I booked the cabin for a short weekend stay in Cheboygan. The cabin was a very good accommodation for myself and would have been comfortable for two people. The cabin is new and in very good condition. There is also a cozy outdoor area next to the cabin for meals and a campfire.

Stayed here on our first leg of our 16 day honeymoon… headed to rustic campground next. Absolutely Adorable! Great set up! Extremely clean, could smell the fresh paint. Loved that we were the only ones on property. 10/10 recommend for a single, couple or family with one small child. The back patio is set up perfectly for bonfires, careful as fire ring is metal and gets super hot! Water is quality and drinkable from tap. Shower is a bit tight, but manageable, excellent water pressure and comes with soap, shampoo and conditioner! We will def stay again if we head that direction! I’ll post pics if I can figure out how!

Arrived late at night, they have lights down the path that are motion activated which was a great touch. Very cute and clean cabin to stay in, I would recommend staying here. I’d rate it 10 stars if I could!

Quiet and serene. Cute tiny home type cabin. Decorated super cute. We were may be the 2nd or 3rd people to stay here. Everything you need is there so you can make a meal inside or out. Nice fire pit with chairs. We absolutely loved the little porch. Water pressure is amazing! I would definitely stay again. Perfect for a couple to get away. Close to a lot of amenities.

Great place and the owners are very responsive to any questions. Cozy cabin in a very quiet, secluded area away from the main roads. Nice size bedroom and cozy kitchen with sitting room. Awesome front porch. The unit includes a nice fire pit, outdoor BBQ and they provide the charcoal, which was nice. There is a window AC in the unit which worked great to cool down inside and it was mid 90s when I arrived. About 20 minutes to Cheboygan and 30 minutes to the bridge. I would definitely stay here again.

This cabin is just right for two people. It's so quiet in the woods with just one other cabin nearby but far enough apart to feel like you're by yourselves. Had everything we needed. Small kitchen but very suitable for cooking meals. Grilling supplies (including charcoal and starter fluid)made it easy to grill out. Nice little porch to enjoy coffee in the morning. I would recommend for anyone who looks for a quiet place away from the action.

We were in town for a birthday party and the rental was exactly what we needed. A hideaway in the woods. Exactly as described in the post. Cell service is spotty because of the woods but there was wifi for that issue. There was a 2nd cabin down the driveway a bit but we never heard a peep outside. The hosts communicated well after booking the rental a month or so ago. A few days before arriving we received all the check-in information. Reassuring us we had booked the rental for the correct weekend. The rental has plenty of room for 2 people. With a small kitchen area and living room. The bedroom is spacious and has a split unit HVAC unit in it. The only thing we had a bit of an issue with was the shower. It is a single stall standup shower with amazing water pressure though that leads to about a 10-15 minute shower total between 2 of us before it was getting cold. And my tiny girlfriend bumped her head on the soap dispenser no less than 3 times in her 5 minute shower before bed. Not a huge problem for me just wanted to make a note of it This place is as described, though it doesn't mention anything about all the cool lights at night around the exterior and fire pit. Very awesome touch when coming back in the dark or stayingoput to watch the stars. Would highly recommend if you are out this way.

The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed for a most comfortable stay. We didn't spend any time around a fire outside but the set up out there was amazing; hanging lights and even solar tiki torches!! We'd defnitely stay here again :)

This is the second time we stayed here while visiting friends at Aloha State Park. Very clean and convenient. Dawn answered right away when we had a couple of questions. Property is thoughtfully illuminated at night. Would definitely return again.

A most enjoyable stay. Pleasantly surprised by the roominess and the cleanliness. A very nice location close to Cheboygan. Very nicely landscaped and decorated so you fell comfortable.

We really enjoyed our stay at this cozy little cottage and the accommodations were exceptional! Definitely recommend this for anyone that likes a little rustic charm mixed with modern amenities. The cabin was very well decorated and exceptionally clean. Hats off to the hosts for a great experience!

The cabin is in pristine condition, and they thought of everything! - even bug spray. It's perfect for a quiet getaway. Our family was camping at a nearby campground, so the commute was easy. If you want to explore the nearby towns, they are only about 10 miles away to Cheboygan or Indian River. Will definitely recommend to family and friends.

The wife and I were looking for a cute place to stay for the night on our way home and this little house could not have been more perfect. Beautifully decorated, well thought out, it made for a comfortable and quiet stay. Everything you could need is here wrapped up in a tiny package.

This small space has so much to offer. It's perfect for one person or a couple and, it is the cleanest, best decorated places I've ever stayed. It's close to to lots of stuff, or a great option while traveling to the UP.

This is a cozy cottage in the woods. The kitchen was well supplied with equipment, and even had basic food, like coffee, sugar and spices. There are two upholstered chairs in front of the large screen TV, with very decent cable service. (It even had Netflix!) The toilet was somewhat private in a nook off the bathroom. The mattress was very comfortable, so much so that we asked the owner for the brand, as we may buy one like it for our own home. The lighting throughout was bright, making it easy to read, since it was cold and rainy for much of the week we were there. The water tasted fresh, unlike that in some wells. The heating/ cooling is controlled by a handheld device, and it works very well. We were always comfortable. Our only disappointment was that the kitchen table was small, but we were able to accept that in view of the many positive things the cottage had. Best of all, the owner was easily accessible. The place is hard to find, and our iPhone GPS was confused, so we called her and she answered immediately. A second time when we needed guidance, she was there. That to me is the sign of a responsible, caring owner. I would highly recommend this place for a nice, quiet getaway.

