This property has no signage what so ever stating Indy Hotel. Sketchy, sketchy area, first room they gave us we could get in to without a keycard, just turn the knob. The itemized replacement list posted was an interesting art option. Despite all of the postings about no smoking you were sure to have a contact buzz before leaving.

First, the name we saw on the front of the building was not "Indy!" The lobby was being redesigned. It took almost half of our stay before the rooms started cooling. We were told they just turned off the heat! The hotel might need more workers to make sure the rooms (and hallways) especially reserved rooms are double-checked and retouched before the arrival of the guests. Moreover, the check-in and check-out procedures weren't cumbersome. The prices are fairly good.

Under construction. Fairly new owners so conditions may be being worked on. Our evening desk clerk Rom (not sure on spelling) was awesome. He tried really hard to help. 1st room hot. No air conditioning. He took us to 3 other rooms and no air working in any of them. Rom did tell us that the storm knocked out power before our arrival and the air might have been affected but he wasn't sure. The next evening he told us the power outage apparently killed the air and repairman was coming the following day. He did however offer a fan for us the first night which did help a lot. Then our smoke detector kept beeping, so a new battery was delivered and installed but it kept beeping so the battery was taken out by us but Rom put in a repair request. Then in the morning, I went to put water in the coffee maker and when I opened the lid, there were what appeared to be a few noodles in it. I took it down to the desk clerk and he said he would get a clean one up to the room later. One never was brought up and the smoke detector never got fixed. Rom however that evening brought us a clean coffee pot. Next we asked about coffee as it advertised English breakfast. No coffee and no breakfast seen. When we commented on our way out about breakfast, we were asked if we wanted some. Apparently they have boxed breakfast behind the desk that you apparently have to ask to get it. Don't know to ask, if you don't know its there.

The facility was hot, we ended up going to buy fans; there was a gas smell in the hallways; no microwave in room and when i asked was there a microwave in the bldg for use, thats when i found out there was supposed to be a microwave in the room. i requested one be bought to our room at least 3xs. No refridgerator in room. For this to be such a large hotel, there were only 2 carts, bar was closed, side doors didnt work, you could get out, but couldnt get back in with your key. floors mopped, but the fabuloso smell was very strong. windows were frosted, but no air was working. I didnt see them until sunday, but i saw 3 roaches in the bathroom (thats the only place i saw them), but then we were gone all day friday and saturday. There was a language barrier with the front desk staff. The second shift was ok, but the morning front desk worker was rude, very rude. I was very disappointed

This property looks good from the outside but everything else is terrible. Keys kept locking me out and I had to come down 5 times , there was no AC, I was forced to open windows and turn off the heat for fresh air. Although front desk staff was not rude but they don’t seem to have any solution other than the key reinstatement. It felt like the home for the homeless of the city. People were sitting with their bags and belongings in the hallway. Everywhere was smelling so bad. Total waste of money and time. I won’t recommend this hotel to my enemy unless the way it is managed changes.

Quite expensive for what you get. Two queen beds for 4 adult males was cramped. Hotel is being renovated but elevator sounded like it was going to explode. Pool area being renovated and nothing was said about it not being available. Quit noisy as a lot of sketchy people hanging around the hotel. Found roaches under the phone. Overall, it was just a place for us to crash in transit.

The room was filthy we didn’t stay but one hour due to finding bed bugs. The room was trashed with food and empty cups found behind the bed and roaches came out the fridge when opened. Their was burn marks on the wall and tobacco clusters on the ceiling the vents were dusty and the filters were clogged their was rips in the furniture and nothing was cleaned off at all

This property has a plethora of staged reviews for anything above 1-2 stars. The photos provided are accurate but they don't consider what the state of the beds are. The first room they put me in had a terribly stained mattress, along with a mysterious stain on the carpet next to the bedside table. When they provided me with another room to inspect I found bed bugs immediately on the sheets of the new bed. I promptly turned around and asked for my refund

Don’t turn the light off in bathroom otherwise you’ll have a few friends on the counter and floor. By friends I mean roaches..plural. Cold shower with low water pressure. A lot of homeless walking through parking lot. Small big towel

Smelled like cigarettes and weed. At 11:30 at night all you could hear was a loud bass of music being played. The bed was like sleeping on a thin mattress with plywood just underneath. The bottom of the closet doors had some type of brown substance splattered on them.

We would NEVER stay at this property again. The first room they gave us had no tv and was a very outdated. The second room had a tv and had been updates for the most part. The windows were very dirty. It had a very old AC system and the room was warm the whole time we were there. It seems to me that they are remodeling as they go. We have people ask us for money when we would walk out to our car. The finally straw was when I walked into the bathroom and it had cockroaches running around. The staff wasn’t rude but they weren’t nice either.

The first room they assigned me in #606 it took me about 5 times to swipe the card to get the green light and the tub was cruddy, it had a film on the floor, had a mat on the floor, wasn't clean, then the 2nd room,#608 the heat didn't work, and the shower had only one water temp, hot or hotter, if you turned the knob to the right, where it was suppose to be cold water, the pressure would go away and the water would stop flowing. No cold water.

The staff was incredible friendly but our initial room didn’t have a/c and there were fruit flies coming out of the bathroom sink. We told front desk about the a/c and they gave us two rooms with king beds because they didn’t have any rooms with two beds available anymore. So the staff was very kind and made up for the initial bad experience.

