We enjoyed our stay. I know the Grand Motel is still under renovation but our room was clean, quiet, great bed and bathroom. It was very convenient to our dragonboat regatta and we were able to leave the car all day - thank you! One suggestion would be to have tables and chairs on the upper deck so guests could sit out and have a picnic or happy hour. It’s the best view of the lake. We would definitely recommend.

Very nice for a motel. We did have a room on second floor which I believe are an upgrade from other rooms. Room was clean and renovated. Very functional room. Modern bathroom. Not much place to store clothes. Otherwise very good. It was quiet. Staff was excellent. Friendly and helpful and always watching for parking lot trespassers as there are not a lot of parking spots. Excellently located in the heart of the action on the lakefront. Good wall unit AC. Good Wifi and big tv.

Clean room, comfortable bed and within walking distance of most shops and restaurants, and within spitting distance of the water/beach. The owner was extremely friendly and accommodating and made excellent recommendations for dining options and coffee shops (Muddy's). The private balcony was tiny but most likely more enjoyable when the weather is warmer. Would stay again.

Ideally suited location with view of the bay and park. Free included parking and comfortable bed. No safe in room however the site was secure. Coffee machine was excellent and loads of captules provided. AC was effective and worked well both heating at night and cooling during the day plenty of towels and good quality soaps provided. Centrally located and check in was easy. Helpfull Staff and 'Dee' always to hand if required Thanks

The family that owns this hotel is so kind and provide excellent service. The hotel is newly renovated and the balcony facing lake that is available to all who stay there is a wonderful place to hang out. Great value.

We were given a very warm welcome by Arash (manager). He checked on us every time he saw us asking if we had what we needed. The property itself was conveniently located and you can walk everywhere with lots of choices of restaurants. The studio room was very spacious and had a small balcony with views of the lake. You couldn’t see the lake when sitting on the couch. The air conditioning was appreciated but it needs to be updated to a heat pump as it was very loud. When it wasn’t on, I could hear the entire conversation of our neighbours who were sitting on their balcony and their voices carried through the air conditioning unit. Sounding like they were in the room with us. We could hear people in the hallways and in the other rooms with doors slamming closed frequently. Parking is an issue! There are only 12 spots. My husband came back from racing his motorbike and all the spots were taken except for the spot near room 102 which apparently is reserved for that room as we were asked to move. Holly called me and told me we couldn’t park there, so we had to park around the back of the building which was also full but she asked the guy selling ice cream to move his vehicle. My husband had to haul all of his gear (making 2 trips) up the flight is stairs into the room. No one parked in this spot the entire time we were there!! Overall, the parking is frustrating and the walls are thin but the room is spacious, updated and convenient.

Very Clean & new. Great Renos. Parking was very tight. Shower floor matt may be required for some, as it was fairly slippery when wet and you had to be careful not to slip. All good.

Everything was great as far as check in, location and unit itself. However we noticed the walls needed a good deep clean. There was food and fingerprints everywhere especially in high touch areas. Everything else was super clean so I think maybe the cleaners just need to be provided more time to get to the walls.

Very courteous at check-in. Glad the manager check the room as he said the garbage hadn't been changed, but made sure that it was there was a hair on the edge of the bed bear the pillow, and the room was cold, window was open in the washroom si it was freezing in there. Parking directly in front of the room, which is other which clean and the bed is super comfortable !! The veiw and Ambiance just outside your door is spectacular!

Stayed with family of 4 for 2 nights. Great location, clean. However, many fruit flies in room and sink outside bathroom did not drain well. Got room upgrade upon arrival, which was nice (Thank you, Kevin!). Would stay here again.

The hotel manager was very kind and gave us great recommendations for the area. The room was as expected. Recent updates but some wear and tear as well. Bathroom fan and ac/heat unit could use a good clean. Everything else felt fine.

Checking in was easy and the gentleman was polite and efficient. The bathroom had hair and the outside light was hard to keep out in the night as the shades are not darkening kind.

We've stayed here two years in a row. The first year i would have given 5 stars, but this year the cleanliness was noticeably different. Everything from doors getting the white slippers they provided very dirty. The bathrooms were less clean and there were marks on the walls this year. Staff, location and everything else was excellent. Just needs more attention to cleaning.

Cute motel right across from the beach. The rooms have been updated, and we didn’t notice the thin walls/noise that some reviews mentioned—it was surprisingly quiet given how busy it was (there was a wedding and bachelorette) The only downside was the bed, which was very soft and not the most comfortable. Otherwise, a great stay for the location.

I usually don’t expect much from a motel, but this was the loveliest one I’ve ever stayed in! I have to start with the room. It must’ve been recently renovated because everything felt new and contemporary. The flooring was warm and inviting (even in the hallway which is rare for motels), the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was exceptional - complete with a full tub and modern decor. Everything was so clean! The room had a mini fridge, good sized TV and a sweet balcony facing the lake and the mountains. The only thing missing was a dresser for unpacking my clothes, but it was a small detail in light of everything else. The front desk staff were very kind, even offering my boyfriend and I free gelato next door as it was my 50th birthday! Nice touch. We had a small spill on the duvet upon arrival, and the lady came up with new covers and a very positive attitude. Major bonus points for that! The property is walking distance to everything, and very convenient for seeing concerts at the neighbouring Memorial Hall. Plenty of restaurants nearby, and right across the street from the Lagoon. All in all, for a birthday stay, the Harrison Grand was a perfect and affordable location. I highly recommend it!