This quaint little cabin was a perfect little getaway for my wife and I celebrating our 27th Wedding Anniversary. The cabin is very clean and had everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The hosts have thought about every little detail which made the short stay very enjoyable. The hosts were very engaged from a communication standpoint which was much appreciated. We were out and about quite a bit, so would love to rebook this cabin in the future to spend more time relaxing and enjoying the property. Five Stars all around!

Check-in process was super easy! Great little cabin getaway. Will be back and bring my sxs! Is close to trails and black lake if looking for boating as well. Also would be awesome for a couples get away. Did not get to use the cabin the full stay had to work last minute after the wedding I was going too. But in conclusion I will definitely stay again!

Great place to reflect on Gods perfect creation, and His amazing Grace. And for us The trail is just down the road. Enjoyed biking on the paths, and close enough to Mackinac Island for a day ride about the island. The hosts were great.

This is a cozy cottage in the woods. The kitchen was well supplied with equipment, and even had basic food, like coffee, sugar and spices. There are two upholstered chairs in front of the large screen TV, with very decent cable service. (It even had Netflix!) The toilet was somewhat private in a nook off the bathroom. The mattress was very comfortable, so much so that we asked the owner for the brand, as we may buy one like it for our own home. The lighting throughout was bright, making it easy to read, since it was cold and rainy for much of the week we were there. The water tasted fresh, unlike that in some wells. The heating/ cooling is controlled by a handheld device, and it works very well. We were always comfortable. Our only disappointment was that the kitchen table was small, but we were able to accept that in view of the many positive things the cottage had. Best of all, the owner was easily accessible. The place is hard to find, and our iPhone GPS was confused, so we called her and she answered immediately. A second time when we needed guidance, she was there. That to me is the sign of a responsible, caring owner. I would highly recommend this place for a nice, quiet getaway.

We were in town for a birthday party and the rental was exactly what we needed. A hideaway in the woods. Exactly as described in the post. Cell service is spotty because of the woods but there was wifi for that issue. There was a 2nd cabin down the driveway a bit but we never heard a peep outside. The hosts communicated well after booking the rental a month or so ago. A few days before arriving we received all the check-in information. Reassuring us we had booked the rental for the correct weekend. The rental has plenty of room for 2 people. With a small kitchen area and living room. The bedroom is spacious and has a split unit HVAC unit in it. The only thing we had a bit of an issue with was the shower. It is a single stall standup shower with amazing water pressure though that leads to about a 10-15 minute shower total between 2 of us before it was getting cold. And my tiny girlfriend bumped her head on the soap dispenser no less than 3 times in her 5 minute shower before bed. Not a huge problem for me just wanted to make a note of it This place is as described, though it doesn't mention anything about all the cool lights at night around the exterior and fire pit. My husband and I feel so fortunate to have found and stayed in this beautiful cabin. The setting, location, and amenities were perfect for us. This cabin is well thought out in terms of layout and decor. The attention to detail was so nice! As to location we were not far from Cheboygan, Mullett Lake, Black Lake, etc. The owner was in frequent communication with us to make sure we had no issues. The online pictures are beautiful, but seeing the cabin and property in person was even better! We aren't new to the area and we visited many favorite places including restaurants. We will definitely return to this beautiful cabin in the woods!

This is the second time we stayed here while visiting friends at Aloha State Park. Very clean and convenient. Dawn answered right away when we had a couple of questions. Property is thoughtfully illuminated at night. Would definitely return again.

The Garden Cottage is amazing! Very clean and organized. Hosts were welcoming and even made a special trip to bring us sugar and creamer for the coffee they had provided. No wi-fi and very little cell phone service was challenging but not a deal breaker. Would visit again.

The cabin is in pristine condition, and they thought of everything! - even bug spray. It's perfect for a quiet getaway. Our family was camping at a nearby campground, so the commute was easy. If you want to explore the nearby towns, they are only about 10 miles away to Cheboygan or Indian River. Will definitely recommend to family and friends.

I booked the cabin for a short weekend stay in Cheboygan. The cabin was a very good accommodation for myself and would have been comfortable for two people. The cabin is new and in very good condition. There is also a cozy outdoor area next to the cabin for meals and a campfire.

Quiet and serene. Cute tiny home type cabin. Decorated super cute. We were may be the 2nd or 3rd people to stay here. Everything you need is there so you can make a meal inside or out. Nice fire pit with chairs. We absolutely loved the little porch. Water pressure is amazing! I would definitely stay again. Perfect for a couple to get away. Close to a lot of amenities.

This little cabin hand everything we needed, amd was absolutely adorable! We only stayed one night but I could have easily stayed a week. We were in the area to visit Torch Lake, which really is as beautiful and carribean blue like the photos you see online.

The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed for a most comfortable stay. We didn't spend any time around a fire outside but the set up out there was amazing; hanging lights and even solar tiki torches!! We'd defnitely stay here again :)

The Garden Cottage is amazing! Very clean and organized. Hosts were welcoming and even made a special trip to bring us sugar and creamer for the coffee they had provided. No wi-fi and very little cell phone service was challenging but not a deal breaker. Would visit again.

This was our second time staying in this quaint little cabin in the woods. It was just how we remembered it from two years ago. Perfect little place for a couple spending time in the straights area. The hosts truly have thought about every little thing! 10/10
