A modern appartment with access to the beach. Grear for us to be able to use the kayaks and have a fire on the beach. The weather was very warm so we didn't use the hot tub, but a great option if less sunny. Great location for trails and waterfalls. Short drive to a Walmart to stock up. BBQ on the deck, and fire on the beach to enjoy the views made for a prefect evening. Would stay again. Thank you.

Our stay was awesome! The Villa is great. The hosts have made everything so that we were comfortable in every room, even on the private terrace or on the private beach. We enjoyed everything. We saw many eagles, a dear, a rabbit. Also, ou 12 years old son and I used the kayaks available on the beach, and a curious seal came 1 meter close to my son! That was amazing. We went for great hiking in the parks close to the Villa. We also went for a whale watching tour with Big Animals Encounters… we saw 9 humpback whales, many seals, sea lions, dolphins, … and 8 orcas! The hosts were very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. The spa worked perfectly. I highly recommend this place!

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 day stay at this VRBO. The kitchen amenities were so fully inclusive that we usually ate supper meals here rather than dine out. The hot tub was a nightly must and driving either into town or out to hiking locations was super easy. This is a great destination spot for people, like us, wanting to get to know the Campbell River area.

We had a mixed experience at this property. There were parts that made our stay pleasant, but other aspects left us wondering how it has earned such a high rating.The Ugly:• Advertised as a "luxury villa" but is not a villa, and not really luxury either. It’s a one-bedroom apartment above a garage• The view from the unit is super disappointing. From the living room, you have to be at least 6 feet tall to even glimpse the beauty of the water. Oddly, the kitchen window is even higher! The view from the patio is completely blocked by a wall. Awful design• In their reponse to an unfavorable review re: the view from the patio, the owners claimed the patio was "designed to respect our privacy from their main home" yet made no effort to shield the patio from the neighbors' full view. lol• This property used to be called "oceanfront" but that wording has since been changed. The unit is beautiful new construction, sparkling clean, smells great, stocked with towels, has comfy furniture and gorgeous views. Hot tub was wonderful. Owners were very warm, responsive & welcomed us with a bottle of wine. Just fyi: The unit is built behind the owner’s home, so you have to walk down the side of their property to get to the water, so you aren’t directly on the water and views are obstructed (I kinda expected that we might not be directly on the water with the price). My only suggestion for improvement would be railings down the whole walkway to the water…there are some, but the grass was slick and steep, which made us a bit nervous with our kids. I definitely recommend the delicious breakfast at the near by Dolphins resort and make a res for dinner. We had a great spring break trip and would definitely stay again!

Really enjoyed our stay at the Villa. Spotlessly clean, nice and new, comfortable couches, great deck and bbq and kitchen appliances. Bed is comfy with high end bedding. Love the view (although you have to be taller to see out the high window) and we enjoyed the private beach, although the sunshine window is limited at this time of year. The hot tub is a great bonus - used it lots! Best of all, the villa was probably the quietest place we've ever stayed at! No traffic, people, or animal noises whatsoever. Thanks for a great stay!

My friend and I loved this place! It is modern, clean and the location next to the water and a short ride to Campbell River was perfect. I loved using the private hot tub and sitting on the deck daily. It has all the needed amenities and is very peaceful. We found ourselves spending more time at the unit than we had planned because it was so comfortable and relaxing. We had a minor issue upon check-in and our hosts addressed it immediately. They were quick to respond to any questions and very friendly and kind. Unfortunately there was a fire ban so we didn't get to enjoy a fire on the beach but that is definitely a nice option when safe to do so. There are newly constructed stairs leading to the beach now so that was an unexpected bonus. It was so pretty to sit next to the water and watch all the wildlife. We saw deer on our first day! It was also fun to watch the huge cruise ships go by. I recommend this location and will be back if available on my next family visit. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality!

The entire house is well equipped and with the fireplace at the beach just perfect. Restaurants, shopping centers are close to the house ( Walmart (5min drive). Since the hosts are living near the house you will get all answers to your questions or even recommendations for local activities. Great location-you have to stay here if you want the best in town.

The place had excellent reviews, which is partially why we chose it. It did not disappoint! The hot tub was well maintained and a lovely addition. The kitchen, bathroom, living room, and bedroom were incredibly clean and the kitchen is well stocked with everything you could need to cook. We packed a cooler with food so we could make breakfast and lunch there and we lacked nothing! Hosts were non-intrusive, but very supportive! We felt like we had a truly memorable getaway space! 10/10-would stay again!

My wife and I stayed 6 nights at this destination, from Apr25-May1, 2025. The unit was clean and very comfortable for two travelers. The availability of a hot tub was nice. We used it every day after hiking/golfing. The kitchen is well equipped but the table for eating was a little small and the bar stools were rather wobbly. The sun deck is spacious. A short walk from the unit gets you to a very good restaurant, Angler's at the Dolphin Resort. We had breakfast and dinner there. Golfwise we played Storey Creek, Campbell River and Crowne Isle. All were good but we liked Crowne Isle the best. Hiking around the Campbell River and Elk Falls was excellent.

