Days Inn by Wyndham Queensbury/Lake George

Dirty floor. Dark and noisy parking lot. Ice machine broken. Breakfast bar was a joke. My feet got dirty walking on the floor. Will never stay there again.

It looks like they are going through some renovations. I'm sure it will look nice once they are done. The exterior looked a little rough but the rooms were nice.

Looks like they are doing ALOT of renovations they got junk everywhere. The stairs going up to the 2nd level are all different levels so if you are not paying attention and even if you do you could trip. Our room we had to SLAM the door to make sure it shut fully. There room numbers are off. it went room 210 than room 222 than room 212 so a bit confusing. So if your looking for just a quick stay it is fine nothing really wrong.

The door jambs and front door in my room needed scrubbing and painting. The bathroom flr caulk needs a redo as it has in ground dirt. The white towel used to collect bird droppings outside the cust svc window must go! This hotel is overpriced for $120. per day incl tax. The roof needs new shingles and the parking lot needs to be repaved. Entry door door mats need to be replaced. Planters w flowers would also go a long way to create a welcome feeling once all of the other items are remediated. Gordon- rm 109

Doesn’t look like behind bathroom door been cleaned in years..your starring right at it when using toilet. The one time we tried/looked for Light breakfast not there.. Room floor so dirty you had to wipe feet before putting socks on. Blanket so light thought we had 2 sheets. Came back one night room reeked of pot, garbage can was emptied and fresh towels for room. Bed was not made and again floors were not swept. While cleaning (lol) they apparently left the door open and bees were in our room when we returned. There were numerous bees nest in the lamps outside the rooms. Sidewalks from parking lot to building in rear hazardous amateur safety hazardous jokes… I could go on and on.. This from a career as a NY State Building Manager with 20 years of running/keeping clean and safe multiple million square foot office buildings with 2200 to 3000 tenants each building No pictures were taken as I’m sure nothing will come of this survey except we will never stay in another Days Inn!

A good effort to revitalize an aging hotel. Though freshly painted the room had an odor that would not go away. The window was dirty and made you feel like you were in a jail cell. The breakfast was terrible but the coffee was OK. I have been in hospitality for over 25 years and would not go there again. The owners of employee did try but they had a disadvantage because the place was so old.

Stay was okay. Have stayed here before and room was as expected. Only disappointment was that all charging stations not operational so EV had to be charged across the street. Other than that no complaints

The property was working on improvements while we were there, which is great to see that they are continuously working on providing an accommodating place. We would stay here again. Thank you for your time.

The hotel room was so dirty as if they don’t clean certain areas. Specifically the shower, inside the fridge was nasty, and the tray underneath the mini fridge was also nasty. For the shower I had to travel to a nearby Target 12 minutes away from the hotel and buy my own cleaning products to clean the shower. There was other previous customers hair all over the shower, it was visibly dirty and not scrubbed. The grouts look like they had red mold all over them. Unacceptable for how much I paid and they charged me a $100 deposit when I got there. Which I did receive back

Room was dirty and clearly not cleaned in a LONG time. Mirror had toothpaste spit all over it. Shower/tub had someone else's hair in it. The floor of the entire room had dirt and crumbs all over it, and clearly hadn't been swept or mopped in who knows how long. Bed sheets had weird food (I hope?) stains on them. horrible experience.

The EV chargers that were advertised didn't work. The clerk suggested I use the chargers at the hotel across the street. My room was dirty. There was dust on the heater and behind the TV, the floor was dirty enough to collect debris on my socks, there was hair on the towels and on the bed sheets.

Beds comfy and clean but bathroom dirty, trim cracked and falling off. Bed crammed on top of AC. Mildew smell strong

It was the most disgusting room I have ever stayed in, and I have stayed in lean-tos. Sticky, greasy floors. Mold on the bathroom ceiling, brown stuff on walls. Hair everywhere. Towels felt wet. Bathroom was wet upon check-in. Tv had some channels audio only. Tub was a slippery death trap. Sink sprayed water everywhere. Uneven stairs. Aside from the hair and lack of blankets (wrong size top sheets only), the bed was okay. I could continue...

Hair in toilet, hair in tub, tissue scraps on floor, bugs. Bed was well made. Room debris piles in corner of property. Gross place. And i have low standards.

