Nice room but construction everywhere

It would have been nice to be informed that the property was under renovation. At this point it should not be open . There’s no seating area, it’s noisy, it’s filthy and unsafe.

I was unaware until after I checked in that the hotel was under renovation. The gym was closed, there were no vending machines available, and my room wasn’t furnished. I did not have a phone, an alarm clock, or any lamps. The whole room was lit but the kitchen ceiling light. There were no available plates or anything in the kitchen, and the toilet ran nonstop. When the maid came she said that they must have forgotten to put everything back after they renovated. That room looked like the 80s threw up in it, I saw no evident of renovations.

This hotel has been under construction for over a year. No notice was offered when booking. Every piece of furniture in the lobby is covered with plastic. Blue painters tape is on every wall, on every floor. Cardboard and wood cover doors and floors. Plastic is all over the floors. Elevators are covered in construction table. The lobby is filled with dust and construction debris. I’m not sure how they are allowed to actually rent out their rooms. The room looks like a construction crew was in here today. Furniture is disgusting. Floor is filthy. Not one hanger. One small bar of soap, no shampoo, no conditioner. Extremely dissatisfied and zero recourse. Staff doesn’t seem to care one bit. Do NOT book this hotel!

Staff is very attentive and professional. Property is undergoing renovation. Can't wait to see it after the renovation is complete.

Horrible stay. Hotel is under renovation all over the place. Lobby was a mess and exercise room was not done or able to be used because of construction. Breakfast area was a mess. Room was missing alarm clock, coffee maker, shampoo or anything in kitchen. Bathroom was dirty, carpet had stains. We had 5 of us in room with two beds and pull out bed and had to ask for more towels because they only provided two. Bedding was missing for pullout bed. Found a live bug on bathroom counter. Breakfast was coffee, granola bar, oatmeal or muffin. Paid for the stay and asked Expedia for some sort of discount because we did not get what we paid for as advertised and was denied.

The place was very convenient for us as we booked last minute (same week). The service was spot on, everyone was very nice and friendly. However, the place was under construction (hence my rating), it wasn’t terrible I’d just wish we’d known beforehand. It’s definitely going to be very nice and 5 stars once that’s done!

The room had recently been renovated. It was very nice. The common areas were still being renovated.

While they had signs around the hotel to “excuse their mess” during renovations, the inside of my room was dirty. That should t have anything to do with the renovation. Bathroom and kitchen area was dirty. Won’t stay here again.

On first impressions this hotel looks very good, however as it is situated on a junction, there is a lot of traffic noise and courtyard view rooms have noisy air conditioning units outside which are also noisy. Our bathroom was dirty on arrival with hair in the sink and shower. We stayed 5 nights and had no bed linen change and fresh towels only once. Toilet rolls are like gold dust and I had to request one from reception. Worse of all is security. Our room had the door left open all day on once occasion and due to the fact there is no safe in the room we were very lucky not to lose anything. There appears to be very small lock boxes behind the reception desk which offers no privacy whatsoever. Would I recommend this hotel? NO. Would I stay there again? Not even if I was paid to do so.

Got checked into our room the was black hair all in our bed. They moved us to another room and hair all in that bed too and bathroom. Moved us to a third room and was never cleaned, sheets on floor food every where. We left want money back and never found another place and had to stay in car

Clean room, excellent and clean kitchen, comfortable and cozy . Friendly and professional staff, breakfast with healthy choices. I enjoyed every bit of my stay.

Staff was friendly enough…..if you could find them. There is a buzzer at the front desk that must be for decoration since nobody comes when you push the button. You have to walk around and look for a staff member, and this happened a few times. We had to find someone to check us in. When we got to our room, our key didn’t work, and then we had to wait again to find someone to reprogram the key (I saw 2 other people with the same issue with non-working keys). I went down to the desk for a 3rd time to ask if we could have 3 towels/3 washcloths (we had 5 in our party and were only given 2. The lady told me that I needed to bring the dirty towels back and exchange for clean ones. She ended up giving me the towels when I told her that we didn’t have enough for our group. The room was not cleaned. The bed linens were changed and seemed clean. But there was hair in the bathroom (on the toilet, sink, shower), and it did not appear that anything was wiped down. The breakfast was “grab and go” which consisted of watery coffee, oatmeal packs and danishes that were still frozen. This was appropriate for grab and go so you could grab your pasty and go while it thawed out. We will not stay here again.

I have never left a review on a hotel stay before but this was purely unacceptable. While I know this was a value priced hotel, the conditions were the worst I’ve ever experienced. The hotel was being renovated so I can look past the dust and mess everywhere. My room and bathroom were not cleaned from the previous stay. I had black hair in the shower and on the bathroom sink. There was broken glass in my hallway and could have easily cut someone’s foot. There was no drinking water on property and this experience was just not acceptable for any hotel of any caliber. I would please have some contact me about my stay

This place was having extensive work done. It was dirty, dusty. They finished working around 4-5 pm, but didn't clean up after that. Debris was all over. The room didn't look or feel clean. YOU SHOULD HAVE MADE A NOTE IN THE WEB SITE THAT THE HOTEL WAS UNDERGOING EXTENSIVE CONSTRUCTION. If I had known this we would have gone elsewhere. We need to trust that your presentation of a property is accurate. This it was not.

