Overall a decent place to stay. The lazy river and pool would be more enjoyable if the no children after 6pm rule was still in place. Unsupervised kids were jumping in the hot tub splashing everyone and running around. When one of the young workers spoke with them, they said their grandmother was at the casino. None of the kids were over 12. I booked a stay here for a relaxing couples time with my husband. The casino was nice and the seafood buffet was delicious. The room was okay. Could definitely use some upgrades. No refrigerator in the room was disappointing. The windows and mirrors had lots of face and finger prints.

Only one treadmill need at least 2, the bikes didn’t have power to them, didn’t like the kids have to leave swimming pool at 6 that’s all their is for them to do, I didn’t even have kids but I didn’t like that. If u want adult only do 8-10 but not 6 or get a game room.

Loved the pool and lazy river! Penn cash (new app) can be used on dining in any restaurant in the hotel and casino. Helps with the cost of dining a lot! Down fall is there’s no mini fridge in all the rooms. If you are staying at the hotel with kids there are restrictions on the times they can swim and age limit. My family and I will stay again for sure. We had a great time!

This is a Casino. I did not expect to see as many small children running around. All in the lazy river, not floating but just getting in the way with no parents watching them. Then running up and down the halls at 930pm,1130pm. I mean what are they doing. Check to see if anything is closed when you go. The palasides bar was closed on monday and tuesday. Its the only bar you can go to that is not in a smoke filled casino or restaurant. Bogarts restaurant was good. celebrity grill is good. We had a good time but it could have been better. Oh and on expedia, I had selected the king room with the big garden tub. I didnt get that. Not sure why.

We were a little disappointed that the pool was closed because someone had a "caddyshack baby ruth" moment in the pool. The buffet is way over priced at $49 per person. You should be given the option of whether or not you are eating the crabs. Thats the cause of the high price. Otherwise everything was great!

The stay was nice. Would have liked the new remodeled rooms but still good. The thing that makes it almost a no go is coming in and out the smoke is killer. The breakfast restaurant is good but very slow every day. Really liked the lazy river and the buffet and the crab boil on the deck. If there could be an entrance away from the smoke it would be great.

The Hollydeck has live music, beautiful views of the water and good food. Bogart's is pricey but the food is good and it also has nice views. The lazy river is a blast. The show was great. My only critique is the room didn't have a fridge.

The room was not completely clean. I did not complain though. The wall paper in the bathroom was coming off. In the bathroom the dust was piled in the corners. Lamp shade had makeup and hair on it. The floor I don’t think was vacuumed bc there was stuff still on the floor.

They were doing some construction inside the front enterance so you had to walk around all the workers and equipment. Had some cleaniness and maintence issues. Let the front desk girl know and she didnt seem fazed by what i mentioned to her. Safety was the security lock was broken, stains on floor (red) food some unknown object on floor i wasnt touching and some type of blood or something on sheer curtains. Didnt see some of the stuff until we checked out as we we not in room much. The ac was turned way down (65) and still felt very warm in the room. For the price it would have been worth paying if the room wasnt as bad.

This property was absolutely gross. Limited parking nearby hotel and parking lot full of litter. When you walk into the property the stale cigarette smell that hits you is repulsive and follows you to your room. The rooms are sorely outdated in every way. The bathroom walls were full of mildew. The walls are paper thin. Food was gross. We ended up leaving a day earlier than planned because of the lack of satisfaction with the property. What a dump.

We booked this hotel through an Expedia listing, drawn in by the luxurious soaking bathtub shown in the photos. However, upon arrival, we were given a standard 2ft-tall cast iron tub, far from the deep, relaxing experience we expected. This felt like clear false advertising. Additionally, the entire facility had a pervasive aroma of cigarette smoke, which made our stay even more unpleasant. Granted, it is a smoker friendly casino, but the smoke is not very well contained. Overall, the experience fell far short of what was promised. Would not recommend if you're relying on the amenities shown in the listing.

This was a great overnight stay! We checked in a little late but got out and grabbed dinner then hung out in the casino. We really enjoyed the room upgrade. The king suite was beautiful!

While the property has some updates the hotel rooms need updating, the hotel was overbooked and they did not have my room type available. I ended up with a accessible room next to the elevator and ice maker. I was not pleased and since it was my birthday I was more than disappointed and did not sleep well, the shower looked digusting and not well maintained. The restaurant Bogart steakhouse left me out of sorts as the food portions seemed far less the others and mine and a couple of guest at celebration food was undercooked and had to be sent back multiple times considering I had what was supposed to be lamb chops (1 lamb chop and three pieces of meat cut up on a plate)which I cook myself I just dont understand how they came back twice undercooked. The staff at the front desk was the nice and tried there best to fix what things but you can what you dont have. I did salvage my birthday weekend as best I could but honestly beyond visiting the buffet or their new lounge, staying here again would be hard even if it were free without seeing my room first. I have stayed at this hotel before and it was much nicer, I feel room renovations are needed asap, especially at the price I paid.