As advertised. Rooms and hallways completely redone. Appreciated the ample storage within the room. The room and even the balcony were clean. Awesome view of the lake right off the balcony. Would absolutely stay here again especially for the price paid.

Rooms very nice, looks recently renovated. Location was great right across from the lake, close to coffee shops and restaurants. Staff friendly and helpful. Only negative was that we could hear people talking in the room next to us and below our room.

My husband had to haul all of his gear (making 2 trips) up the flight is stairs into the room. No one parked in this spot the entire time we were there!! Overall, the parking is frustrating and the walls are thin but the room is spacious, updated and convenient.
We were given a very warm welcome by Arash (manager). He checked on us every time he saw us asking if we had what we needed. The property itself was conveniently located and you can walk everywhere with lots of choices of restaurants. The studio room was very spacious and had a small balcony with views of the lake. You couldn’t see the lake when sitting on the couch. The air conditioning was appreciated but it needs to be updated to a heat pump as it was very loud. When it wasn’t on, I could hear the entire conversation of our neighbours who were sitting on their balcony and their voices carried through the air conditioning unit. Sounding like they were in the room with us. We could hear people in the hallways and in the other rooms with doors slamming closed frequently. Parking is an issue! There are only 12 spots. My husband came back from racing his motorbike and all the spots were taken except for the spot near room 102 which apparently is reserved for that room as we were asked to move. Holly called me and told me we couldn’t park there, so we had to park around the back of the building which was also full but she asked the guy selling ice cream to move his vehicle. There was no clear information provided about a check-in cutoff time, which made the process really stressful—especially with traffic and staff insisting on a 6:30 PM cutoff. Thankfully, they were willing to work with us. We also found a large silverfish bug as soon as we entered the room. On the plus side, the location is convenient, close to shops, restaurants, and the lake.

The family that owns this hotel is so kind and provide excellent service. The hotel is newly renovated and the balcony facing lake that is available to all who stay there is a wonderful place to hang out. Great value.

We initially book the standard room, but Arash, the manager, upgraded our room to one of their new rooms in the 2nd floor, free of charge. He was friendly and warm. Room was clean. The only thing was the blinds was kinda hard to roll down and up, but that’s all to improve. Overall, it was such a great experience and we would surely be back next year!

We stayed last weekend, we picked Harrison hot springs since we were visiting the nearby tulip festival. When we arrived we came across Arash, who checked us in and gave us recommendations for dinner choices. The room itself was clean, functional and newly refurbished with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The bed was nice and plush, I slept well. This a place I would return to bit stay longer because of the excellent customer service (we left an item behind and the motel posted it back to us), we felt welcomed and did try two of the dinner suggestions. I had a lovely prime rib meal at the pub and a delicious breakfast at the burger spot. Everything was walkable and we had an enjoyable time. Thanks again for a great experience.

Cute and affordable motel with great views in Harrison Hot Springs. Directly across from the public beach. Lovely little patio. Easy walk to all restaurants and attractions. 10 minute drive to Sasquatch Park. Recommend!

Last year we stayed at one of the bigger hotels and we had nothing but problems. This year we chose to stay somewhere new and we're so glad we did! The rooms were clean, the staff was great, and the restaurant on the property was so convenient. We can't wait to stay here next year!

Clean room, comfortable bed and within walking distance of most shops and restaurants, and within spitting distance of the water/beach. The owner was extremely friendly and accommodating and made excellent recommendations for dining options and coffee shops (Muddy's). The private balcony was tiny but most likely more enjoyable when the weather is warmer. Would stay again.

We had a lovely time. The room made us feel like we were staying at a nice hotel even though it is called a Motel. It is the perfect location right across from the lagoon where you can lounge on the beach, take a dip and soak up some rays. Attached to the motel is a really great ice cream shop that made us the best milkshakes. It is also roght next door to the community hall where they hold concerts and events. Many restaurants near by too. The beds were very comfortable and the room was very clean and well maintained by the wonderful owner. We look forward to coming back for another visit very soon.

Great motel with welcoming staff in Harrison Hot Springs. There was a side view of the lake with a balcony. Nobody was above us which was great, as the walls are fairly thin. I could hear our neighbours speaking in a normal voice next to us. It wasn't a problem though. Main heater is a loud fan, so we didn't use it much. Nice to have a separate heater in the bathroom. Didn't like that the fan goes on automatically in the bathroom as it was kinda loud. If you're just washing up, it doesn't need to go on. I get it though for reducing mould. Staff made some good recommendations on where to eat. Very friendly. Nice and clean and well updated room for the price. Bed was comfy with a nice light comforter. Would stay there again.
