Beautiful medieval townhouse, Bergerac old town

The location was perfect . Had a little problem with all the stairs at first but go very used to them. It was good exercise after all the food and wine consumption

House was brilliant. Very local to amenities. Can't wait to revisit.

We are usually pleased with our VRBO stays, though rarely does one exceed our expectations. This one did. It is a wonderful quiet location in the middle of the old city. The house has been lovingly restored, and was perfect for making meals or reading and relaxing.

This house is situated in the heart of old Bergerac. It's absolutely charming, we stayed for 6 weeks. It is a fabulous village and a great place from which to explore the Dordogne region. The host is thoughtful and communicative. The only watchout are the stairs, I won't belabor this as others have commented already. We would stay again in a heartbeat.

We were lucky enough to spend a week in this beautiful historic property. Spotlessly clean and all four floors immaculately decorated. Great central location in the historic town, close to restaurants, bars and the river. Great communication with Marion throughout the booking process and during the holiday itself. If not hiring a car then suggest pre booking taxi. We used Allocab which has a great app that you can download to organise your taxi rides.