The living room, kitchen, bedroom, and patio were very comfortable, clean and well supplied (including welcome wine bottle). Excellent!What was disappointing was:1) The featured hot tub was inaccessible with a 3' wall to climb in order to enter the water. For most renters over 60 that is too dangerous to attempt. Please put in higher stairs.2) The location by the water is great but the windows are too high for any view and there is a high wall on the patio that obstructs the view as well. 3) The lovely lawn by the water which is pictured on the website belongs to the other house and is not available to the renters. This needs to be clarified.4) Clear instructions for the TV, fireplace, etc should be included in the Visitors Book. We spent much frustrated time trying to figure out the three remotes and only found the switch for the fire on our last day.

Our place was beautifully designed and crafted, clearly a lot of thought went into the details. We enjoyed where it was situated, just north of the town busy-ness, with great views out over the channel. And the beach, what a gem! We had nice weather over Canada Day and we could sit out there to read and relax while our youngest played in the sand. I also appreciated that I could watch the Copa America on a nice monitor via the house service (not always so simple when traveling abroad). Really, all the amenities were first rate.

Really enjoyed our stay at the Villa. Spotlessly clean, nice and new, comfortable couches, great deck and bbq and kitchen appliances. Bed is comfy with high end bedding. Love the view (although you have to be taller to see out the high window) and we enjoyed the private beach, although the sunshine window is limited at this time of year. The hot tub is a great bonus - used it lots! Best of all, the villa was probably the quietest place we've ever stayed at! No traffic, people, or animal noises whatsoever. Thanks for a great stay!

Incredible accommodation. The views out of the windows are amazing with a view of the sea. It's especially good on a sunny morning. Overall very comfortable and well equipped. The hot tub is an added bonus. The location is extremely quiet and very relaxing. Yet only a few minutes easy drive to shops and restaurants. Highly recommended.

My wife and I stayed 6 nights at this destination, from Apr25-May1, 2025. The unit was clean and very comfortable for two travelers. The availability of a hot tub was nice. We used it every day after hiking/golfing. The kitchen is well equipped but the table for eating was a little small and the bar stools were rather wobbly. The sun deck is spacious. A short walk from the unit gets you to a very good restaurant, Angler's at the Dolphin Resort. We had breakfast and dinner there. Golfwise we played Storey Creek, Campbell River and Crowne Isle. All were good but we liked Crowne Isle the best. Hiking around the Campbell River and Elk Falls was excellent.

Fabulous place for a couple on a romantic getaway. We were four people and found it a bit small for us, but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Excellent location close to town, nearby trails and attractions although you really only need the private beach on property. You could spend all your time there! Hosts are super attentive and responsive, unit is very clean and very well stocked.

Our stay was awesome! The Villa is great. The hosts have made everything so that we were comfortable in every room, even on the private terrace or on the private beach. We enjoyed everything. We saw many eagles, a dear, a rabbit. Also, ou 12 years old son and I used the kayaks available on the beach, and a curious seal came 1 meter close to my son! That was amazing. We went for great hiking in the parks close to the Villa. We also went for a whale watching tour with Big Animals Encounters… we saw 9 humpback whales, many seals, sea lions, dolphins, … and 8 orcas! The hosts were very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. The spa worked perfectly. I highly recommend this place!

The place had excellent reviews, which is partially why we chose it. It did not disappoint! The hot tub was well maintained and a lovely addition. The kitchen, bathroom, living room, and bedroom were incredibly clean and the kitchen is well stocked with everything you could need to cook. We packed a cooler with food so we could make breakfast and lunch there and we lacked nothing! Hosts were non-intrusive, but very supportive! We felt like we had a truly memorable getaway space! 10/10-would stay again!

The unit is beautiful new construction, sparkling clean, smells great, stocked with towels, has comfy furniture and gorgeous views. Hot tub was wonderful. Owners were very warm, responsive & welcomed us with a bottle of wine. Just fyi: The unit is built behind the owner’s home, so you have to walk down the side of their property to get to the water, so you aren’t directly on the water and views are obstructed (I kinda expected that we might not be directly on the water with the price). My only suggestion for improvement would be railings down the whole walkway to the water…there are some, but the grass was slick and steep, which made us a bit nervous with our kids. I definitely recommend the delicious breakfast at the near by Dolphins resort and make a res for dinner. We had a great spring break trip and would definitely stay again!