The beds squeaked and very thin blankets. The floors weren't properly cleaned and mopped. The mirror was spotted, the shower curtain was stained of dirt and put om backwards. There was a mouldy smell and the door was very hard to close. We stayed two nights, we tried to book elsewhere but it was full. Will not be staying at another Day's Inn.

I did not like the room. It was filthy, reeked of cigarette smoke. The bed linen did not feel or looked clean. The bed linen looked wrinkled as if the bed was made without the linen being changed. The window in the room was dirty. We had to buy room deodorizer to spray the room and cleaning supplies to clean the television screen which had particles stuck to the screen, the window also was wiped clean. they had a rug on the walkway which looked liked it had not been swept or vacuumed in a while. Was unable to fall asleep because I kept on scratching because I was itching all night. The staging photo looks nothing like what I walked into. This photo is completely misleading. I have stayed at Hiton's and Marriotts hotels and spent way less and were much better than this facility. Thank you in advance,

The 1st room I was put in was covered in black mold over by the door and all around the entire window. The bedding on the bed was dirty and stained. The room was booked for 4 people but we were only given 2 towels and told management wont allow more than that. The 1st room wasnt even equipped with a shower curtain. After the 1st night we went to the desk with our concerns and were gladly moves from that room. The 2nd room was clean for the most part, had a shower curtain. Kudos to management for putting up with 2 couples, but housekeeping may need a double check here and there and mold is not customer friendly.

Front desk was helpful. Ice machine out of order and couldn't get ice from staff. Room layout is strange. One bed is tight to wall and ac unit. Had to crawl in from end of bed. No water pressure in shower

Located right off busy Rte 87, I could hear the traffic whooshing through the night. Perfectly average room, although it was a little cold inside. No towels provided, which seemed odd. Thankfully I had packed a towel for myself in advance. A proper blanket would have been welcome too to ward off the cold, but hey I guess you get what you pay for.

The inn was disgusting. There were stains and hair on the sheets, hair in the sink and drain, and the heater didn’t work so we had to sleep fully clothed. Honestly we preferred it that way anyways because we didn't trust the beds to be clean. The so called complimentary breakfast is just cereal and granola bars. We only stayed one night and it was one too many

The ground outside my door was full of cigarette butts. No soap or towel racks in bathroom. Ironing board but no iron. Hair dryer did not work. No coffee maker as advertised. Went to lobby at 8am for included breakfast but everything was empty and no staff to be found. Went back to lobby at 11 to check out, I asked why there was no breakfast at 8am. She said, "Yes there was." I said no, I walked over to lobby and there was no food or coffee or person at the front desk, just a sign saying "Back soon." Then she said it was because it\'s a holiday (I was here for Thanksgiving). Then a man appeared from the back who told me they don\'t offer breakfast. I asked about the toaster and microwave and empty coffee thermoses and he said those were for guests who bring their own food. It snowed all night and the parking lot still wasn\'t plowed at 11am. I had to load my car while walking through snow. The door to my room was filthy and full of dents like it had been kicked many times. Wifi signal was so weak, i couldn\'t even watch a short video on my phone. The young man who checked me in was nice but asked me 3 times in 4 minutes, "How was your day?" There was a party going on in the office behind the desk. I had booked for 5 nights but left after one. I forgot my Roku streaming stick in the tv (which of didn\'t work because signal was too weak) but hated the place and people too much to go back and get it. This property has ruined the Days Inn name for me. I should have read the reviews!

There were at least 3 different species of bugs/flies crawling and flying around the room. This is likely due to the noticeable gap between the door/hinges & wall and between the door bottom & floor. The a/c unit was hanging off its structure (which I temporarily fixed so it would work without making noise). The linens didn’t appear to be new. Even the towel in the bathroom was ripped. I’ve stayed at places for half the cost that were nicer.

The bed was comfortable but the springs let your neighbors know your every move. Needs some maintenance on miner things. Noisy, too close to highway.

If you just need a place to sleep for a night, it is fine. I wouldn’t recommend an extended stay. The hotel has a weird chemical like smell. The walls seem really thin, could hear the neighbors at 2am and there was a dog somewhere in the hotel that barked at random times throughout the night. The beds were decent. The room was clean enough but they could definitely do better. The location is great, just a few minutes into town and right off of the highway. If you just need a quick and cheap place to crash, it’s perfect.

Staff did not coordinate with late check out. was told I could check out late, then staff was calling my room at 11am trying to charge me for another night. Language barrier

Staff were nice. Room, area around the hotel were a mess. The steps going to the second level were not safe.

