We loved the coziness of the cottage! We loved the back porch and yard! It was a short walk to the lake front and a nice relaxing walk to town. The beds were very comfy and the kitchen had everything you would need!

Loved staying at Butterfly Cottage! Walking distance to old town and 2 areas of lake access through beautiful, established neighborhood. Plenty of room for our family and dog, cute little backyard with tree swing and pond. Neighbors were very welcoming and friendly. Our son uses a manual wheelchair and after we helped him up the first 2 small steps into the home, the first floor living area and bedroom worked well for him. Bathroom isn’t truly accessible, but worked for him/us as we help him with all care, but an independent wheelchair user would likely find bathroom access challenging. Overall wonderful stay!

The house was well-stocked with everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The large dining table was great for the seven of us to eat together and play games. The living room area with a large TV was another great gathering place. All appliances, hot water, showers, and toilets worked well. Clean and fresh towels were provided, and beds were comfortable and professionally made. The backyard is very peaceful and picturesque.

Butterfly Cottage was perfect for our group of five adults who spent a week relaxing and sight seeing in and around NOTL and Niagara Falls. The house is very spacious and the backyard, where we enjoyed a couple of barbecues, is a true oasis. The bedrooms were ample in size and the beds were very comfortable. We also appreciated the proximity to Lake Ontario where we strolled in the evening and watched the sunset.

The house was great for 8 people and back yard was a hit with the kids. They loved the tree swing and Koy pond. Very nice location a block from the lake in a residential neighborhood. Decent walk or quick drive to shopping and restaurants. The host was very attentive and they went above and beyond in helping us retrieve an item we left behind. Awesome place and we had a wonderful time!

Perfect for 4 ladies on a girl’s getaway Well located to NOTL shopping and Queen Street Quiet safe feeling neighbourhood Short walk to the lake and a lovely path that goes along the lake and golf course. Quiet restful back deck and sitting area. Great beds, nicely decorated, comfy sitting room, open concept made for easy meal prep without missing out on conversation in the sitting area. Well appointed kitchen with thoughtful starters supplied :) Loved the lavender soap/shampoo that was supplied as well. Great water pressure in the shower, and a wonderful claw foot tub upstairs. This is my second time staying at The Butterfly Cottage in Niagara. The location is perfect- a block from the lake and an easy walk to Old Town. The cottage itself is clean, cozy, and well maintained. The owners just did a complete upstairs bathroom renovation, and it looks so good! We enjoyed sitting at the large dining room table, and playing games in front of the gas fireplace. The beds are very comfortable, too! We plan to make NOL an annual trip, and I will always stay at the Butterfly Cottage.

We had a wonderful time at Niagara on the lake. The butterfly cottage was perfect location with the ability to walk to queen street. The house layout suited our needs perfectly. Would have been nice if the grass was cut and there were little sweet ants on the kitchen counter above the dishwasher so we had to be sure to use the other counter space. We figured that out after the first day so it was manageable. Even with that said I would still recommend the house.

Spent 3 nights at this property with my sisters. It was a well stocked, clean property with liads of room. The bedroo.s were soacious and very comfortable. Loved the upstairs bathroom.Would recommend this property.

Very nice and exactly like pictured and contained all you might need for a few days. Comfortable beds.Unfortunately the first impression was not great , front of house had not been cleaned for a while. There were many spiderwebs and dead insects around windows.

We loved the "cottage", it was fully stocked with supplies which we really appreciated! Very clean with lots of seating areas inside and out. Good quality linens and towels. There were 7 of us and felt there was plenty of room for us all. The only thing I would point out is the shower upstairs is a claw foot tub with a shower curtain around it. Those of us using that bathroom found it a bit of a hazard when in the shower as the curtain was long and you were stepping on it while showering as you couldn\'t have it outside of the tub. It was about a 25 min walk to most restaurants which as fine as we needed the walk after dinner. Would definitely recommend staying here with a group of family or friends.

