It is called an INN, however it is pretty much an old motel. The desk clerk screwed up the room, blaming it on Expedia but it was hard to understand the mixup as the desk clerk could only speak broken English. When we finally got our room, with a hot tub, as we reserved, the room smelled badly, as it was closed up with a hot tub running so it was very musty. The beds weren't bad, we never used the fireplace as it was 70 degrees out. At $500.00 a night it was unacceptable, WAY overpriced, so we settled for one without the hot tub but wanted a price reduction but was told it was the same price with or without the hot tub. That's not how the rooms were priced when we reserved them but it was impossible for the desk clerk to understand what we were asking her. Breakfast was a huge disappointment, my wife called it slop. Needless to stay we would never stay there again.

Room was clean because we could smell the caustic chemicals used to clean it. Had to sleep with the windows open, good thing the heater worked. We heard every foot step of the upstairs guests over our heads. Breakfast was too crowded to have a meal. Fitness center is a joke.

I paid $270 for a room at Swiss Chalet Inn. Prior to reserving a room I looked at their website. The site was somewhat misleading because all the rooms they show are above ground while 50% of the rooms are in the lower level, which you do not see. I have some suggestions for the owners to consider: 1. The water in Room 125 is about 85% hot in the shower. 2. The TV has only 10 channels and they are not sharp in focus. The 10 channels do not include CBS, ABC or NBC. I suggest they may want to get a new TV and check with Direct TV about their reception. 3. The waffle maker...the dough sticks to the pan for everyone who tried to make waffles. 4. Their website shows nice, brightly colored rooms with matching furnishings. This is NOT what room 125 or 126 look like. Both are in the lower level of the main building and thus the rooms are dark and the furnishings are mismatched.
