What a lovely hotel! We loved it and will definitely be back!

When we arrived at our room the air conditioner was going full blast and our room was freezing. Systems were down so no tv. It was very cool for this time of year and the heater in our room did not work. Bed was nice and cozy. Wasn't impressed by the concrete floors with a cut piece of carpet under the bed only. Shower pressure was low.

Don’t stay in Room 103. It is the only room without a view. See photo. The property had been remulched and spruced up for spring… except outside of Room 103. On top of that, the putrid industrial chemical smell in the room was overpowering and nauseating. The lighting made the room feel like a dungeon. I informed the staff of the conditions. The hotel was booked so there was no opportunity to switch rooms. I didn’t even bother letting the staff know we left without staying the night because of the room. There was nothing they could do and the room was not refundable. There was no way to stay in the room with the smell. The other rooms are probably nice. I wouldn’t know.

First time visit to Rhodes Motor Lodge and it was exceptional in many ways. One of the cleanest hotels ever and the staff was amazing. Free parking and beautiful lobby. The only improvement would be breakfast snacks to go with the coffee/tea would be a great addition. This hotel is top notch and we will be back.
