El houch الحوش (2 minutos da praia)

This apartment is even better than the pictures. Two beautiful terraces and lovely inside too. Moktar is a great host, communicates with you very quickly and has made a lot of effort to make this a special place to stay - lots of vintage Tunisia artefacts everywhere. But with a good shower too! We loved being here. A very short walk to the beach and turn left and a ten minute walk along the sand to a beachside place for breakfast. There a re food shops and restaurants a 20 minute walk away or a two minute ride in the group taxis that go frequently from the end of the road and cost pennies. Get a local SIM card, download Bolt - like Uber - and get very cheap cabs to Sousse. I know I sound like an advert for this place but we've been to lots of apartments to stay and this was one of our favourites, already planning when we can go back.
