King bed Crystal Lake Mchenry Cary Cozy

It was great for our needs. Great communication from the host! It was surprisingly quiet for being on a busy road. Getting out of the driveway was a challenge due to a car from another party being parked in the turn around spot. I may have missed it in the listing that it was an apartment. It could use a few more spoons and forks.

We stayed at this property for a couple of nights. Overall, the rental was clean, though a few kitchen items had been left out and were dirty, vinyl floor broken and scuffed walls. One important detail that wasn’t mentioned in the listing is that this is a split-level rental with other guests staying above. The stairs leading to the unit were quite steep. The walls are very thin—we could hear everything from upstairs, and the noise made it difficult to sleep. Parking is also limited. On the positive side, the manager was very friendly and easy to communicate with.

We had a very nice stay. Location was convenient for our planned activities, plenty of food choices in town and nearby. We stayed in the basement apartment. Large living room and kitchen with backyard access. Very nice host communication. We would stay again.

The location was a great central spot to Cary, crystal lake and all the places I needed to be. The house was clean and bigger than I expected. Host was very friendly and had simple, easy instructions on how to access the property and the amenities. I will definitely be staying here next time I’m out that way.

My friend and I stayed a weekend here while in town for a wedding. We found the space very clean and cozy! Decor was very cute! The only thing we noticed, which we shared with the owner, was that one night we were there, there were guests staying in the upstairs apartment that were rather noisy. They had checked out the night before us and it was then very quiet! All in all, would definitely stay here again!
