This hotel was not as represented in the photos. Although it has been through some remodeling the lobby and bar areas are shabby. I had to change from a larger room to a smaller one due to a broken window shade but neither Hotels.com nor the hotel itself would agree to refund the price difference to me. Instead I was given coupons for free drinks and breakfast, which I really didn’t want. Also, I got moved to the 12th floor and on the busiest day there one elevator was out of service and the other one wouldn’t close without kicking the door a few times. Pretty inconvenient as the hotel was full that night. Most staff was friendly and helpful and it was nice to be able to walk to several restaurants.

I had a pretty disappointing stay at Q&C Hotel in New Orleans. The biggest issue was the A/C — it couldn’t be properly adjusted, and the room stayed uncomfortably cold throughout the entire night. It made it hard to get any real rest, which is the bare minimum expectation for a hotel stay. The bathroom was also much smaller than expected, feeling cramped and not very functional. On top of that, the shower design was frustrating — it only had a partial glass panel instead of a fully enclosed door, which led to water getting everywhere and made the whole setup feel poorly thought out. Overall, the hotel has some charm, but the lack of comfort and practical design really took away from the experience.

Clean, stylish, comfortable room. Great walking location to Jackson Square, Bourbon Street, street car stop locations, restaurants (dinner and breakfast cafes) and shopping. Safe area. Front desk staff helpful and efficient with check in/out and arranging taxi pickup. Did not try hotel breakfast though saw others enjoying it. Gym was stuffy (not good airflow) but served its purpose with several machines available.

Most of the staff was helpful, with the exception of a couple but otherwise great. The entire building smelled amazing!! Beds were comfortable. Good walking distance to Canal & Bourbon Street. Highly recommend.
