a 5-star experience. The cabin is located ~ 15 minutes from the historic part of Harper’s Ferry and ~ 15 minutes from Charlestown, where you can get essentials, like groceries. This location was perfect for us, as we wanted access to those places, while still enjoying the charm of the cabin and the outdoors. Our favorite aspects were the sunroom off the back of the house, where we did yoga and let our dog run around while it rained, the hot tub, which was very clean and properly maintained, and the kitchen, where we prepared a lot of our meals during our trip. We highly recommend this property if you are looking for a cabin in the woods in West Virginia!

My partner and I stayed for 2 nights and loved our time at Cozy Bear. We're based in DC and really enjoyed the location, cleanliness of the cabin, and overall amenities. We cooked meals in the large kitchen -- had everything we needed. The bedrooms and bathrooms were perfect. Really enjoyed the outdoor hot tub during a cold January night. Overall the cabin was great, close to fun hikes, and Jasmine was super nice/easy to communicate with. Five star stay and we will be booking again.

We spent a long weekend there in the Fall, and the location was beautiful. We had a very relaxing time, enjoying much needed peace and solitude (and the hot tub and fire pit on the deck). The entire cabin was well stocked with any and everything you needed, and the kitchen was modern with all new appliances, making it easy to prepare our meals.Jasmine and Nate (Hosts) did an excellent job communicating with us. They provided an excellent list of things to do and places to eat. We had a small issue with the hot tub and Nate came to the cabin quickly and resolved it and even gave us a bottle of wine. It was nice having a Host that lived nearby. We are looking forward to staying at the cabin again.Bill & Vicki

The cabin had what we were looking for. It was super clean, the kitchen had everything we needed, even spices and coffee. The washer, dryer, refrigerator, stove, and dishwasher seemed all very new. The beds were comfortable with lots of extra blankets for those cold nights. Bathrooms had nice supply of shampoo/conditioner/soaps and other supplies. Wifi worked well and plenty of places to charge. While other homes were close by, it was still very private. Best part was the hot tub! Although we didn't use the fire pits, they were available to us. We did some good hiking around the area and even accessed the Appalachian Trail. Owners were extremely accessible for any of our needs.

We loved the place. Jasmine was communicative, she added a personal welcome sign, and the place and area was dog-friendly. Everything in the house was easily labeled and available to us, and the location was perfect. We felt like it was a true getaway but only 20 minutes from so many shops and activities. We played board games and enjoyed the deck and the grill.

Such a cute place and so comfortable for our family - we only had a small group of us this trip (3 humans, plus 2 dogs : ) but we would have been very comfortable with a larger group - a lot of space for hanging out, the kitchen is well stocked and spacious. We have rented a lot of places for vacations, and this was by far the most well-appointed we've ever stayed at. Everything was clean and well-maintained, with plenty of towels and other essentials. Owners extremely accommodating with great attention to detail!

Well appointed cabin with all the kitchen necessities. Nice extra touches like coffee and spices. Comfortable beds. The location worked well to visit National Parks, DC, and also family in the area. Close to many excellent vineyards. Lots of fun bear decor.

The cabin had everything we needed for a wonderful, relaxing vacation to reconnect with our adult children. We were amazed at all the amenities and the attention to detail. We enjoyed evenings in the hot tub, grilling, and relaxing with games by the firepit on the back deck. In the mornings we watched the deer and their fawns wander through the backyard. We highly recommend this cabin. While we stayed with all adults, it is very appropriate for children also.

We very much enjoyed our mid-week September stay in the Cozy Bear Cabin. The cabin is spacious, tastefully decorated, clean, and well-stocked with essentials like towels, kitchen appliances and hardware, etc. The cabin has central air, which was critical during the heat wave we experienced, as well as modern technology upgrades, like smart TV and remote control fans and lighting. The cabin is also pet-friendly, which allowed us to bring our dog along for the journey. Simple pet amenities were provided, like a food and water bowl stand, which was greatly appreciated. The host, Jasmine, was extremely responsive throughout the booking and stay process and was always looking to provide a 5-star experience. The cabin is located ~ 15 minutes from the historic part of Harper’s Ferry and ~ 15 minutes from Charlestown, where you can get essentials, like groceries. This location was perfect for us, as we wanted access to those places, while still enjoying the charm of the cabin and the outdoors. Our favorite aspects were the sunroom off the back of the house, where we did yoga and let our dog run around while it rained, the hot tub, which was very clean and properly maintained, and the kitchen, where we prepared a lot of our meals during our trip. We highly recommend this property if you are looking for a cabin in the woods in West Virginia!

My partner and I stayed for 2 nights and loved our time at Cozy Bear. We're based in DC and really enjoyed the location, cleanliness of the cabin, and overall amenities. We cooked meals in the large kitchen -- had everything we needed. The bedrooms and bathrooms were perfect. Really enjoyed the outdoor hot tub during a cold January night. Overall the cabin was great, close to fun hikes, and Jasmine was super nice/easy to communicate with. Five star stay and we will be booking again.

What a jewel this property is! We held our annual cousins weekend at this "beary" cute cabin at the end of June! The home was very clean, fully equipped, and was exactly as described on VRBO. The host was second to none! She maintained excellent communication from the time we rented, through our arrival and until we checked out! She provided us with great information about the local area and was spot on in her restaurant reviews! I would add that the community is so quiet and the wildlife (especially the deer) were all around! It was truly spectacular!This sweet cabin was a comfy home base for our group as we ventured out to take in the local sights!

My family of 5 visited this cabin in May to celebrate a graduation and have a stay-cation. We also brought our cat and dog who were welcome. From check in to check out, this cabin has it all. It is beautiful and wonderful and stocked with literally every modern appliance you could think of. I especially enjoyed the coffee pot that I never had to fill (it was directly tied to a water line). It is the perfect home away from home.The communication with the owners was always open. They checked on us to make sure we were satisfied. They literally thought of everything from the smoothest check-in, to labelled cabinets to a manual that explains how to operate anything and everything to a guest book which you can fill in to share your experience with them and others. Just pack a bag and enjoy. We had the BEST TIME. We spent time outdoors which was quiet and relaxing. We enjoyed the indoors watching television, sitting around both firepits, and lastly soaking in the jacuzzi. There is nothing more that could be added. It is also very convenient to visit Harpers Ferry, the national park where we love to hike and lower town which is one of our favorite places to visit. You literally have a wealth of historical sites within driving distance.

The property was exactly as advertised. It was very clean. The supplies, such as toilet paper, kleenex, etc. lasted our entire stay. We saw deer every day, which we enjoyed. the area was beautiful. We would definitely stay there again if in this area.
