Loved their cookies in the lobby. Friendly staff and cleanliness of the hotel. The elevator seems kind of noisy and needs maintenance. The pool and hot tub were smaller than I thought. The pool area could use some renovations/ updating. But overall a wonderful hotel and we would visit again!

The pool was closed for renovations, so the kids were bummed. The air conditioner stopped working on the 2nd night. They tried to fix it and when they couldn’t, they gave us a fan, replaced it with a brand new unit the following day, and didn’t charge us for that night without being pressured to do so, which was very nice. Despite the problems, overall it was a nice stay, and I would consider staying there again.

The receptionist was not helpful. I assumed breakfast was part of my stay. It wasn’t and that was fine so I paid 20 dollars extra for a bagel - I asked if it was going to take a lot of time for me to pay and she said no, to stand there for an extra 10 minutes delaying my departure. I was there for special training at the Usps facility in White Plains. I will never use this facility again. The pool was cloudy (which was why I picked this hotel) and the hot tub was broken.. So the twenty dollar bagel and long check out was just another inconvenience

Liked having a restaurant in the hotel. Friendly staff. The interior was a bit dated and the carpets not that clean but the rooms were clean. Liked that the floors had microwaves although I only had a mini fridge in the room Room was a bit dark. The only issue I was was the parking lot was full of trash scattered all around. Hotel needs to clean this up as it detracts from the overall look of the facilities.

For the price, it is not a good option. People were nice, the room was nice. One f the elevators was broken and the remaining one was super slow. We spent 10 minutes waiting with our luggage and gave up, took the stairs. The stairs were dirty and full of inventory, apparently they have no storage space. Stains in hallway carpets and a general sense of disrepair didn't help. This is not what a Sheraton is supposed to be. So no, for the price, I wouldn't recommend it.

I wish I could add photos of the disgustingness I experienced. Blood stained towels, dark black hairs in bed and “clean” towels. Garbage still in the can in our room. Absolutely disgusting pool area. I felt legitimately unwell that I left less than two hours into my stay and was denied any form a refund or compensation when I called the next day. Such a bummer to experience as a Marriott Bonvoy member.

We had always stayed at another hotel in sleepy hollow…never again. This hotel was excellent. It was clean, staff was friendly, and it was actually much more convenient to downtown sleep my hollow than the other place. Liquid hand soap…laugh, but so much nicer than a gross bar of soap. Everything smelled nice. Also, I had bought some speciality pastries and could not fit them in our mini fridge. The hotel held onto it for us until we checked out. I would highly recommend this place! We didn’t have a dog, but clearly it’s pet friendly since we saw a bunch of dogs there. Also, there is a Real Starbucks behind the check in area. Very convenient.

The 2 Queen bed room we stayed in on the 5th floor was very spacious! It was fantastic. The ice machine was very convenient. We loved the Starbucks being downstairs in the lobby and the grocery store close by. This was a very comfortable stay!

The facility was clean and was quiet for the most part. The air conditioner in the room was noisy. The bathroom was clean and updated but the light for the bathroom was out in the hallway, behind the door to the bathroom which was awkward. The room was not well lit. There are lamps but no overhead light and the lamps were not very helpful. The big windows offered light, but not quite enough. The staff was friendly but scant. The room was always tidied when we were out but the replacement of coffee was odd.. They would leave three packets of coffee usually two caff and one decaf.. but presumably with two people in the room you'd think they'd leave two caff and two decaf.. every day was different. The coffee wasn't bad though. They left packets of sugar, creamer, but little cups of half and half, which you could request in the lobby, were not left. Dried creamer isn't very palatable. The lobby was clean and there is a Starbucks attached to the lobby. They offer a breakfast buffet for $20, but we didn't use it so I can't say if it was good or not. There is a Stop and Shop next to the facility and we bought some food there instead. Very convenient. The hotel is 10 minutes from the Tarrytown Metro North station and the trains run into Manhattan regularly which was great. Parking there can be tough so go early.

Unfortunately, I did not have a great first night here. The 2nd floor room I was originally given was very noisy. All night, I could hear the conversations from the hallway and even the couple that was next to my room. Additionally, the lounge and fitness areas seemed much larger in the pictures than they actually actually were. I was going to check out early, but Karmina at the front desk was genuinely attentive. She offered me a different room on a higher floor which was much quieter. It redeemed my experience of staying at the Sheraton and I wanted to say thank you to Karmina. Overall, I would say the rooms are clean, the bathrooms are updated, and the hotel is good for a short business trip type of stay. Most of the staff were also very courteous. However, it could definitely use some updating in terms of decor, appliances and lounges.

Hotel is decent and location is convenient. Quick check in. Rooms need some care. Bed was stiff (and we like firm beds). Not a lot of space in the room and the bathroom didn't have great lighting.

Poor lighting especially the bathroom. Broken faucet in bathroom sink. Staff responded very quickly and put in new faucet. No convenient outlets in room for charging cell phones or laptops etc. beds were unusually high!

