If you stay on the bottom floor may the weight room you wont sleep past 8-9am. Idk if it was the weight room or what but a door would open and shut very loudly starting around 8am and never stopped.

My room was pretty spacious stocked with different kitchen necessary such as pots pans plateware etc. The bathroom had its own shampoo conditioner and bidy wash, different from the standard mini bar of soap. Honestly, surprised with how much the room had to offer for a single. There was also a gym on the first floor, which is great if you find the time to utilize it. Overall, i enjoyed my experience and would book again if in town.

Clean place, excellent staff, very quite. I dont really care for window ac it blew directly on me all night. Vents dont adjust. One thing I would do is reexamine condition of white comforters. Even if cleaned dont offer menstrual stained comforters. Throw them out and reorder new ones. Its just nasty.

Great location! Good for short stay centrally located. Unfortunately the room had a very bad smell I. It due to previous guests cooking in room. Our clothes all had to be washed due to the smell after trip. Room was mostly clean and staff was great. Again stay was very brief and accommodations were good other than the smell in the room.

This is a decent hotel for a nights stay. Stayed on first floor, there was a smoke smell in the hall, and when I got to the room someone had definitely smoked in there. I quickly changed rooms. The hall was somewhat nosey and people were in and out all night. Not a resort but ok for a night.

I come to Raleigh frequently to visit my brother, and Ialways enjoy staying here at Candlewood! The staff is so friendly, especially Nassim, and the bed is so comfortable. The room is always clean!

I was very average the room took about 5 hours maybe five and a half hours to warm up but the AC and the heat if you turn it up to like 80 once it reaches 80 it's just off and blows cold air back in the room and then shuts off and then goes back to 80 then shuts back off and blows cold air back into the room so the heating unit in the room is very I guess they would say eco friendly but as into me if I want my room set at 80 I want my room set at 80 not 80 then go back to 74 or 63 and then go back to 80 where I got to be wrapped up in covers half of the damn night but other than that the room is very eco-friendly a bit small on my scale but it's doable very comfortable bed I like how secluded it is in the area so it's like a little hidden gem overall state is I give it a 4.2 out of five

The bed was comfortable and the room was fine. The room had been renovated at some point but still feels like a budget room. There were a few things that were damaged (a rip in the blackout curtain which was solved by taking a hanger out of the closet and clipping the two blackout curtains together in the middle to cover the rip) but otherwise it was very reasonable.

Check in was smooth because of Hotels.com. Pleasant staff. Room was nice size. Shower was great. Kitchen/cooking equipment was a plus. Glass ware was a pleasant change from paper and plastic. Bed was very comfortable. HVAC keep the room pleasant during the day and night.

The people are very friendly, the room is very clean, the bed is very comfortable. The temperature in the room is sometimes hard to adjust. And I wish the TV was not in the corner of the room, but in front of the bed, I always stay at Candlewood when I come to visit my brother… They’re great!

Theirs hotel was nice for a one night stay. Was a little loud from outside traffic. Must be close to a fire station because we heard fire truck sirens all night. The hallway smelled a little funny and was dyed, but the room smelled fine and was clean.

Only complaint I have is them over booking rooms. I booked on hotels.com had paid and everything then when I got to the hotel site the girl was looking confused as to how I was able to book when they were full to capacity….. luckily she didn’t panick and called someone who could assist her… total inconvenience for someone traveling from afar distance and needing some rest

We've stayed at the Candlewood Suites many, many times since about 2007/2008. It is convenient to many areas of Raleigh and surrounding areas; it's very close to shopping and dining; the staff are highly interactive, communicative, responsive - the AGM and GM especially. They are pet friendly up to 80 lbs which is a real plus. The facility itself is showing signs of aging, however, and there are some minor needs for rehab, repair and maintenance. The convenience center in the lobby needs much more variety of nighttime snacks at reasonable prices and improved stocking of them. Regardless of the minor flaws, we highly recommend CS at Crabtree Valley - the beds are the most comfortable we've ever had at any facility.

I like the hotel in general. The location was great, right off the expressway. During my check in, the staff was exceptional. The next time I am doing business in that area, I will most likely choose the Candlewood hotel.

Overall, the room was large, comfortable, clean & quiet. However, the only places to eat near by were fast food places at Crabtree Vally Mall. Austin at the front desk was very helpful & extremely professional.

We like how big the rooms are and all the things the rooms offer … a nice comfortable bed … full size fridge with ice maker … stove top even a dishwasher and a basket for your laundry … we will stay here again and again!!

I love how close it is to everything! The hotel also has great amenities in the room. If you don’t like to eat out, you can cook an entire meal in your room.

The room looked like it had been recently remodeled. It was convenient to have a kitchenette. There were laundry facilities available to use near the lobby. It would have been nice to have been within quick walking distance to a place to get breakfast.

This property is the quality that one expects from an IHG motel. It is designed for short term/long term quests. There is a full size refrigerator w/ ice maker. There is a cook top, a microwave and a coffee maker. Our stay was care free. The queen bed was comfortable. We had the perfect location for any activity we wanted to do.

I love staying here when I visit. The staff is amazing and very helpful. The rooms are so worth the price. They have the small burners for cooking, dishes and cookware, a full fridge and a dishwasher. It's quiet and cozy.

Craig has a great personality and true care for the guests. We found this hotel to be a great price and conveniently located near Crabtree Mall. Full size fridge with freezer, dishwasher, small range, and microwave. Like a home away from home.

So I booked this hotel for a few reasons. The local to the Carter-Finley Stadium, restaurants near, space to work remotely, safe and clean and last based off of the reviews and the website photos. Let's start with location from the venue, was great. Restaurants near great, space yes however the hotel is very dated and can use a fresh coat of paint in the rooms . They need to update the decor and add some bright colors, room just dark and sad looking. Please get new window shade smh. The water pressure was ridiculous 🙄, barely coming out. Safe that is questionable just like the quest that were staying at the hotel. We walked into the building with a women with her belongings in a basket sitting on the stairs looking like she was kicked out or something. Just so random . Maybe when people post reviews and talk about how great and clean this place is ,must be based off thier hotel experience and preferences. Maybe a different level of standard, not sure but its a no for me . I will stick to brands I know . Last time with this hotel chain. Stick to what I know .
