The room was fine. Mattresses were comfortable. Pillows weren't great. There was a refrigerator and microwave. The water was hot (shower head was a bit low). Our room was on the 3rd floor. No elevator. It wasn't a big deal for us, but it would be hard for anyone with mobility issues. The room furnishings looked older, but I did like both of the pictures in the room. The a/c in the room worked great. Common areas were very warm. Biggest disappointment was the "breakfast". It was a Ziploc bag that contained a granola bar, a fruit cup, and a kid's juice box. No cereal, oatmeal, Danishes, toast, or fresh fruit. The biggest plus was the Expedia price of $89. The Super 8 operator said she couldn't go under $150. The biggest bonus was the drive between Clayton NM and Dalhart Texas. There were a lot of pronghorn antelope and the landscapes were beautiful, the perfect setting for a Western (or contemporary Western) movie or TV show.

I found it kind of strange the bottom floor room you still had to use the stairs to get to the rooms this did not make it handicap accessible. Also when you walked in the room overall it seemed ok but then I got in the bathroom and found hair in the shower and the bottom base of the toilet was filthy and the ledge on the shower was gross and the trash can had not been cleaned in awhile. No ice in the ice machine and for the price paid no breakfast and then the town didn’t really have much to offer.

The hotel needs updating. Besides being old the floors had not been cleaned. The "continental breakfast" was bad coffee, a few slices of bread and instant oatmeal. There was no hot water to make the oatmeal. The area is poorly lit. To get to the hotel you have to drive through a parking lot of businesses that are not longer in business.

The room was dirty and had a disgusting smell. We turned on the bathroom faucet and the water didn’t drain and a lot of hair filled the sink that came up from the drain! Obviously the sink had not been cleaned. We were moved to an other room!

Very dusty, like dust waving at us from the ceiling dusty. L No outlets. The smallest toilet I've ever seen for adults. Old and drab fixtures and furniture. Bedding was washed, but worn. One of the blankets had a quarter sized hole. The breakfast was just cereal and bagels. The coffee was empty before 8a and wasn't refilled before we left. Definitely won't stay there again. It was quiet, so that was something.

This is THE dirtiest hotel our family has ever stayed in. We booked two rooms for our 5 family members. Both rooms were very outdated, unclean, stains on sheet that looked like blood. Very dirty and outdated bathroom. Lights were not working. One room had Microwave, the other didn't. Dirty stuff in toilets. Don't wanna know what it was. Floors were bending and sagging under our feet. Very noise A/C units. The entire hotel is very smelly and dirty. It is the worst we have ever stayed in. Motel 8 franchise and Wyndam should be ashamed of this property.

The motel smelled awful when we walked in the doors. The carpets were filthy, the hallway was laminate flooring but filthy. Im pretty sure our room floor hadn't been swept or mopped for a very long time. My husband walked from the bed to the shower, which was running. When he got in, there was dirty feet marks like he had went across a parking lot bare foot. There was a spiders nest on the ceiling above the bathroom sink. When it hatches there will be spiders every where. THE OVERALL PLACE WAS DISGUSTING

The room appeared clean but we found a baby pacifier on the floor. Only had 2 electric outlets in the room. One did not have a face plate the other you had to wiggle your cords. The door safety latch was broken. The bathroom door didn't shut completely. The laminate flooring squeeked and appeared loose. The TV wasn't working and had to be reset. The attendant said that happens all the time. He said he didn't know why. One of the mattresses creeked when you moved. Very limited breakfast and the coffee was cold.

The person at the desk was great! When we went to our first room there was a very bad chemical smell that aggravated my husbands asthma and gave me a headache. The desk clerk let us check two rooms to see if they worked better. One did, so we stayed. The room was tidy but lacking in outlets. I have a cpap and the only outlet by the bed only had one plug in that worked, so we had no light by the bed for reading. Also, the floors are very weird and mushy. They didn't feel very safe.

Man upfront was very nice came to the room and even helped us out with the tv. Room did not have a remote so he put effort into going and getting one so we could have tv on for the kids. Great place to stay for over night traveling.

