For the price, and the fact that they are dog friendly, the room was satisfactory. The bed was comfortable, the air conditioner, fridge & microwave all worked! The staff were all friendly & helpful. There were a couple families there that looked like they were living out of their cars & one of them had no care that they dented our car door. There was a lot of smoking of marijuana, which wafted up to our room. There was also loud arguing. The property definitely needs updating. We would not stay here again, but might try a Red Roof Inn elsewhere.

Staff was friendly and the nightly rate is very reasonable. The single room was smaller than I was expecting, maybe because I was in a corner near a utility closet. Because I was in the corner, it was quiet and nobody walked by. There was a soft spot in the floor of the bathroom, but the shower was fine in terms of cleanliness and water pressure. The AC was loud but effective. There were about 40 channels on TV. I was considering bringing my dogs but there is a pet policy allowing only one animal per room.

I should’ve took a picture of the vending machine. Bag of Fritos was the only snack item to pick from. Lol My electronic key card stopped working the next morning. I told the office about it and she said it was supposed to stop working in the morning, you only paid for 1 night. lol

Tv remote didnt work , hair dryer didnt work , we had 3 adults and 1 child , but were only alowed 2 bath towels . The pool was nice but the stairs to get in were very slippery . 3 people fell getting in , including me. I really expected more paying 115 per night . Very disappointed in our stay . We will not be staying at red roof again .

The queen beds are actually full size beds. Our AC unit made the most horrific, loud noise which made it difficult to sleep and you could hear it all the way down the openair corridor. They eventually had someone come and fix it after we requested a new room or a refund. The lighting is awful and our bedroom area light kept strobing, which was not relaxing at all. There was also no elevator to bring our very heavy belongings up to the second floor. If there had been other open hotels at a doable price, we would have switched. Usually I would say you get what you pay for and the hotel was cheap, but in this case, we didn’t even get that.

Dirty floors and surfaces Carpet areas were wet and sticky Refrigerator was moldy and dirty Shower was stained and dirty Bathroom floor was bubbled up and dirty. Sink drained slowly and was in useable We stayed two nights I asked that the room be cleaned the first morning. Towels were picked up fresh towels dropped on the sink, bed was pulled up but not changed or made up. No room amenities replaced. Refrigerator remained the same. Floors remained dirty nothing else was touched.

When my wife and I crawled in bed, we both rolled downhill to the center of the bed!! We could not lay flat at all, rather slanting into the middle I spilled water on the rug around the bed, when I took a towel to pat it dry, the towel turned brown. Disgusting.

The hotel was absolutely filthy and downright disgusting! Management will not communicate with you. We were given a room that wasn’t clean at all, someone’s dirty underwear were left behind the bathroom door and there were beans and rice in the dresser drawers, toilet seat broken, sink cracked, electrical wires hanging out of the wall exposed,and best of all the hair dryer literally caught on fire when I turned it on, mold onthe chair, heat doesn’t go above 78 blowing cool air, bedding was filthy! Worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. The health department needs to inspect every room. We took lots of photos and videos.

We have stayed here before so i knew the rooms were outdated but before it was cleaner and it seemed decent. But now it was just ok like I wouldn’t want to stay there again. It was quite except we heard they high way traffic every so often, not a huge deal if you could use the tv to drown the sound out. The tv didnt work we informed the front desk and they were going to send a “technician” up and they never did. The bed comforter had burn holes in our non smoking room. The towels were clean but stained up. It had trash behind the mini fridge and an empty toilet paper roll on the floor in the bathroom all upon checking in. The floor turned my clean white socks dirty. And it was dusty. But positive we didn’t see any bugs of any kind and it was a place to keep us dry and let us sleep.

I had a slight leak in the bathroom but was delt with and as a gesture of good will i received a partial refund for the inconvenience which was much appreciated.this was my 5th time staying here and i will most def return. Front desk manager and staff were very helpful.

Convenient location, good value for a night's rest. The room itself was clean, but there was considerable damage to the bathroom door--the frame looked like the door was kicked in at some point. Walking distance to Rooster's and White Castle, and relatively quiet area. Having a mini-kitchen in the room was nice, but not used due to just being there for the night. The property could use a little improvements/renovations, but overall nothing that would prevent me from coming back if need-be.

I was a little skeptical because of the price and the area but we were actually pretty pleased with our stay. Our room was spacious and newly renovated. i stayed in a remodeled room and it was clean and very acceptable. I did expect breakfast but there was only juice and lemonade. They are currently still remodeling rooms. I believe once they complete the process the hotel will be nice place to stay

They advertised that there would be complimentary breakfast. There was not any breakfast, and we did not know until the next morning when we went for breakfast. All bathroom floors were warped, and I don't believe the bathrooms were cleaned at all. We had to wash the slimy soap scum from the shower ourselves and there was dirty stuff (not sure what it was) trapped in the bathtub floor mat. The microwave was also broken, it would not spin. The floors were sticky by the refrigerator. I do like the friendliness of the check-in staff. They were all very kind and awesome.

I should’ve took a picture of the vending machine. Bag of Fritos was the only snack item to pick from. Lol My electronic key card stopped working the next morning. I told the office about it and she said it was supposed to stop working in the morning, you only paid for 1 night. lol

There was a smell of pet urine and bleach in the room. The bathtub was dirty (actual dirt stuck to the bottom and dried/hardened shampoo or conditioner) the bath mat had dirt stains and the bathroom vanity had blood on it. The vending machine only had Fritos and Dr. Pepper…. But you couldn’t purchase it….

They accommodated my need for a first floor room late at night due to accessibility needs, and for that I appreciate. However the previous patron’s trash had not been removed from the room, there was no shower head, latch was broken off the door, and clearly water had gotten into the room from the recent rains because it smelled musty. There was also water on the floor. I was too tired to change rooms at that point. That being said- the room served the purpose of a safe place to sleep when I became too tired to drive and the bed was comfortable.

The lobby was nice. And the property looked decent, but my room was less than desirable. It had a "deadbolt" but it looked as though, at some point, it had been busted out and reattached, as a chunk of the door was missing. To the point where I could see daylight through the door. I also had to run across the street to buy a blow dryer because there wasn't one in the room. I don't know. It felt old, a bit grimey, and (for a solo female traveler) a tiny bit unsafe with the amount of people sort of loitering around the property. I travel to Columbus twice a month, but I probably won't stay again.
