The Host was welcoming . The facility was clean and comfortable. The weather was bad and rainy so we didn’t have hot water. however the Host told us to plug in the hot water tank and it was good from there.

The host responded quickly and was helpful. The neighborhood is quiet and restful. Close to restaurants and beach.

Stayed 7 nights

We spent a good 20 minutes attempting to locate the house. After asking the neighbors, circling the neighborhood and chasing down the mailman so he could help us find the address, we finally had to call the owner. For unknown reasons, had given us a different address. The kitchen was bare as was the rest of the house. There were cans of bug spray in almost every cabinet, which made me nervous! Thankfully we did not see any creepy crawlers during our stay.If you plan on cooking or traveling with children, I suggest you stay out of the house until evening and eat out! The air conditioners are only in the bedrooms. The heat in the common areas was unbearable. We attempted to watch television in the living room since it was the only tv in the house, but could not deal with the heat. On our 3rd or 4th day, a blackout occurred. Not the owners fault. But we had to wait over 6 hours for him to respond to the residence since he was working. I totally understood, but he should have a property manager, friend or family member nearby to deal with these unforeseen situations, specially knowing the electrical issues on the island. In the meantime, I went to the store to buy candles to see in the dark, hot house. I found candles in the kitchen cabinets the next day.It appears this gentleman is attempting to conduct an VRBO business, but I'm sorry, we were not prepared to deal with the lack of air conditioners for 7 days and electricity for over 6 hrs.