Check in is 1:00 on the website we arrived at 1:30. My husband went inside to check in and was yelled at by the clerk. Come back at 2. We opted to go elsewhere. I would not recommend this hotel

Worst motel I've stayed at in years. The person at the front desk was rude and insulting. When we got to the room it was musty, you could tell it hadn't been used or cleaned for a while. In the bathroom there was a ball of hair and lint next to the toilet by the tub. The bottom of the bathtub was cracked,and they just covered it with tape. I felt like I could fall through it at any moment during my shower. The bed was very uncomfortable, and even though it wasn't an actual bed bug. I found a bug in my bed. In the morning the coffee machine in the room didn't work properly. So I went to the lobby to get coffee, and the machine was empty. There was a pitcher sitting on the counter marked juice. I poured a cup, and it wasn't juice. It was Tang, and it wasn't even cold. If this is the type of experience Motel 8 wants you to have them I will never stay at another one anywhere ever! Worst stay at a motel EVER! Don't waste your money, go to the next place!

Had car trouble during 10hr drive and tried calling hotel half a dozen times 2hrs before arival to let them know would be right at the end of checkin time. Could not get anyone to answer. Booked a different hotel that night.

The hotel needs updating. Besides being old the floors had not been cleaned. The "continental breakfast" was bad coffee, a few slices of bread and instant oatmeal. There was no hot water to make the oatmeal. The area is poorly lit. To get to the hotel you have to drive through a parking lot of businesses that are not longer in business.

Location was dark. Exterior light sign was out and hard to locate and we were placed on 3rd floor. Rear exit did not work with key. Ross

Very sketchy location. Unit appeared to be completely empty of other guest. Desk was not occupied. Had to call a phone number to summon clerk. Felt unsafe and decided not to stay. I would not recommend this place.

Arrived at night. The parking area or lot could use a few more lights. Otherwise the service was good we only needed a place to sleep. It was quite and comfy.

The best part of my visit was the hostess @ the front desk. She was very personable, courteous, polite and helpful. She has the greatest personality and very hard working. Also plenty of parking in safe place. Walking distance to fast food restaurants and Denny's.

We were immediately greeting on arrival. The building is conveniently located and easily accessed. Is handicap accessible. And pet friendly. Plenty of places to eat near by as well.

Very dusty, like dust waving at us from the ceiling dusty. L No outlets. The smallest toilet I've ever seen for adults. Old and drab fixtures and furniture. Bedding was washed, but worn. One of the blankets had a quarter sized hole. The breakfast was just cereal and bagels. The coffee was empty before 8a and wasn't refilled before we left. Definitely won't stay there again. It was quiet, so that was something.

Good price. The breakfast was very minimal. They only offered cereal and/or plain bagel. Nothing else. No fruit or yogurt. Many places offer eggs and pancakes. No one was at the breakfast area or check out when I left,

Due to a foreseen late arrival I phoned the hotel to notify them, and when i arrived they provided an upgrade due to a glitch which resulted in overbooking. Room was clean and bed comfy for a grest rest- a bit soft for some. Breakfast was a bag with a fruit cup, gronola bar and Sunny D beverage. There is a restaurant near the property, so there might be encouragement to eat there- not sure, but wasn't impressed with breakfast

The sheets had stains in it for someone else. Turn off. Hole in the wall by the bed. Also the breakfast was just cereal. Not much else.

It exceeded my expectations for a Super 8. The mattress was new and comfortable. The room was large and clean. The free breakfast was all carbs.

I keep my bar as low as the price. The AC was a window unit that barely kept the room comfortable most of the buttons had worn off it. While I was checking in another guest had a issue so I was left waiting mid check in while he fixed the issue for the other guest that felt very rude as I was trying to get to bed myself after 14hours on the road. Breakfast was nothing like advertised in the listing and was only cereal and not even good cereal. The room was clean at least but not like the photos at all.

How you had to kick the bottom of the door and push hard against the door while making sure the key was still had a green light. The shower keep dripping all night long tried to stop it but was not able.