Room, entire floor was very hot. A/C did not work. Good thing window opened. Carpets are filthy, made my socks black!We would have left, but during eclipse, and no hotels available. Triple the price for triple the dirt. At least the bed and bathroom were clean. The door would not shut, had to slam it. The doors to the rooms looked like they had been jimmied. There were big chunks taken out of them by the locks! Scary. The day staff was very friendly, kind and helpful. The lobby looks very nice and inviting. So when we got to our floor it was "The Shining" scary.

This was the worst experience ever. First off the air conditioning was broke. Second I paid in full and they made me pay a security, which I still waiting to be reimbursed. They area is s little shady!

First thing right off the top when we got there, the sink was broke underneath the bottom our TV only had one station didn’t work didn’t come in the bedspreads were dirty. The people that work there the customer service people are hateful.

Clean, great customer service, they worked with me as to allowing me to pay late due to me getting off work past check out. I appreciate the understanding of the worker's. I would recommend this hotel. And I rate it 10 star

First, the name we saw on the front of the building was not "Indy!" The lobby was being redesigned. It took almost half of our stay before the rooms started cooling. We were told they just turned off the heat! Under construction. Fairly new owners so conditions may be being worked on. Our evening desk clerk Rom (not sure on spelling) was awesome. He tried really hard to help. 1st room hot. No air conditioning. He took us to 3 other rooms and no air working in any of them. Rom did tell us that the storm knocked out power before our arrival and the air might have been affected but he wasn't sure. The next evening he told us the power outage apparently killed the air and repairman was coming the following day. He did however offer a fan for us the first night which did help a lot. Then our smoke detector kept beeping, so a new battery was delivered and installed but it kept beeping so the battery was taken out by us but Rom put in a repair request. Then in the morning, I went to put water in the coffee maker and when I opened the lid, there were what appeared to be a few noodles in it. I took it down to the desk clerk and he said he would get a clean one up to the room later. One never was brought up and the smoke detector never got fixed. Rom however that evening brought us a clean coffee pot. Next we asked about coffee as it advertised English breakfast. No coffee and no breakfast seen. When we commented on our way out about breakfast, we were asked if we wanted some. Apparently they have boxed breakfast behind the desk that you apparently have to ask to get it. Don't know to ask, if you don't know its there.

The facility was hot, we ended up going to buy fans; there was a gas smell in the hallways; no microwave in room and when i asked was there a microwave in the bldg for use, thats when i found out there was supposed to be a microwave in the room. i requested one be bought to our room at least 3xs. No refridgerator in room. For this to be such a large hotel, there were only 2 carts, bar was closed, side doors didnt work, you could get out, but couldnt get back in with your key. floors mopped, but the fabuloso smell was very strong. windows were frosted, but no air was working. I didnt see them until sunday, but i saw 3 roaches in the bathroom (thats the only place i saw them), but then we were gone all day friday and saturday. There was a language barrier with the front desk staff. The second shift was ok, but the morning front desk worker was rude, very rude. I was very disappointed

The staff was incredible friendly but our initial room didn’t have a/c and there were fruit flies coming out of the bathroom sink. We told front desk about the a/c and they gave us two rooms with king beds because they didn’t have any rooms with two beds available anymore. So the staff was very kind and made up for the initial bad experience.

This property has no signage what so ever stating Indy Hotel. Sketchy, sketchy area, first room they gave us we could get in to without a keycard, just turn the knob. The itemized replacement list posted was an interesting art option. Despite all of the postings about no smoking you were sure to have a contact buzz before leaving.

The hotel was “under renovation” so the building was subpar but expected for the price. The main problem is the area it’s in. There were people in the parking lot all night and it is a noisy area.

The room temperature couldn't be controlled, the bath tub had cigarette burns, you can't see out the windows, and the staff were super unhelpful and didn't do anything to help us. The website says there's a bar and grill and swimming pool, there is not. They don't offer anything for breakfast. Ice machine doesn't work. Pretty sketchy neighborhood as well.

Front desk people very nice. Ilsay, was very fast at getting us checked in. Free breakfast in the morning. Rooms are good, clean, being remodeled, but no interruption or noise. Would stay again. The price was right. .

Our stay was nice and quite. Our room was clean but a bit stuffy. Shower was ok but the soap/towel holder fell out of the wall and the light had a ton of lint inside it. They did offer free breakfast which was basic but good. The pool was not working and the hot tub was drained. The entire building was under renovations. We did not know about that until check in. I would have liked to see the renovations and pool situation on their website.

The property is under renovation, so we assume everything will be in good shape when they are done. The exterior looks terrible, but the lobby is very nice since it has been done. We stayed on the sixth floor and were told by the staff that renovations were still happening on that floor. So guests with the sixth floor rooms had to walk on carpet padding to get to and from the rooms. Probably not ideal for the padding. Also, in the early morning hours, our smoke/CO2 detector started chirping. We just tried to sleep through it. Overall, an OK experience and it should be better when renovations are complete.

They are in the middle of renovating so things are a little all over the place. As it sits right now it seems like they aren’t quite ready to be open. Room did not have a shower curtain in it, and the lamp in the room had no lightbulbs in it. It will be very nice when it is all done, just doesn’t seem ready to be open to people yet.
