Really nice property, something for everyone. Great views, we watched the USS Nimitz come in and dock, plenty of dining options, and loved the firepit. Clean and fun.

The home is beautiful! Lots of room for all of us! The kitchen and dining area are perfect for a large family to gather with patio for days!!!!! Lots of stairs, just be warned! Extra laundry area on floor 1 and 2!. Would recommend a bench to sit on when you put your shoes on at the door! I will love to come back here again with more family! Thank you for a perfect stay!!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the BayAway in Port Orchard. Plenty of space, very comfortable beds, and clean surroundings enhanced our family vacation. Ample room for 5 vehicles, and many attractions in the area drew us to them. We especially enjoyed the smaller of the two bakeries downtown. The kitchen facilities were complete, and the BBQ grill was excellent. Wish we could have stayed a few days more!

Ample room for 5 vehicles, and many attractions in the area drew us to them. We especially enjoyed the smaller of the two bakeries downtown. Location is awesome with views of the harbor and ease of getting to downtown. (Be aware that there is sound from the busy road in front. However it didn’t really bother us.) Host is super responsive. The house is great with a big kitchen and well stocked with pantry staples. Bedrooms/bathrooms are separated on 3 levels so it was nice for our 3 couples to spread out. We used the deck fire pit one evening. And the dining room table fits a large group. Had a wonderful stay!!

Our stay started with great communication from Melissa, she was welcoming, helpful and accommodating to our requests. Home was well taken care of, furnished and updated. Plenty of space for our family to have room to stretch out, play and relax. Accommodations were comfortable and thought out. The bay away is right next to the road but felt quiet throughout the visit. The weather wasn’t super cooperative but the deck looked wonderful to use. Location was an easy ferry ride in from the city and a short drive away a waterfront shopping area. Enjoyed the waterfront trail for a run. Was a great trip, if we stay in port orchard again this will be at the top of the list!

This property exceed our expectations. Everything from the welcome gift, helpful folder to answer all questions, the well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and linens, and spacious areas to spend time with family and friends. We enjoyed our morning coffee and evening cocktails on the deck enjoying the views. We will definitely book again.

Spacious house, well-equipped with open kitchen, dining and entertainment area on the main floor. Plenty of room and accommodation for a family gathering. Nice view of the bay. The weather was wet and cold, so we were unable to take advantage of the huge wrap around deck.

Beautiful location with lots to do, easy access to other ports and Seattle. Depending on what you want to do, you may not need a car. 1 week was not enough. Very spacious and exceptionally clean house with amenities including toiletries, paper products and coffee to name a few, making traveling easier and very much appreciated. A lot of thought and special touches making it comfortable and enjoyable. Great Host!

Absolutely as advertised! Four golfing friends who enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. We understand why it gets 10 Star reviews. Very clean, comfortable and less than 10” to several great golf courses. Melissa was fantastic in communication regarding any questions. We all loved it!

Melissa was a awesome host, great communication the whole time! Place was amazing, and beautiful. Very clean. Highly recommend it, I’ll definitely book this place ever time I fly up there. I chose this home since it was “centrally” located between Sequim and Gig Harbor. We enjoyed our stay, the only issue we had was a bit of noise from the basement and the main floor walking around. The house was well appointed with everything you could need. We all enjoyed our stay and would probably stay again.

The house was very spacious and accommodated our family of 6 nicely. There were beautiful views of the mountains and the marina and town was an easy 5 minute walk. Our host was very kind and personable and responded quickly to any of our inquiries. We had a lovely stay.

We loved this home by the Bay! The sunsets on the water with the mountains in the background were beautiful. This home is a great place for a family of four or more to stay. The bedrooms are spread out around the house and the beds are super comfortable. It’s clean and nicely decorated inside. Communication with the property manager was super easy. We highly recommend this place!

Such a great place- so much room and space for everyone. There were 6 of us and with 3 levels to the home, everyone had room. The house was fully stocked, had a large table for our board games and plenty of room in the living room for everyone to gather and watch a movie. We did contact the property manager and her responses were quick and helpful. I would highly recommend this place.

Check in was simple. The hostess was in contact with us whenever we needed and made our stay that much easier. If we needed anything she was quick to answer. The kitchen is probably outfitted better than your own kitchens at home! We lacked for nothing. There were 3 of us, and 4 bedrooms, so when we came home tired from our workshop we could go to our rooms and hang out without bothering anyone else in the house. The house is beautifully appointed with a nautical theme and we were very comfortable. Amenities and restaurants were near at hand.

