Easy check-in, staff is friendly. Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Nice to have a quality restaurant on site. Reasonable rates and the pool and grounds were well maintained. Will stay here again for sure.

Staff was very friendly. Accommodation’s were clean and well maintained. The pool area was clean and spacious. Pool had a depth of 31/2 to 5 1/2 feet. It (pool) was large and the grandchildren enjoyed playing with lots of space not intrude on others also in the pool.

The grounds are stunning especially with the large trees at the entrance. The staff is delightful and very helpful. Room was extremely clean and the air conditioning was already cut down for my comfort. Would definitely stay here again.

I was very impressed with the lobby of the hotel as well as the room accommodations. Housekeeping was top notch as well and was a truly pleasant surprise. I'll definitely return! :)

The check process was super fast. The room was clean and comfortable. I had a double queen room and it was very nice. The room is not huge, but plenty comfortable for one or two people. The bathroom is spacious and clean with a big shower. The room was quiet and I did not hear any noise through the walls or windows. The bed was very comfortable (perfect firmness for me) and not \'hard" like I have seen beds described. Highly recommend and I can see why it rates a 9 here. Breakfast is included. It was grits, eggs, potatoes, sausage, and cereal. Not a huge selection, but enough to get you going. Super friendly staff!

NOT worth the hype. Motel is more like it. Similiar to Motel 8. During my stay the power went out about 2 hrs after my arrival. No communication from staff. No one answered the phone. Nor discounted the stay. In short, paid to sit in the dark, went to sleep early and left early. Do not recommend.

Wasn’t pleasss at all . Check ok was good . Entered the room it was good bath before trying to relax and power went out .wasn’t in the room am hour . Went to front desk amd was told that they didn’t know when the lights will be restored I told the clerk I have a machine that needs electricity. I couldn’t stay there o was told to check back in the am to speak with managed because she couldn’t refund me and it was out of the hotels control . They had no control over the power . There weren’t any other power outages working the area except the hotel

Adriana at the front desk was so nice and helpful. We were a late check in and she accommodated us as best she could while trying to go above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and comfortable. Issues we had were minor and not worth mentioning because I have been to places that cost a fortune, less accommodation and staff were the worst. Highlight was having a Mike Anderson’s restaurant on site for breakfast in the morning. Some reviews complained about the rooms being outside, but I actually loved the fact that I was able to walk out of the room and straight into my car. Definitely will be returning.

Great location between New Orleans and Baton Rogue. The grounds are nice and the restaurant was good. Staff was not very friendly and the lady managing the meager breakfast really needs to find a different job. She was very unfriendly and generally seemed like she hated her job. Otherwise, the room was fine and there were enough other things near the hotel that made it good enough.

My stay was fantastic there. My only issue is the front desk staff. I dealt with two staff members during my stay. One was absolutely fantastic and personable, the other was very curt and unapproachable.

We stopped here in our way back from Florida for an overnight stop. The front desk was les than friendly when I checked in late night. I'm not sure why because I was very friendly but the attendant clearly didn't want to be there. The property is very battered but our room was actually pretty clean and nice. I typically stay at higher end hotels so my opinion may be biased. For the price it was ok for an overnight. You get what you pay for.

This is an older property but is excellently maintained. The only complaint is that the quality and quantity of the breakfast seems to be slipping. We arrived 1/2 hour before breakfast was over to find items on the breakfast bar gone (fried potatoes and scrambled eggs). When I asked the server she said they were out.

Really enjoyed our stay! Clean room. No issues with staff or parking or finding somewhere good to eat. The breakfast was delicious and something different everyday protein wise. Didn’t get to try the restaurant in the hotel but based off the cars we seen every night we will definitely try next time!

Great location between New Orleans and Baton Rogue. The grounds are nice and the restaurant was good. Staff was not very friendly and the lady managing the meager breakfast really needs to find a different job. She was very unfriendly and generally seemed like she hated her job. Otherwise, the room was fine and there were enough other things near the hotel that made it good enough.

Great place to stay!!! We have family in the area and visit as often as we possibly can. We've tried several hotels in the area. Once we booked at this Clarion hotel, we found THE BEST home away from home while in Gonzales. Awesome restaurant in hotel too !!

Hotel was near everything we needed to do. Well kept, quiet, and clean. Check-in was extra pleasant. Mike Anderson's Seafood being on property was a great bonus. Breakfast ranks way above average.

This was a good place for the price. No questions about that. The pool was a little dingy and we had to ask for towels to be brought out, but otherwise good. Breakfast was pretty good as well - only complaint was the first morning the eggs were so watery … second day they were in a solid form. Went to get coffee in the lobby in the afternoon and it was out. But she said she would make some right away. The tv options were limited to the tv Channels. No options to use Netflix or Prime. There was an option to cast from my phone, so we rented a a movie on prime and the casting wouldn’t work as the internet wouldn’t connect. The office staff said they couldn’t help so that was that. Anyway - it was good overall … staff were all very kind and helpful. Don’t forget it is a motel with doors on the outside.

Location is great, it can be a little hard to get back on Hwy 30 depending on the traffic but patience is key. Very nice property, rooms are spacious and clean. Great to have a premier restaurant located on the property.
