Property was awesome!! Really clean and had everything!! Only negative was trying to park our boat on the very steep driveway. We came there to fish and the steep drive and narrow turnaround made managing our boat each night an adventure. Everything else could not have been better. Ben was great helping us with the whole process!!! Great Stay!!

The cabin was everything we could have wanted. The beds were comfortable and it was extremely clean. Porch was great and the fire pit with the swings was an added plus. Dock and boat ramp were convenient and easily accessed. The neighborhood is low key which is a plus when factoring in the short walk to the dock. Overall a great property that I would recommend!

Langston is off the beaten path! The house was clean and nicely decorated. The living room has vaulted ceiling with lots of natural light. The porch has rocking chairs and swing, lovely for morning coffee. The neighborhood is quiet. Large fire pit with wooden chair swings for around fire area. Hot tub was nice, but it took 8+hrs to get to temp, so don’t plan on using it your first night. The master is downstairs. The second bedroom is upstairs; each with their own en-suite. The upstairs beds are far more comfortable than the master. Partially obstructed lake views, but still absolutely lovely!! Morning coffee looking at the lake never gets old. Some of the areas for improvement or need to knows: the driveway is very steep; very tricky if bringing your boat. The upstairs bedroom does not have any HVAC vents inside the room. It does have a ceiling fan, but the room got hot. Also, the Roku or direct tv in that bedroom did not work; not a huge deal but our son would have liked to watch a little TV before bed. Kitchen was well appointed; but we only cooked breakfast daily. Great water pressure in the shower! The hosts were very easy to communicate with. The drive from house to City Harbor Guntersville was 38min. Scottsboro is about 20min to Publix. Overall great house, nice tucked away location.

The cabin is beautiful, clean and comfy. We enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. It was a good location for us to drive to area attractions. Lake Guntersville is stunning even in the winter. Cathedral Caverns was a most favorite excursion we did.

Great time had by the whole family. Rooms were great, kitchen had everything you needed, living area was cozy. The driveway is a bit tricky but all good . Get everything you need before you settle in the grocery store is pretty far away. But you will enjoy your stay!

Much needed get away location that was close enough to lots of different things we love to do, a lovely winery, many different hiking locations within an hour away, food options near by, definitely recommend Homecoming. The shower was fantastic. The hot tub and fireplace were a great addition to our stay; it was gorgeous as the storms rolled in having the cool breeze in the hot tub. Super easy check in, instructions were easy to follow. For the dock: its before the curve to the left on Lakeshore, its a big red horse fence but easy to find during the daylight hours a bit tricky at night (when we arrived).

We took a few days to get away and celebrate our son turning 12 years old. He loves to fish so this was the perfect getaway for him to get some good fishing in. He brought his best friend and his older brother and my husband and I. The cabin is lovely, we loved the floor plan, sitting on the porch in the evenings and gazing at the lake was great, the size of the bedrooms and bathrooms are perfect, and it was also a plus to have a washer and dryer in the cabin as well. The host are very friendly and respond very quickly to any questions you may have. My only complaint is that it wasnt as clean as i would have like (i am a bit of a neat freak) so i did some cleaning myself upon arrival. Nothing too serious, it could just really useva good dusting, sweeping and mopping. But overall our stay was great and we will definitely return.

We loved the cabin and all its features. We had a slight issue when we arrived at the cabin due to some areas where not cleaned but Ben was very responsive and a cleaner was there the next morning and cleaning fee refunded! Overall very happy with the service provided

Our family stay at Cabin on the Lake was fantastic. The cabin has a deck that wraps around two sides of the house. The rocking chairs and swing provided relaxing places to hangout with family, This was a unique, comfortable, and relaxing stay!!

We booked this cabin for a business trip. It was close to the venue we were working at all weekend. The view is beautiful! The cabin was exceedingly clean (I am very OCD). I think the best part of the cabin for all 4 of us were the beds! All three beds were sooooo comfortable! Only thing we didn’t expect was the length and slope of the driveway (owner said he was about to do work on it). It was a little scary to maneuver our enclosed trailer up and down it but we made it work! The owners communicated very thoroughly throughout our entire planning and booking process and answered any and all questions we had extremely quick! The hot tub does take a while to warm up, so if you plan to use it, I would suggest setting your preferred temperature an hour or two before use. Hands down will be this cabin again if we come back out for work!

Once again, we had a relaxing stay! The hot tub, the quiet area, everything was perfect!! The manager takes such good care of the property and we enjoyed cooking most of our meals in. We went out for dinner once and enjoyed that too. It’s SUCH a nice place!

Perfect place for a quick stop on our much longer trip for some lovely fishing on the lake, which included a rainbow, and a wonderful soak in the hot tub. Hosts were extremely responsive and accommodating. Definitely wish we could’ve stayed longer! I’ve already recommended the listing to others!