Thought the lazy river would be longer but it was very relaxing. Our room had cookies on the floor by the bed when we arrived. The electrical outlet did not work where coffee pot and lamps plug.

Check-in and out very easy. Clean and quiet. Loved the view of the pool however in our room tv channels limited due to issues with satellite. Be aware that daily room service is not automatic, but when we requested it was immediate. Overall highly recommend this casino and will be back.

Room was clean but old and needed a paint job. Bathroom was old and extremely dated. Drawers in the chests kept flying open by themselves. It was a nice view of the back bay.

My door key lock batteries dead I could not get back in my room at 1am, I went to the front desk they made me a new key, 3 different times before they finally agreed to call maintenance to come let us in stated "batteries must be dead" no one replaced the battery but maintenance did let us in the room. Tried to take a bath, the water was YELLOW! Asked for a cart to get our luggage, was told she did not know if they had them, and point outside told me to ask valet. A cart had been sitting by the front desk when I checked in and passed the desk the entire time we had been staying there previously. Won't be staying here again.

They tried to change the room we were staying in last minute. I booked a king smoking room, and they tried to put us in a queen double non-smoking room, then acted like WE were an inconvenience because we said "no." The lady at the counter was condescending and obviously perturbed at the fact she had to move us to what we booked. We were kind and polite, but that didn't sit well with us, and I doubt we'll stay at Hollywood Casino again.

I found that persons drivers license in with my cards. Said they were shorthanded of people cleaning their rooms, and I kept telling everyone to come back. Thankfully, she comped me a buffet, but I had planned to eat at 4:30 or five and I left there at 9 PM when they were closing. I wish I could get a late check out for tomorrow now very tired booking with you was good and the first time I ever did hope to again, can you get me a free night here ?thak you Sara- and it was my birthday ! 😃 Seemed rushed and tiring.

We had a wonderful time from the moment we checked in. Jan, the hostess who check us in, was so sweet and accommodating. I mentioned we came for my husbands birthday and she gifted us with two complimentary drink coupons. Jan also took the time to guide us to the new Hollydeck, and might I say it’s beautiful. We enjoyed the lovely pool and the Lazy River. As it was a Wednesday the buffet was not opened and my husband cannot eat steak so Bogartsswas out, but we had a light enjoyable meal at the Celebrity Grill. We then went to the casino to gamble fire a few hours, then back to Hollydeck for evening drinks before retiring for the night. Our room was okay but the view overlooking the water and boat slips was incredible. We will be back soon.

Front desk employees didn’t know anything about 1) when the buffet was in cession, the price, and was given wrong information regarding same; 2) didn’t give us bands for the pool, we learned the hard way; 3) a few trash bags were left in our room; and 4) floors were dirty throughout the hotel/casino.

Fantastic experience. Staff all friendly and professional. We will be going back. We felt it was probably the second best casino of the ones we visited, only Beau Rivage was better we felt, but at the price difference that was to be expected. We booked there because of the photos of the room and was not disappointed.

So I arrived early and was greeted well by valet staff. However when I went to front desk to try and check in the lady at front desk was very rude. I knew I was early however I have done this before with many many other hotels with no issues. This lady was not willing to help and even gave a snarky look. Normally when I get to a hotel early I'm able to give my information and my phone number and they let me know when my room is available. At the same time they offer the amenities of the hotel. Frank I'm sorry message juban bill but your room is not available however if you would like we would hold your luggage for you and you could use our spa, pool area, casino or eat at one of our eateries. This lady which was about 9:30 a.m. on Sunday morning looked very upset to be at the front desk number one and basically said to me we don't do any of those things come back in about 3 hours and dismissed me. I was very put off by my first interaction with the hotel. So I went back to my car and then nice belly people said go here and here to eat something. So after about 3 hours I came back to the hotel walked up to the front desk again and the lady said fine give me your license and credit card and I'll check you in even though you're way too early. So once I was all checked in I went to my room The room was very clean and the housekeeping lady was actually right outside my door and offered me extra towels she was amazing. there's so much more wrong however not enough room to finish.

