What a lovely lodge in a lovely setting.Myself, my wife and my dog spent 4 nights here. We parked up and didn't use the car again, although there are places to visit not far away. The lodge was clean and comfortable, everything you could need to do some cooking, which we did. We didn't use any of the onsite facilities as we spent most of the day out walking with the dog. There are lots of stunning walks right on the doorstep. We are hoping to use the lodge again next year depending on availability. Would highly recommend.

Lodge is beautifully decorated and comfortable. The only slight negative is the on-site pool is far too small for the size of the park. 3 families in it and it’s full.

Located in Ambleside, this cottage is in a rural area. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Lake Windermere and Ullswater. Cocoa Hearts and The Herdy Shop are also worth visiting.