Very nice VRBO. I would definitely recommend staying here. The only downfall is the road noise which other individuals have stated in their review Melissa was very friendly and was very responsive when contacting her.

Beautiful location with lots to do, easy access to other ports and Seattle. Depending on what you want to do, you may not need a car. 1 week was not enough. Very spacious and exceptionally clean house with amenities including toiletries, paper products and coffee to name a few, making traveling easier and very much appreciated. A lot of thought and special touches making it comfortable and enjoyable. Great Host!

Our family enjoyed this hidden gem with a view. Very well stocked spacious home. Melissa, the host communicates very well during and before your stay. Clean house with a great location to downtown Port Orchard. Highly recommend ❤️

Location is awesome with views of the harbor and ease of getting to downtown. (Be aware that there is sound from the busy road in front. However it didn’t really bother us.) Host is super responsive. The house is great with a big kitchen and well stocked with pantry staples. Bedrooms/bathrooms are separated on 3 levels so it was nice for our 3 couples to spread out. We used the deck fire pit one evening. And the dining room table fits a large group. Had a wonderful stay!!

The house was very spacious and accommodated our family of 6 nicely. There were beautiful views of the mountains and the marina and town was an easy 5 minute walk. Our host was very kind and personable and responded quickly to any of our inquiries. We had a lovely stay.

This house far exceeded our expectations!! Perfect location for any kind of day trips and the views are great!! Little road noise if outside but you do not hear when inside. Would definitely stay here again!!!

Absolutely as advertised! Four golfing friends who enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. We understand why it gets 10 Star reviews. Very clean, comfortable and less than 10” to several great golf courses. Melissa was fantastic in communication regarding any questions. We all loved it!

Such a great place- so much room and space for everyone. There were 6 of us and with 3 levels to the home, everyone had room. The house was fully stocked, had a large table for our board games and plenty of room in the living room for everyone to gather and watch a movie. We did contact the property manager and her responses were quick and helpful. I would highly recommend this place.

Check in was simple. The hostess was in contact with us whenever we needed and made our stay that much easier. If we needed anything she was quick to answer. The kitchen is probably outfitted better than your own kitchens at home! We lacked for nothing. There were 3 of us, and 4 bedrooms, so when we came home tired from our workshop we could go to our rooms and hang out without bothering anyone else in the house. The house is beautifully appointed with a nautical theme and we were very comfortable. Amenities and restaurants were near at hand.

This property checks all the boxes in terms of ease of booking and communication, amenities and considerations included, and just a phenomenal home and layout overall. We were in town for my husband’s military promotion and had plenty of room to spread out with us, our 2 young children, and husband’s parents. The kitchen is well-stocked with everything we needed to make family meals, and the bathrooms even had toiletries available. This is our number one pick ever, coming from a family that travels 3-4 times per year and always stays in vacation homes. We loved it, and will definitely select this one again if we return to the area!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the BayAway in Port Orchard. Plenty of space, very comfortable beds, and clean surroundings enhanced our family vacation. Ample room for 5 vehicles, and many attractions in the area drew us to them. We especially enjoyed the smaller of the two bakeries downtown. The kitchen facilities were complete, and the BBQ grill was excellent. Wish we could have stayed a few days more!

This property exceed our expectations. Everything from the welcome gift, helpful folder to answer all questions, the well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and linens, and spacious areas to spend time with family and friends. We enjoyed our morning coffee and evening cocktails on the deck enjoying the views. We will definitely book again.

Spacious house, well-equipped with open kitchen, dining and entertainment area on the main floor. Plenty of room and accommodation for a family gathering. Nice view of the bay. The weather was wet and cold, so we were unable to take advantage of the huge wrap around deck.

This house was great for our family and a friends visit. Plenty of space on 3 levels. It was very well stocked and comfortable. The weather was not conducive to enjoy the outside area but it looked great. Beds were great and all was clean. I’d recommend this house and stay there again.

Our stay at The BayAway was wonderful from start to finish! It provided the perfect landing spot for our three families to stay while we visited our dad in the area, with each family getting an entire floor to themselves. There was tons of privacy as well as shared living space, and we enjoyed meals around the huge dining table that seated all 8 of us. Melissa was a spectacular host with the best communication of any VRBO I've stayed in, and made sure we had all the information we needed at every point before, during and after our stay. Port Orchard is a charming town, and we all enjoyed the many shops and restaurants. But honestly, we were quite happy to just stay at the house which had an incredible view of the waterfront!We look forward to returning on our next visit to see our dad!
