Amazing hotel for the nightly cost. Clean. Quiet. Great staff. Quick check in. Very clean rooms. Eco friendly bathroom products. Clean and sharply made beds. Quick drive to anywhere you want to go in Ruidoso. Will absolutely stay here next time I need to. Enjoy the oak barrel sauna. Best value hotel in Ruidoso.

The check in was easy. We were offered cookies. There is a vending machine in the lobby. I believe they have coffee and tea all day. Important things to note: 1. Metal beams protrude from the base of one of the beds in the room where we stayed. You won’t see them because they’re covered by the bed sheets but you will feel them in your ankles when you get near. Ouch!! Forgot to mention this when we checked out. 2. The parking lot is small. Only one car per room. 3. There is no kitchen or bar in the property so no breakfast but they do have muffins in the morning. 4. Quiet time is very very very important to hotel owners. Starting at 10 pm. No late check-in’s.

This place is awesome!! Right in town but super quiet and felt very safe! They have bbq’s on the property which was awesome!! The sauna was wonderful! Comfy beds and just very homey. You don’t want to leave in fact were extended our stay another day!! Staff was excellent and friendly! Will definitely come back.

Check-in was fast and easy and the Lady at the desk was very nice and friendly. We chose a patio room with a queen-sized bed and our next stay will be a King for a bit more room. The room was clean and functional, and the stay overall was quite nice.

We have driven by this hotel for 30 plus years. We decided after reading reviews to give it a try. Boy are we glad we did ! This is a gem of a place. It has old charm that just isn’t found anymore in a clean environment anyway. Hands down the cleanest place we have ever stayed. Yes it’s older but don’t be fooled. Rooms are super quiet and cozy. Muffins in the mornings are fresh and as good as home. Very neat little place. We will definitely stay again when we don’t have our camper !

This is an older place but it was clean and comfortable. There is no hot breakfast but they have fresh made muffins and coffee that were really good. They have daily housekeeping and the water pressure in the shower was good with plenty of hot water. The price was reasonable and I would definitely stay here again the next time I’m in Ruidoso.

This place knows hospitality. It’s on a busy road but they have white noise machines you can use during peak seasons. If there aren’t a bunch of tourists you don’t need them. The coffee is wonderful as well as the warm muffins. Everything is immaculately clean. Beds are comfortable and the owner makes sure that quiet time is enforced. Can’t wait to go back.

The rooms were well updated, very clean, comfortable bed, wifi worked great, and the staff was so friendly and helpful! Lisa, Amy, and Ivy were very personable and helped with directions and suggested fun things to do while in town. We had a wonderful stay and could not have asked for a more accommodating stay! Thank you ladies and we will definitely be back to stay again soon!

Sitzmark Chalet is a great property. Staff were friendly and attentive. The room was wonderful and the fireplace was a nice touch. The only downside is that it is on the main drag with lots of traffic noise and some shady folks walking by.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Lisa was very welcoming and friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed and everything was to our liking. The fresh baked cookies and warm muffins were delicious! This is a real vintage property that has been kept in immaculate condition. Very clean and the bed was comfortable. We will stay here again.

Always an amazing stay! Was welcomed in by Lisa who was so nice and helpful. Room was cozy and the morning coffee was delicious. Also on the sauna on the property was awesome. We’ll definitely return again.

We were greeted with smiles and chocolate chip cookies. We were having trouble with the tv but it was taken care of in ten minutes! Then we thought we had missed morning coffee and muffins..but we didn’t!!! They were so good. We will indeed stay there again on our next trip over, plus I’ll spread the word!

Older motel, but in excellent condition and very clean. Great location close to downtown areas, but not within walking distance. Main street is in front, so there is a little road noise, but not later at night. Not much traffic past 8 or 9 pm. Lisa at the front desk was very nice and helpful. I'd stay here again if ever in the area.

We love to stay here each time we visit Ruidoso! Staff is amazing and always has fresh cookies made and muffins in the morning. Perfect location on the main strip close to shopping and eating. You will not be disappointed!

Great experience! Room was clean and nice—fresh muffins in the morning and fresh baked cookies in the evenings…ice machine was clean and always full! Great coffee bar—the manager was so nice! The sauna was hot and perfect. Nice courtyard! Easy walk to nice steakhouse. Mattress was perfect too! Great lotion and soap in the bathroom!

It is an older property, but very well maintained and attractive. Modernized in areas where possibe. Very comfortable beds. Convenient location close to most businesses in town. The staff were all very personable. Besides coffee, there was a nice assortment of delicious muffins. Would definitely stay there again if I was back in Ruidoso!

This place is older but well maintained and the staff are great. No hot breakfast but coffee and home made muffins are delicious. Nothing fancy but if you’re looking for quiet and clean, then I recommend this place.

What a great little spot! It was clean, the staff was a great mix of friendly and professional. The suana was exactly what I needed. The freshly baked muffins were perfect. The coffee is weak and flavored... so I drove to Starbucks to get some coffee. I prefer local coffee shops but Ruidoso was asleep while we were there. Limited choices for food, etc...

This little gem is the best find that we happened upon years ago, it’s like a little paradise,, a courtyard well maintained with beautiful flowers with manicured grounds, the sauna is one of the main reasons we stay there. The people, Lisa in particular is the other reason!! She runs the place smoothly and with professionalism and is so friendly. We consider her a friend and that place is our home away from home. It’s got a rustic feel in the rooms!! Oh and the coffee and free muffins every morning are a big plus! Shhhhhh tho don’t give this place too much advertising, we want it to stay as quaint and wonderful and ready for our next reservation!!