Our room was small and right to the elevator it was noisy. The shower faucet fell out Of the wall on our first night and the smoke detector light flashed continuously. The food and service in the dining room were not worth the $21 we paid every morning as a matter fact we decided to leave and eat elsewhere. Our invoice and Bill were constantly changed from day-to-day and it was a struggle to get the quoted amount charge correctly with expected much better from the Sheraton and this was such a disappointment Later in our trip, we stayed at a comfort Inn in Queens and had a cleaner room much better food and much better service for a far less price

Unfortunately, I did not have a great first night here. The 2nd floor room I was originally given was very noisy. All night, I could hear the conversations from the hallway and even the couple that was next to my room. Additionally, the lounge and fitness areas seemed much larger in the pictures than they actually actually were. I was going to check out early, but Karmina at the front desk was genuinely attentive. She offered me a different room on a higher floor which was much quieter. It redeemed my experience of staying at the Sheraton and I wanted to say thank you to Karmina. Overall, I would say the rooms are clean, the bathrooms are updated, and the hotel is good for a short business trip type of stay. Most of the staff were also very courteous. However, it could definitely use some updating in terms of decor, appliances and lounges.

Liked the easy access to Westchester Airport, Mario Cuomo Bridge, the adjacent grocery store for snacks, toiletries, supplies, etc. Liked that it is pet friendly and has walkable areas for pets. In-room complimentary water, coffee, tea and small frig. Breakfast menu is extremely expensive at $20/pp. Bathroom receptacle was not emptied one day; washcloths not provided in bathroom one day.

Check in staff were very nice and knowledgeable. However, the morning manager KATE, if that is her actual name, hugely unpleasant and unaccommodating. As a retail manager for 10 years, I find that although the customer is not always "right" the customer should be able to find comfort in misunderstanding to no faults of their own. I was given the wrong information from a staff member and KATE showed ZERO compassion for this. I will not be visiting this location again.

Very nice room. Lovely bathroom. Convenient location within walking distance of supermarket and a couple of restaurants. Enjoyable stay. 10 min drive to Westchester mall (very nice mall). 10 min drive to scenic Hudson River walk.

We were in the area to attend an event at Yankee Stadium. Took the train from Tarrytown to get there. Easy. The hotel, in addition to being a nice site, was conveniently located near amenities and other attractions, but also removed from those more congested areas so parking was simple. Perfect for what we were doing.

Liked having a restaurant in the hotel. Friendly staff. The interior was a bit dated and the carpets not that clean but the rooms were clean. Liked that the floors had microwaves although I only had a mini fridge in the room Room was a bit dark. The only issue I was was the parking lot was full of trash scattered all around. Hotel needs to clean this up as it detracts from the overall look of the facilities.

Pretty good hotel. Some rooms need updating. There were no luggage racks. No managers on the weekends. Dining said menu ordering but only cold buffets available. Reserved a two queen bed room but had to take a king size bed room because they were having a wedding and gave my room away.

Bed was a firm board and pillows were so thin they couldnt even prop you up to watch tv. Asked for extras twice at front desk but they never came. The water pressure in the stall shower was awful and it took a long time just to wash my hair. Changing the head dial options did nothing. Dogs are allowed and bark through the halls and at night as if the owners left them to go out. Their in house restaurant menu is very limited and breakfast is a joke, so the Starbucks is very crowded and sells out of food items. It also closes up by 4pm. There's a Stop n Shop grocery in the parking lot so that was convenient, and it's close to the Sleepy Hollow and Tarrytown events. Won't go back.

We loved the Tarrytown Sheraton. I have been to many hotels in this class and this was a cut above. The room was beautifully appointed and spotless. The staff were very helpful. The location was convenient yet set among trees. Nail salon and supermarket adjacent but not visible. Pool was good, hot tub great, pool a bit cold for my husband. Had to pay for breakfast, but food was very good. I highly recommend this hotel.

We had a very nice overnight stay at this Sheraton. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful, the room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The restaurant was ok, nothing special. Drinks were overpriced.

Very disappointing experience at the Sheraton Tarrytown. After checking in, I discovered that the shower was essentially unusable — the drain was not working properly, there was no hot water, and the shower handle was malfunctioning. An engineer came to the room late at night and had to look for parts. At around 11:30 PM, I asked the front desk to move me to another room and was told that no rooms were available. When I called the front desk about the situation, the employee abruptly ended the call after saying he would contact the engineer. What bothered me most was the lack of any real effort to make things right. The next morning, there was still no meaningful gesture or compensation for the inconvenience. I was even told that breakfast was not included. Of course I understand that breakfast may normally cost extra, but after providing a guest with a room without a properly functioning shower, offering breakfast would have been a very simple gesture of goodwill. Maintenance problems can happen. The bigger issue is how a hotel responds when they do. I expected much better service and problem resolution from a Sheraton/Marriott property.
