Parking is mMAJOR problem when town is busy! Should provide parking for all at all times. At 93 do not want to have to seek parking. ONLY ONE HANDICAP SPACE. Still really like the hotel and food.

Great place to stay if you’d like to be car free for a night or weekend. Hunters Tavern fed us delicious food, with the ability to sit inside or out, or take meals to the room. The town is walkable and full of restaurants and shops. The attached spa can provide a massage for a special occasion or stress fix. The hotel also offers a few cool spaces to hand out: a “library,” a spot hosting jazz music on weekend nights and a lovely outdoor courtyard.

Went into town short notice and was charmed by the beautiful Christmas tree, wreaths, and gorgeous fireplaces. The staff made me feel like no request was too small and they were genuinely delighted to assist me. Can't wait to return.

Mattress was uncomfortable and had dip in low back region; should evaluate need for new mattress. Clean bedding, pillows flat. Shower pressure low. Nevertheless, had enjoyable experience.

Check in for this hotel is 4 pm. We arrived around 11:30 am to park the car, have lunch and see some of the town. Stopped at the front desk and they actually checked us in early!!! Room was small but clean. No fridge, and the heat is controlled by a central unit somewhere not by the thermostat in the room. Got a little chilly overnight and found that the temp was 66!

Check in for this hotel is 4 pm. We arrived around 11:30 am to park the car, have lunch and see some of the town. Stopped at the front desk and they actually checked us in early!!! The Tidewater is a gem! Every staff member was above and beyond professional and helpful. The renovated rooms were very clean and comfortable. Loved the renovation. Food and service at Hunters was excellent.

The Inn is beautiful!! The people working there were friendly and helpful!! The Tavern had great service as well as food and drinks!! My one complaint is that there were no small refrigerators in the rooms, so we ended up having to throw out our food leftovers.

Stayed here our second time (first visit was last year for a wedding) this past Friday. Room we had this time was smaller (even when we booked a King suite), no mini-fridge, no closet (only give you one small wall hook for your garments), and very thin walls (heard ALL of our neighbors activities the entire stay). Breakfast buffet wasn't all that hot for $30, and to top it off they double charged me even after I paid Hotels.com for the room. Won't be back.

There is a lot to love about The Tidewater Inn. Great walkable location, beautiful building, charming town. The room was nicely furnished and comfortable. The big problem? Noise. We could hear every discussion and greeting from the hall in our room. do something to muffle the noise and It'll definitely be 5 stars.

The front desk staff was exceptional. Recommendations for what to do where to go. There was a music venue in front of the hotel on Saturday nights. Delightful evening. Ate at the restaurant on-site Hunter’s Tavern. Delicious and service was outstanding. Definitely would stay here again

It was a lovely stay at Tidewater. I went with three friends for a girls’ weekend. The staff accommodated our request to have adjoining rooms which made it special. We had brunch at the restaurant onsite. They had someone playing music outside and a great ambiance. We called for additional towels and to open the adjoining rooms. The staff responded immediately.

The staff was amazing!! There were 2 gentlemen at the desk when we checked in, both were very welcoming and helpful. We arrived late for an event at the Avalon Theater due to bad weather and traffic, and they were kind enough to let us park in front of the hotel until after the show. They didn't want us to miss anymore of the show than we already had!

We arrived on bicycles and had a great stay. Ate dinner and breakfast at the Tavern. Wonderful crab cakes and scrapple. The Tidewater is in the center of Easton and the whole town is easily accessible.

Fabulous location in Easton. Also great service by the staff. Suggestions: need bar soap in the bathroom and hooks to hang towels, bathrobe, etc in bathroom. Also the closet had only two available hangers. The other one hanger had the terry cloth robe on it. In addition, during our stay there was no breakfast was available until 10:30 am.

Room we had this time was smaller (even when we booked a King suite), no mini-fridge, no closet (only give you one small wall hook for your garments), and very thin walls (heard ALL of our neighbors activities the entire stay). Breakfast buffet wasn't all that hot for $30, and to top it off they double charged me even after I paid Hotels.com for the room. Won't be back.

We arrived on bicycles and had a great stay. Ate dinner and breakfast at the Tavern. Wonderful crab cakes and scrapple. The Tidewater is in the center of Easton and the whole town is easily accessible.

The dinner at the Hunter's inn was excellent. It would be nice if they had full-service breakfast during the week. The bed was quite large and comfortable. The bathroom was TOO small!!! I could barely fit in there. The cable reception was horrible!!!

The Tidewater is a gem! Every staff member was above and beyond professional and helpful. The renovated rooms were very clean and comfortable. Loved the renovation. Food and service at Hunters was excellent.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Wonderful Birthday Getaway! We had a wonderful stay at The Tidewater Inn for my spouse’s birthday weekend. Our room was clean, spacious, comfortable, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. The location is one of the best parts of the property...you’re within walking distance of historic sites, great restaurants, shops, and trails, with several spa and wellness options nearby. We really enjoyed being able to park the car and explore downtown Easton on foot. The area has so much charm, and The Tidewater Inn puts you right in the center of it while still providing a peaceful place to relax at the end of the day. From enjoying room service in the morning to exploring the town and nearby restaurants, everything came together for a memorable weekend. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend The Tidewater Inn for a romantic weekend, birthday celebration, or relaxing Eastern Shore getaway! ❤️

The size of the showers can be quite small/tight and can vary room to room. Room was comfortable and quiet. Bathroom needs more counter space. Coffee was very good! Location is very convenient.

The room was clean and a nice size. Bathrooms were small, but practical and very clean. Water pressure in the shower was great! Hotel is centrally located so that you can walk to many restaurants and shops.

The location was great and property was very well kept and accommodating. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Had a great dinner at restaurant on property. Room was comfortable but bathroom very tight with no counter space for use of toiletries. I know it is a historic property with limited space but that would be on my wish list to make getting ready much easier!

The Inn is located in the middle of downtown Easton, which made site-seeing easy. The atmosphere is what I was looking for - a bit of history. All of downtown Easton is historic. It would be nice if there was a food tour through the downtown area