Everyone was very nice.

Never got enought towels one 1 towel for 3 people ask multiple times for more. Accused of smoking in the room. Coming into the room after we told them NO. Spraying paint on the ceiling on bathroom while not there. Smell was awful effect my breathing. Some of the stuff was so rude when you spoke to them.

When checking into our room, the door was slightly opened. The bed had been slept on with wrinkled sheets and pillow on the floor. Returned to lobby for new room. Staff did not believe us and went to room to check our concerns. Turns out the door lock was broken and someone had been in the room. We were then checked into a different room and charged again through hotel even though we had initially paid through hotels.com. The new rate was higher than what H. COM charged by 15.64. The new room floor was not clean when I took my shoes off, so when I walked around I kept shoes on. Bed was clean. Room very noisy from cars and other people staying there. Would NOT recommend staying at this hotel! Management but able to solve financial overcharge as was stated it was a security deposit.

Being at Glen Falls hospital with my father, we needed a place to stay late/quickly. I rented this room at 11p checked in at 12a. Service was quick, friendly and such a convenient spot for what we needed in a pinch.

Justin at the front desk was great! He was friendly, helpful, and courteous. The bathroom and sink are was a bit dirty and out dated. The window drape didn’t cover the window all the way so I had to rig it. But…what did I expect for as inexpensive as it was. Again…Justin was fantastic!

Stayed in hotel room for one hour before I had to leave for a family emergency. Tried to get a refund, but the front desk didn't respond to calls from hotels.com or myself. Every time I called, I was forwarded to voicemail. Maybe the hotel should have someone manning the front desk for customer service. Will never book here again!

When we arrived at the property, we entered the lobby to find the manager and a guest in a shouting match, throwing things in a very heated argument, as I stood waiting in rhe lobby. No one knowledge.y presents. After waiting a bit, the argument escalated. I decided to go and wait in my car. I watch through the window, waiting for the argument to end so I could check in. After about 10 mins, I called to cancel my reservation, as I did not feel safe staying here, with this staff and guests arguing.

Nice room, convenient location , very satisfied.

The property was very easy to find right of the highway exit. The parking lot was ample. The staff was helpful and conscientious.

It was more affordable than many places in and around Saratoga Springs. It provided a place to sleep. Being right on the expressway, it was noisy. The room itself gave us what we needed at an affordable price. You don't go there for the comfort.

We chose this hotel because it was affordable and close to Saratoga Performing Arts Center (about 20 minutes north). The staff were very nice. They accommodated our late check in, which we very much appreciated, and they gave us everything we asked for. Unfortunately, the things we had to ask for were clean sheets for both beds because on arrival it was obvious by the dirt and hair on the sheets that neither bed had been changed after the previous guests, and clean towels because housekeeping never checked our room during the entire second day so we returned late at night to a pile of twice used wet towels still under the sink. My bar is set pretty low when I'm booking something in this price range. All I want is a hot shower and a clean bed. Somehow this hotel managed to fall short of even that.

The 5.9 rating for this property was too generous. I would rate it a 4 out of 10. The room was dusty with hair and a bit of trash on the bathroom floor. No soap in the shower or tissues in the room. The AC was inadequate. The breakfast was very meager. The staff was very pleasant and tried to help with the AC. I would not stay again.

Convenience is the strongest point. Easy to find. Breakfast was none existent. They said at check in toast, Danish and cereal would be available and only cereal

Continental breakfast was pathetic - they need to improve that. There were stains and a previous guest wrote the wifi password on the artwork in our room (#119). The room was cheap, but I would have expected a little more from Days Inn.

I never ever leave on-line reviews. Ever. The staff when I got to the motel was awesome; helped me with directions as I am unfamiliar with the area. Outstanding. But.... I went to get some breakfast on Saturday morning, and lo and behold- no food. None. Zero. Ngats. Bupkuss. Like, nothing. I asked the guy behind the counter, is there any food, and he said "no". That's it. Just "no". Not "I'm terribly sorry, sir, my wife hasn't come back from Wegmans yet with the bagels." Just "no". So...this will be the last time I stay at this hotel.

the hotel was clean and simple. Good amount of parking spaces. Easy check-in and check-out. Only downside was there was not much breakfast options, so if you want decent breakfast, its best to go to other breakfast spots. their breakfast was more of a snack.