The shower was fantastic. The hot tub and fireplace were a great addition to our stay; it was gorgeous as the storms rolled in having the cool breeze in the hot tub. Super easy check in, instructions were easy to follow. For the dock: its before the curve to the left on Lakeshore, its a big red horse fence but easy to find during the daylight hours a bit tricky at night (when we arrived).

Langston is off the beaten path! The house was clean and nicely decorated. The living room has vaulted ceiling with lots of natural light. The porch has rocking chairs and swing, lovely for morning coffee. The neighborhood is quiet. Large fire pit with wooden chair swings for around fire area. Hot tub was nice, but it took 8+hrs to get to temp, so don’t plan on using it your first night. The master is downstairs. The second bedroom is upstairs; each with their own en-suite. The upstairs beds are far more comfortable than the master. Partially obstructed lake views, but still absolutely lovely!! Morning coffee looking at the lake never gets old. Some of the areas for improvement or need to knows: the driveway is very steep; very tricky if bringing your boat. The upstairs bedroom does not have any HVAC vents inside the room. It does have a ceiling fan, but the room got hot. Also, the Roku or direct tv in that bedroom did not work; not a huge deal but our son would have liked to watch a little TV before bed. Kitchen was well appointed; but we only cooked breakfast daily. Great water pressure in the shower! The hosts were very easy to communicate with. The drive from house to City Harbor Guntersville was 38min. Scottsboro is about 20min to Publix. Overall great house, nice tucked away location.

The cabin is beautiful, clean and comfy. We enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. It was a good location for us to drive to area attractions. Lake Guntersville is stunning even in the winter. Cathedral Caverns was a most favorite excursion we did.

The cabin was great. We were in town for my son’s wedding at the Stone Haven venue and it was only 10 minutes away. Very convenient. The cabin was very clean and well maintained.

Overall it was a good experience. The main negative was the directions. The listing implied that it was in Guntersville. So we had to drive a long distance since we thought it was Guntersville. We could have came in a different way since it was technically in Scottsboro

Beautiful and clean cabin... Close access to several boat ramps made our fishing trip a complete success. Highly recommend this to anyone looking for a nice place for a relaxing time. Will stay with again.

Once again, we had a relaxing stay! The hot tub, the quiet area, everything was perfect!! The manager takes such good care of the property and we enjoyed cooking most of our meals in. We went out for dinner once and enjoyed that too. It’s SUCH a nice place!

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin! The porch was so inviting, the house was extremely tidy and clean! We enjoyed the short walk to the fishing pier that is just a few houses down from the cabin, it’s a beautiful, quiet neighborhood, and the cabin is tucked away on its own little hill but is convenient to town and other attractions! We visited High Creek falls, Cathedral caverns and Guntersville State Park while we were there! We were sad to leave and hope to plan another trip in the near future!

Everything we expected. Cabin is just as pictured. We absolutely loved the seating area on the porch as well as the fire pit area. We stayed here to attend June Jam 2023 and it was perfect. Not too much of a drive into Fort Payne. We will stay again next year if June Jam happens in 2024. This is NOT a complaint just a suggestion...an outside table would be nice to enjoy meals outdoor while enjoying the view of the lake. The porch area was my favorite spot.

We were just looking for a quiet peaceful place to relax. This is perfect location, mountains - lake - nature all around but not far from town either. Neighbors are far enough away but nice neighbors. The birds sang a symphony each morning as we drank our coffee in one of the many swings or rocking chairs or in the hot tub.. the deer even came one morning to say hello ,). We enjoyed the kitchen to cook some and also the grill outside.. everything we needed was supplied. The fire pit was nice in the evening, something about the lake view and a fire ! We did not bring fishing supplies but maybe next time.. we would recommend brining shampoo- not sure if I missed packing it or thought it would be in the cabin but that didn’t really matter since we were picking up grocery’s .. Love the TV, fireplace warmed us up quick 💗

Great time had by the whole family. Rooms were great, kitchen had everything you needed, living area was cozy. The driveway is a bit tricky but all good . Get everything you need before you settle in the grocery store is pretty far away. But you will enjoy your stay!

Great cabin! We stayed here two nights for a wedding at Stone Haven. Enjoyed an evening on the porches with our family that was staying nearby. Granddaughter loved the hottub. Mattress in the king bed room was very soft and very comfortable. My husband is 6'4" and said the shower in the master is great for tall guys. My only recommendation is to add hooks in the bathrooms for hanging towels or bathroom bags.

Enjoyed our stay. It was very quiet and peaceful. It was a little tight getting the boat in and out of driveway, but we made it without hitting the neighbor’s mailbox!
