The cabin was very clean. We enjoyed barbecuing on the patio. We only used the hot tub once. The lid to the hot tub had a pretty strong mildew odor and the jets didn’t all work. That was somewhat disappointing but overall we had a wonderful time.

Location was really convenient off I-57 and about 5 miles from town. Property was very clean which is especially impressive for being pet friendly. Very charming log cabin. Hot tub was in working order and well maintained. Absoloutely no major issues. However, the kitchen is not for you if you plan to cook a lot. There is no dishwasher, the oven is a countertop pizza oven (very nice high end one), the stove is a 2 burner hot plate, refrigerator is small. If you have visions of making stacks of pancakes for a bunch of hungry kids, this is probably not the place for you. There are some good restaurants located nearby, and who really wants to do dishes when there's a hot tub only steps from the kitchen? This is perfect for a quick, weekend getaway if you plan on hitting the wineries and the restaurants in the area. The working hot tub was what my wife wanted while I went out fishing in some of the coldest weather I've seen there in the spring. Coming back to defrost in the hot tub was wonderful. The fireplace (gas) was also a nice touch. We enjoyed ourselves and you will too so long as you don't plan on hosting a Pampered Chef party.

If you want to just chill this is your place! Very clean, and cozy. Hot tub, grill and fire pit all worked and helped make our weekend enjoyable. Wrap around deck was a great place to have morning coffee and watch the wildlife. We loved this place and will definitely go back!

Just what we have been looking for! Already booked our next stay. We have been trying different places in the area for a few years. This one caught our eye because it had a Hot Tub AND dog friendly! It was perfect! 2 beds/ 2 baths. (Only needed one bedroom for this trip.) Kitchen area was adequate even without a full stove. It had a gas grill, double hot plate, microwave and air fryer. Tub appeared older worked fine. Close enough to town for delivery service and still far enough out. A short drive to hiking locations.

I very much enjoyed the amenities of this stay. Fireplace, hottub, bonfire, and grill. The property managers were very nice and helpful. I will say that the technology (TV) was pretty outdated and the beds and loud and uncomfortable. Otherwise it's a very lovely place.

We had a wonderful stay at Adam’s Rock Cabin. The beds were comfortable, sheets were soft and pillows were great as well. The cottage was well appointed and easy for our friend to navigate w her scooter. The wrap around deck was fabulous. We didn’t try the jacuzzi as it was really too hot out. I highly recommend this property.

Lovely cabin. We were amazed at how many stars we could see at night - too much ambient light where we're from. We only stayed 2 nights, but it was perfect - we never left! One item to note is that the gas grill works, but it needs some TLC - it's pretty rusted out.

My husband and I love the Carbondale, IL area. This was the first time we stayed in Anna and we were not disappointed. The location of this cabin was close enough to highway for easy access to hiking and town but not so close that it was too loud. The cabin itself was wonderful. Bathrooms were spacious and very nice. The bedrooms were clean and spacious as well. The mattresses were definitely on the firm side which wasn't perfect for us but may be for some. The kitchen has all the essentials but be aware that there is no stove, just a hot plate, microwave, crock pot and toaster oven. There is a nice gas grill available on the back deck which is all we needed so that was perfect. The hot tub was clean and very much appreciated on the private back deck. Overall, we were very pleased with this nice little cabin tucked in the woods. We'd definitely stay again!

This was a beautiful cabin and perfect for a getaway. We enjoyed the scenery and location to nearby hiking trails and state parks. Some of the appliances were old and lightbulbs were out that made the cabin extra dark inside. But otherwise all amenities were provided for and we had a great time. Note the cabin does face a moderately busy road, lots of cars coming and going in the summer. But did not affect our stay. We would return here!

The good: The cabin was clean and additional touches like books, games, and decorations were nice. The kitchen amenities were limited but we were able to make do with the air fryer. The porch was a great place to watch the rain and the hot tub was a great place to relax. The property was awesome and would be best to enjoy in the fall. The not so good: The highway noise was a tad loud at times. The bed and pillows were uncomfortable.

I very much enjoyed the amenities of this stay. Fireplace, hottub, bonfire, and grill. The property managers were very nice and helpful. I will say that the technology (TV) was pretty outdated and the beds and loud and uncomfortable. Otherwise it's a very lovely place.

Cabin had everything you need for a relaxing getaway. It was conveniently located near both the wineries and the hiking trails. Great hot tub!

The cabin was clean comfortable and ideal for two couples. The location was conveniently near Anna and the interstate to make make travel easy.

Just what we have been looking for! Already booked our next stay. We have been trying different places in the area for a few years. This one caught our eye because it had a Hot Tub AND dog friendly! It was perfect! 2 beds/ 2 baths. (Only needed one bedroom for this trip.) Kitchen area was adequate even without a full stove. It had a gas grill, double hot plate, microwave and air fryer. Tub appeared older worked fine. Close enough to town for delivery service and still far enough out. A short drive to hiking locations.

My husband and I love the Carbondale, IL area. This was the first time we stayed in Anna and we were not disappointed. The location of this cabin was close enough to highway for easy access to hiking and town but not so close that it was too loud. The cabin itself was wonderful. Bathrooms were spacious and very nice. The bedrooms were clean and spacious as well. The mattresses were definitely on the firm side which wasn't perfect for us but may be for some. The kitchen has all the essentials but be aware that there is no stove, just a hot plate, microwave, crock pot and toaster oven. There is a nice gas grill available on the back deck which is all we needed so that was perfect. The hot tub was clean and very much appreciated on the private back deck. Overall, we were very pleased with this nice little cabin tucked in the woods. We'd definitely stay again!

We had a wonderful stay at Adam’s Rock Cabin. The beds were comfortable, sheets were soft and pillows were great as well. The cottage was well appointed and easy for our friend to navigate w her scooter. The wrap around deck was fabulous. We didn’t try the jacuzzi as it was really too hot out. I highly recommend this property.
