The bed was super soft, but the pillows have lumps that you have to rearrange to your liking. It states there’s a continental breakfast which is a lie. There are waffles and such that you can toast. There’s other assorted non hot food items. The only plus about the drinks is you have access 24/7. The walls are paper thin and the bed frames are noisy. Also, on check out day, your key deactivates itself apparently. I got locked out of my room an hour before check out while I was packing my car and my dog was still inside. I was issued a key no problem, but still had anxiety not being able to get in. There’s only two hotel options and this is the better one.

Hotel appeared to be updated. We were surprised by how clean it was since townsfolk we were visiting thought it might be shabby - it wasnt. Close to restaurants and gas station, convenient.

When first arriving, the room was clean and quaint. The shelves, drawers, and the window seat were charming. The lack of staff at the desk at any time spoiled it some. The closure of breakfast the next morning a half an hour early because they booked a meeting further soured the experience. Due to how small the town is and how few things were open, we didn’t get food until almost lunchtime. Finding flea bites on my child due to the pack and play being closer to the floor? Sealed the deal of never planning to return.

We have stayed at this location many times and it is always a great experience. The staff is very friendly and always clean at a great price. They are doing updates at this location so the dining room/kitchen was a little in disarray. The breakfast wasn't as good as it normally is.

Fantastic hotel for the money. Clean, thoughtful, computer/printer available, grab and go breakfast has creative options, refrigerator/microwave/blow dryer, free wifi, friendly staff. Limited toiletries, weird tv options, but otherwise AHHH-MAY-ZING!

The front desk attendant was nice. Our room though was dirty. The bathtub was dirty and had human hair left in it. The carpet was very stained and dirty looking. Nothing felt clean it was very hard to sleep. The beds are very loud and uncomfortable. We had a drunk guy also attempting very hard to get into our room at 3:00 in the morning. We were scheduled for two nights of stay but didn’t not stay the second night. We will NOT be returning here.

Reservations were all messed up. Had to leave earlier than planned. The maid came into our room one day replaced towels and made 1 of the beds. They left the other bed messed up and didnt empty overflows garbage can. Other than that not bad

No service in room Thursday-Monday. Staff was friendly but useless. I had to go find TP and tissues. I don’t think workers even came in my room to check condition entire time I was there. Disappointing.

Floors in the room are vinyl and were very dirty. I washed our floor with a towel so we could walk around in our socks. Towel was dark brown when I was done.

The walls were so thin that I could hear people talking in the room next to me as if they were in the same room with me. Other than that, the staff was great and the hotel was great. It just has really thin walls.

The pre check-in process really helped speed things along when we got to the hotel. The beds were comfortable the room was clean. The only real “complaint” was you could hear the other hotel guests outside of the room and then going in/out of the room next to ours. And the only room “flaw” was the toilet paper was way across from the toilet and my daughter couldn’t reach it. Neither of these things negatively impacted my 5-start rating. Would stay here again.

What I didn’t like is the breakfast was pretty meager. Other customers said when they went to lobby to eat there was no food. I think food was some type of bread. Also there is no closet or drawer place to unpack or hang your clothes. This place is overpriced for what you get.

Can’t remember her name but the manager at front desk was great. I was looking for apartment for son and she gave me suggestions. Even called me when she saw a for rent sign in town. Give her 11 stars out of 10!

the front desk was not very together. Had my reservation messed up. Had to show them my bank statement to prive it was paid for. When i was leaving sunday morning the young man almost insisted i give him my debit card to pay for it again, which i wouldnt do. So once again i was embarrassed with having to pull up my banking statement to prove it was paid for. Twice i was embarrassed during this stay. Probably wont pick this hotel again, the room was clean and nice but not worth my honest being questioned, especially in front of other guest. very tacky.

St Geneive is a very small historic town. This motel was perfect and next to the business section of town and very close to the attractions of the town. Location is perfect.

It was actually nice for the price i expected something less. Set up smart. Clean and east to find. I was on a site seeing trip and it was 1hr south of St. LOUIS. We know how traffic in that town is. Got up early, checked out quick and was at the Arch 1hour before they opened.

Our room was clean and fairly comfortable. The bed was overly soft. My biggest complaint was the breakfast offerings. Microwave waffles and 2 kinds of cold cereal are not a decent breakfast. There was a toaster but only one bagel available. :(.

The first morning we ate breakfast (24th) as we were in the breakfast room I witnessed a female cleaning the area. She used a rag to scrub at the floor in front of the coffee machine. Nothing unusual, but I kept watching. She then stood up, rinsed out the rag then immediately started to wipe down the outside of the microwave and then the inside of the microwave! I was appalled by then, but of course, she wasn’t even done. Then she wiped off the entire counter top. This was the same rag she had used to scrub THE FLOOR!! We chose not to eat the free breakfast the rest of our stay. This was the second time we’ve booked at this hotel, planned on booking in the future, but this truly makes you wonder how the rooms are cleaned if this is how they clean the breakfast area.

The bed was super soft, but the pillows have lumps that you have to rearrange to your liking. It states there’s a continental breakfast which is a lie. There are waffles and such that you can toast. There’s other assorted non hot food items. The only plus about the drinks is you have access 24/7. The walls are paper thin and the bed frames are noisy. Also, on check out day, your key deactivates itself apparently. I got locked out of my room an hour before check out while I was packing my car and my dog was still inside. I was issued a key no problem, but still had anxiety not being able to get in. There’s only two hotel options and this is the better one.

What I didn’t like is the breakfast was pretty meager. Other customers said when they went to lobby to eat there was no food. I think food was some type of bread. Also there is no closet or drawer place to unpack or hang your clothes. This place is overpriced for what you get.

We have stayed at this location many times and it is always a great experience. The staff is very friendly and always clean at a great price. They are doing updates at this location so the dining room/kitchen was a little in disarray. The breakfast wasn't as good as it normally is.

Great Hotel but the breakfast was sorta lame to what Comfort Suites offer. Cereal, muffins, bagels, coffee, juices.

The entrance was dark and smelled strongly of disinfectant or are deodorizer. Front doors were open. There desk clerk was on duty in an office area behind the desk. She arrived and asked for a credit card - no greeting or hello - just the card. I presented my iPhone from which I had already paid for the room. It didn't work so I tried a few more cards. Failed. The young girl said she had to call her manager. I was frustrated and said something like. "Yeah, go ahead and call the damn manager." This seemed to offend the clerk and she instructed me to not use profanity around her. After awhile she said the manager was in her car and would be in to fix the problem. I asked to have the reservation cancelled and left my email to get notification that I was going to be refunded. I've not heard from anyone. I was disapointed on all levels, especially the attitude and the falure of staff to understand how to use a credit card machine.

Clean, well maintained hotel. Room was great, the staff were friendly and even checked us in early. If we find our way back there we'll be sure to use their facilities again.

I was disappointed that the property does not have a pool, but I know that is a huge investment for any property. However, a small fitness center would be an appreciated addition. Even though a hot breakfast was not included, I enjoyed the ability to have access to the breakfast room drinks and snacks throughout the day. The location of the property made it very convenient to get to downtown events and the nearby markets.
