When booking this hotel, I knew I wasn't going to get the Four Seasons, but I was really hopeful that it would work for our weekend stay. Upon arrival, I was greeted at the front desk and allowed to check in to the room about an hour early! Stepping into the room, I got a little nervous, though. The whole room (and building) is clearly very old and haven't always had perfect maintainence. I forgot this fact and I was shocked when the place wasn't perfectly fresh. After consideration, though, it looked quite cozy considering the type of building and the price point I booked it at. The blankets have clearly been used many times, but were perfectly clean and ready to go. The furniture had some minor wear and tear, but were still perfectly good for use. The electric out lets were kind of inconvenient for my companions who use a CPAP machine to sleep. The outlets were either behind the beds (which could easily be moved) or on the opposite side of the bed from the nightstand. We made it work just fine, though. The bathroom is small and well used, but clean and tidy. Heads up, they do not provide a hair dryer, so be prepared! The kitchen was small, but usable. It had a gas stove, oven, microwave, and fridge/freezer. It doesn't come stocked with cooking utensils, but they are available for loan/purchase at the front desk.