Cute home in a beautiful quiet neighbourhood! The property was very clean and had a lot of character. 5 minute walk from the waterfront with views of Toronto skyline in the distance. Walking distance to Queen street with shops + restaurants.

Pros: - Close proximity to Queen Street with shops and restaurants - Quiet neighborhood - 10 min walk to the entrance of the walking trail along Lake Ontario - The cottage was clean, charming, and plenty of room for all 6 of us - 1st floor bathroom had excellent water pressure Cons: - The HVAC on the 2nd floor whistled when starting up. - 1st floor bathroom: no anti-slip mat in the tub/shower and no handle inside for the elderly. - 2nd floor bathroom: No anti-slip mat but there is a handle mounted to the wall to help get in and out, however it still felt a little risky. The tub is a freestanding cast iron with a retrofitted shower. We found adjusting the water temperature to be finicky.

We truly enjoyed our stay. Great location, 2 blocks away from the water or an easy walk into the main shopping area on Queen Street. The property is well maintained, very clean with plenty of space. During our stay the coffee maker stopped working. One call to the number listed on the welcome sheet got us a replacement that same morning. I would definitely stay here again!

The management company was quick to respond to my inquiries although I would have preferred receiving the check-in codes the day before our arrival rather than same day. It made the process slightly more stressful since we were already in transit by the time we had the information. The home was well stocked with comfortable beds and good kitchen amenities. We were able to prepare meals and enjoy relaxation time in the large dining / living room area. The home was a 20 minute walk to historic downtown which gave our group the option to walk or drive. The house was great for 8 people and back yard was a hit with the kids. They loved the tree swing and Koy pond. Very nice location a block from the lake in a residential neighborhood. Decent walk or quick drive to shopping and restaurants. The host was very attentive and they went above and beyond in helping us retrieve an item we left behind. Awesome place and we had a wonderful time!

Cute home in a beautiful quiet neighbourhood! The property was very clean and had a lot of character. 5 minute walk from the waterfront with views of Toronto skyline in the distance. Walking distance to Queen street with shops + restaurants.

Perfect for 4 ladies on a girl’s getaway Well located to NOTL shopping and Queen Street Quiet safe feeling neighbourhood Short walk to the lake and a lovely path that goes along the lake and golf course. Quiet restful back deck and sitting area. Great beds, nicely decorated, comfy sitting room, open concept made for easy meal prep without missing out on conversation in the sitting area. Well appointed kitchen with thoughtful starters supplied :) Loved the lavender soap/shampoo that was supplied as well. Great water pressure in the shower, and a wonderful claw foot tub upstairs. Just the perfect home! Would come back in a heartbeat! Thanks

This is my second time staying at The Butterfly Cottage in Niagara. The location is perfect- a block from the lake and an easy walk to Old Town. The cottage itself is clean, cozy, and well maintained. The owners just did a complete upstairs bathroom renovation, and it looks so good! We enjoyed sitting at the large dining room table, and playing games in front of the gas fireplace. The beds are very comfortable, too! We plan to make NOL an annual trip, and I will always stay at the Butterfly Cottage.

Everything was perfect and as described! I hadn’t realized the exact location …. Over a mile to the Shaw festival events. However the weather was beautiful and we were glad to be able to walk it.

We had such a wonderful at the Butterfly cottage. The property was very clean, plenty of room for all five of us and in a great location. We will definitely be back again. The house is located with an easy walk to town. The backyard was beautiful.

The house is beautiful! The beds were all cozy and lovely decor in each room. Perfect location. We enjoyed walking along the waterfront and shopping on Queen St, all so close-by! We did have ants in the kitchen, so want you to be aware for future guests, and the kettle lid didn’t close. But we were impressed with all the appliances and kitchen utensils you provided. We had everything we needed. We didn’t see any butterflies! Overall, we were very pleased and comfortable having our bachelorette weekend in your lovely home!

The property is beautiful and in a great location about a kilometre walk from the downtown. House was clean and bedrooms were a good size. Kitchen is well equipped but could use some good coffee and some sugar There were ants on the counter so we kept our food in the fridge We had a great time