On a good note, the front desk staff were very nice trying to accommodate my request for a room close to the elevator since my traveling companion had a walker. Due to renovations, the number of rooms was limited and we still had to walk a bit down the hall from the elevator. We were given a room with a full kitchen that has been renovated but it came only with towels, 2 bars of soap, and a partial tissue box. To be fair, when I checked in, they did tell me that the kitchen was not equipped and to ask for what I needed. I had to ask for a remote for the TV, bedding for the sofa bed, tissues, utensils, and plates. They did not have any paper towels. I was not impressed with the newly renovated room for the following reasons: - there were no chairs in the kitchen/dining area - the sofa bed was strictly a sofa where one person could sleep (I was expecting a pull-out couch) - the lighting was terrible – all rooms had few lights and were very dark - the bath towels were small - there was no TV in the living room (just in the bedroom) Also, the luggage cart was very difficult to maneuver, and the free breakfast was just granola bars and coffee (there were muffins but only one was left). The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the room was very clean. Perhaps this will be a nice place when the renovations are done, but I do not recommend it now.

Going through renovations, but the room itself was exactly what I wanted. The room had a kitchen with a stove, microwave, and full refrigerator/freezer. Had a big flat screen TV, bed, and couch/table area to just chill. Had everything I wanted in a hotel room. It’s great if you wanted to temporarily live there until you got an apartment. Free WiFi and also breakfast.

The room was clean and fairly large making it a comfortable stay. Breakfast was skimpy which was fine and still got us on our way.

it seems that this hotel is in the process of a remodel. it looks good, but there are no lights in the main bedroom, no waste basket in bathroom and no toilet paper holder

Paid for a queen, room only had a full. Floor was sticky and gross. Non smoking room, but smelled like smoke covered up with scented spray. Bathroom vanity door was broken at some point and replaced upside down.and backwoods. Kitchen cabinet was pulling away from the wall. Will be pursuing a partial refund with question.

Under construction. Noise level high due to construction early in the morning (including construction trucks and dumpsters filling parking lot). All entrances unsecured. One light in kitchen. Poor lighting in bathroom. No lights or lamps in the rest of the room (sitting area or bed).

The property was under construction which I didn't know. The rooms were small and the lighting in the rooms was very poor, no light above the mirror in the bathroom and the bed only had one light on one side of the bed. The bed size was small it only had one double bed which I expected 2-according to the picture and pull out couch. We will never go back.

Very poor service. My initial checkout request accepted by the manager at the front desk for 1.00pm on Friday was declined after I confirmed on Saturday around 9.00am. Manager hung up the phone abruptly on me during our chat on Saturday. I also did not get an email from her of my invoice I requested during my check out. I provided my email address.. Toilet had poop in it. Very disgusting.

The two women at the front desk are absolutely angels. They went above and beyond to help my husband and self. The suite was nice, the shower was AMAZING.

Great feont desk. MS Cindy is always a warm welcome. Cleaned and got a room ready for me after hours. Wonderul hospitality

A/C unit is on a timer system. Prefer system be adjusted to be more flexible for the user.

The exterior of the hotel was nice looking. They are obviously making efforts toward renovating the property so I need to be mindful of that. Upon arrival, front desk staff were no where in sight. I waited a while and then called out but no answer. Then I noticed an intercom with a note to press a button for service, yet no answer. I called the phone number on hotels.com website and was able to ring the front desk. No one came. I called again and got to speak to a general customer service representative but they informed me they no longer owned the property and could not help me. This was concerning and I almost left to find a new hotel. After a long wait, and with some help, someone finally came. They were wonderful and made up for the wait! The room was missing lamps, a tv remote controller, and a trash can. The bed was very nice and I feel that was the best part of the room. There was a moldy, or cat pee smell that I could not get rid of. The kitchen wasn’t used was in need of updating as well. The walls and closet were newly painted and finished. Shower leaked but was newly renovated and was nice. The toilet ran all the time! It was leaking and dirty with old toilet paper stuck to the rim when it should have been cleaner. The sink basin has toothpaste in it from the prior visitors. The carpet needed replaced and I was not comfortable going barefoot. We only stayed one night, and if I was staying any longer, I would have ask for a new room or booked somewhere else.

Beautiful growing area. Easy access to old town. Safe property with helpful staff.

The location was excellent and the property felt very safe. Lots of construction going on around the property. I could tell renovations of rooms was in progress. Beds were comfortable, it was nice to have a kitchenette and staff was really nice!

Conveniently located

Good location to Annapolis. Very friendly and helpful staff. Location in a business park, so clean and quiet. Hotel is basic, clean and all you need really. Good for the price.

Quiet an affordable

The hotel was a little hard to find. Also the shower did not have hand-grab bars so it was a little unsafe for older folks.

Most disappointing breakfast: granola bars, corn muffin, oatmeal, hot cocoa. Hotel did not have any extra toothbrushes which was weird and the property seemed to be empty.

The property is under construction and we were not told ahead of time. The smoke detectors were covered with tape. There was not a coffee maker, coffee cups, coffee, clock or phone in the room. There was a vent in the bathroom but no way to turn it on. When we asked about a coffee maker the clerk provided one but said we had to provide our own coffee. The "breakfast" was coffee (with ground floating in it) and a small tray of mini muffins. Not the continental breakfast advertised.

They claim they have breakfast but it’s instant oatmeal (with no bowls!) and muffins. The room was decent, large and clean. Great for the price. The hallways were dirty, especially the floor but the room was very nice.

It was to have a breakfast included. It only had regular coffee, hot water for tea, oatmeal packs and very small muffins and protein bars. Very disappointing. It took a bit to ring for attendant to check us in when we arrived.

Breakfast could be better. Ice machines needed Needs some updated. Staff is very nice.

Hotel was under renovation, so construction work was ongoing and there was noise throughout. Breakfast was meager, to say the least, and there was no unflavored creamer for coffee. Still, the room was big enough and comfortable, staff provided whatever we needed, and the TV worked well.