My friend and I loved this place! It is modern, clean and the location next to the water and a short ride to Campbell River was perfect. I loved using the private hot tub and sitting on the deck daily. It has all the needed amenities and is very peaceful. We found ourselves spending more time at the unit than we had planned because it was so comfortable and relaxing. We had a minor issue upon check-in and our hosts addressed it immediately. They were quick to respond to any questions and very friendly and kind. Unfortunately there was a fire ban so we didn't get to enjoy a fire on the beach but that is definitely a nice option when safe to do so. There are newly constructed stairs leading to the beach now so that was an unexpected bonus. It was so pretty to sit next to the water and watch all the wildlife. We saw deer on our first day! It was also fun to watch the huge cruise ships go by. I recommend this location and will be back if available on my next family visit. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality!

We stayed for a week, and thoroughly enjoyed the apartment and hot tub. We were able to enjoy the sun and the view from the patio every day of our stay as the weather was gorgeous. We made short day trips to different trails, sights and waterfalls in the area. The hot tub was a nightly must and driving either into town or out to hiking locations was super easy. The property was just perfect! A hidden getaway on a quiet street, ocean views and stepsaway from the ocean. All the amenities you need and perfect for a cozy stay on a rainy day or just a short drive to Campbelm River with nany things to see and do. Our favourite was walking to the Angler Restaurant at the Dolphin Resortfor a wonderfum dinner.

The entire house is well equipped and with the fireplace at the beach just perfect. Restaurants, shopping centers are close to the house ( Walmart (5min drive). Since the hosts are living near the house you will get all answers to your questions or even recommendations for local activities. Great location-you have to stay here if you want the best in town.

The weather was very warm so we didn't use the hot tub, but a great option if less sunny. Great location for trails and waterfalls. Short drive to a Walmart to stock up. BBQ on the deck, and fire on the beach to enjoy the views made for a prefect evening. Would stay again. Thank you.

We loved everything about our stay in this modern, spacious, quality home with its beautiful high ceilings, fully equipped gourmet kitchen, sunny deck, and private beach. Full privacy from the owner's property and great design with the high placement of the windows in the living room allowing you to view the ocean without seeing the house below. Having access to a private beach was a special bonus. I have some mobility issues and there were a couple of spots where it was a bit challenging (but doable). I think the owners must have spotted me using an umbrella as a makeshift walking stick. The next morning a piece of driftwood that made a perfect walking stick was placed by the door. Very thoughtful, thank you so much. If looking for an authentic old-school retro diner experience for breakfast we highly recommend the Ideal Cafe. Don't judge by the look of the outside, it's a gem.

I definitely recommend the delicious breakfast at the near by Dolphins resort and make a res for dinner. We had a great spring break trip and would definitely stay again!
The unit is beautiful new construction, sparkling clean, smells great, stocked with towels, has comfy furniture and gorgeous views. Hot tub was wonderful. Owners were very warm, responsive & welcomed us with a bottle of wine. Just fyi: The unit is built behind the owner’s home, so you have to walk down the side of their property to get to the water, so you aren’t directly on the water and views are obstructed (I kinda expected that we might not be directly on the water with the price). My only suggestion for improvement would be railings down the whole walkway to the water…there are some, but the grass was slick and steep, which made us a bit nervous with our kids. Lovely quiet location with everything you need to be comfortable. Situated very close to parks, groceries, restaurants and local attractions. Fishing was amazing with a local guide. So happy we chose this listing in Campbell River.

The property was just perfect! A hidden getaway on a quiet street, ocean views and stepsaway from the ocean. All the amenities you need and perfect for a cozy stay on a rainy day or just a short drive to Campbelm River with nany things to see and do. Our favourite was walking to the Angler Restaurant at the Dolphin Resortfor a wonderfum dinner.

My wife and I stayed 6 nights at this destination, from Apr25-May1, 2025. The unit was clean and very comfortable for two travelers. The availability of a hot tub was nice. We used it every day after hiking/golfing. The kitchen is well equipped but the table for eating was a little small and the bar stools were rather wobbly. The sun deck is spacious. A short walk from the unit gets you to a very good restaurant, Angler's at the Dolphin Resort. We had breakfast and dinner there. Golfwise we played Storey Creek, Campbell River and Crowne Isle. All were good but we liked Crowne Isle the best. Hiking around the Campbell River and Elk Falls was excellent.

The entire house is well equipped and with the fireplace at the beach just perfect. Restaurants, shopping centers are close to the house ( Walmart (5min drive). Since the hosts are living near the house you will get all answers to your questions or even recommendations for local activities. Great location-you have to stay here if you want the best in town.

Absolutely beautiful property. The host is fabulous to deal with as my step son came with us last minute, they were super accommodating with the last minute change in guest numbers. The beach area was lovely and well maintained, and the property is close to painters lodge and many other amenities in Campbell River. Very clean, kitchen was wonderful to cook in, bathroom was very spa like, and bed was so very comfy! Super Happy we chose this property for our stay. If we ever come back to the area we will 100% be back.

Inside of the house was excellent and the kitchen was very well equipped. Didn’t know about the stairs to the suite and to the beach which was a bit of a problem for my wife. The excellent view of the ocean was quite restricted from the patio and the suite for shorter people. Good hot tub.