Booked online, got there about 4:30p, there was an extremely long line to check in. There were signs to check in with app, downloaded app and went through all the steps but it wouldn’t accept my itinerary number, wanted a confirmation number. There was sometimes one then 2 workers checking in guests with sometimes two others just standing behind the desk. After 45 minutes waiting in line, my friend checks in to a smoking room that she didn’t want, then I go and they said my room wasn’t ready. I asked if I could go to the pool for a little bit then and they said yes, but had no time frame. I asked if my room would be given to someone else and she said no. No apology, not friendly whatsoever. So we go to the pool for a couple hours, come back to check in and Sophie, rolls her eyes at us! Proceeds to be rude, says they don’t have a king suite, what I paid for online, gives us a double queen room, again no apology or anything, just attitude. I ask her if it’s going to be cheaper and she says no. The worst customer service and felt like they had no clue what they were doing and not enough front desk workers. But out at the pool there were several workers just standing around doing nothing, while there was trash everywhere. We were full price paying customers paying $350+ for room, $100+ for the buffet for 2 people, gambled—but we will never be back, absolutely disgusted with workers.

The positive is that the hotel was clean. The pool and lazy river were sparkling. The staff was friendly and prompt. The location is convenient to The Gulf Coast activities including the quaint towns of Bay St Louis and Pass Christian as well as a short drive to Gulfport/Biloxi. However, the hotel smelled of cigarette smoke from the casino from the moment I walked in. A room refrigerator was an extra charge. I had to ask if one was available. No microwave available. The food in Bogart Bistro was barely edible--I ate a sandwich! I was told by other patrons not to even bother with the steaks in Bogart Steakhouse. Peeling paint was in the bathroom. There was carpet in the room.

The location is great -very convenient to anything in Bay St Louis, and that whole area. I highly suggest a leisurely drive west down the beach road all the way to the end. I will definitely be going back to stay at this hotel!

1st customer service at hotel not available upon arrival. 2 clerks working on one account..Steakhouse, we waited and no one showed up so we left..ate at the sandwich shop next to hotel customer service counter, food wasn't great..Upon departure waited about 5 minutes for clerk to show up to check out, music was so loud so you couldn't hear rep...The casino customer rep. was very friendly...Never again will we stay here....

Excellent property with one exception dining options on slow week nights are limited. No buffet Bogarts their steakhouse which is excellent closes at eight so your left with a noodle place a fast order grill and a bar. But the big negative is no breakfast unless you sleep in. The casino’s noodle restaurant had the worst noodles I’ve ever had, including top ramen. However the view and menu at their steakhouse was a fantastic way to enjoy a sunset.

We were a little disappointed that the pool was closed because someone had a "caddyshack baby ruth" moment in the pool. The buffet is way over priced at $49 per person. You should be given the option of whether or not you are eating the crabs. Thats the cause of the high price. Otherwise everything was great!

I do love this place overall! Plenty of machines and tables to gamble on , a pretty cool pool and lazy river area with outdoor bar, clean rooms and good customer service throughout . Bogarts is absolutely delicious dining, and I highly recommend. It’s not nearly as expensive as I thought it could be. But they also have a buffet (not my favorite) and a brand new Pho Noodles place, as well as the beloved Celebrity Grill. My only complaint is, I can never get a good sleep here because people are always so loud in the halls of the hotel rooms, and the rooms are no where near sound proof. Our neighboring room had an alarm go off for 10min straight and I could here that. We also had Maintenance barge in our room at 10:30 at night. Which I’m still confused why he came in (I had the latch on so he couldn’t get all the way in) but I was sleeping butt ass naked , so that latch really saved my experience there, highly recommend locking the latch every night here . We also had “kids” knock and ditch our door early in the morning too. Super annoying for the inconsiderate people that do effect your stay but take it with a grain of salt, everyone’s experience I’m sure is different, I still enjoy this place despite the issues I’ve encountered.

The pool closes at 6pm for kids; the cigarette smell is very strong. The restaurants are limited, the choices are poor and the quality is even worse. We loved this place last year but something has changed. The staff was not very helpful and very untrained when it came to Expedia reservations. We played at the casino for a few hours and where never offered drink service.

The Hollydeck has live music, beautiful views of the water and good food. Bogart's is pricey but the food is good and it also has nice views. The lazy river is a blast. The show was great. My only critique is the room didn't have a fridge.

Nothing to add at this hotel The room was apparently newly renovated But the toilet rocked back-and-forth ice machines didn’t work. I had to go to four floors to find one that worked. The food was terrible never go again.

Our rooms thermostat said error and low battery, so no air was moving through the room. It was so stuffy and hot by the time we left I felt miserable. It never got below 75 in there. We did inform the front desk and yet nothing got done. I did also inform the manager today at check out and no courtesy given, just a sly comment about how the maintenance is supposed to follow their orders. the casino wasn’t bad. This morning when we were getting ready to check out we had a knock on our door from housekeeping asking when we were leaving. It was not even 9am. Luckily I was there to answer the door appropriately. Buffet was average, nothing special. Overall it was an ok hotel, but we probably won’t stay there again.
