A Beauty At Sunrise - Water View of Haley Pond a mile from downtown Rangeley

We had several issues with the house right at check-in. There was not a dock, we did not have any kayaks, not enough towels, dirty grill. However, the wonderful thing was the host was VERY responsive. They immediately brought over kayaks and offered to come clean the grill. Unfortunately, we never had a dock. There were odd cleaning issues, like in the upstairs bathroom there were many bugs in the shower. They had one of those sticky hanging traps for flies and it was covered with dead flies. The house did have great things as well! Wonderful location, the yard was really big and nice. Great fire pit near the water. The first floor was well done with a nice kitchen and living room area! We had a great time but it just would have made such a huge difference to have it really cleaned and the lack of dock was a bummer.

This was our 5th year staying in A Beauty At Sunrise. We honestly can't imagine staying anywhere else. The house is right on Haley Pond with a huge yard going down to the water - great for kayaking, floating in the pond or lounging by the dock. It's also in walking distance to town, which we love. We can go for a leisurely walk, take a run to Rangeley Lake or walk to & from the shops & restaurants. We already can't wait until next year's trip!

We really enjoyed our time at A Beauty at Sunrise. The accommodations would be wonderful in any season. We were there specifically to visit Saddleback for skiing. The property has a lot to offer and the layout is great for large groups given the separation of bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms (one on each level). The deck and fireplace were great. The kitchen was fully equipped. We used it a lot. Thank you!
