This was by far the worst LaQuinta I have stayed in. Room was not clean and the pool was disgusting. If you are coming to Salina… definitely stay elsewhere.

We stay at least once a year it’s really starting to show it’s age with non operational doors to the rear of the building the elevator is very noisy and very slow I actually got stuck in it one evening for about 5 minutes I used the stairs for the remainder of our stay also had to get my key card reactivated everyday this has happened the last couple times we’ve stayed

This hotel is not as nice as it’s made to look in the pictures. It’s an old hotel made to look nice. Lots of things I didn’t like. The pool had mold growing in the standing water around the walkway of the pool area. Many of the towels were stained. The shampoo, conditioner and body wash containers were all empty. You could hear other people in their rooms through the vents. There was no vent in the bathroom. The breakfast was not kept up; several items were out and people had to keep asking for things. Barking dogs everywhere That’s not the hotel's fault but they do allow dogs and there were a lot there. I would not stay there again and I would not recommend it to friends.

This is a great property in Salina Kansas. They allow dogs. The only complaint I have is at the back door does not work with your key card. And it’s been that way for a couple years now. I hope that they get that fixed.

The staff we interacted with was very kind and welcoming. No issues with the staff. Our main issues were with the cleanliness of the room. The tile floor’s definitely need a deep cleaning- there were drip stains on the tile from a previous person in the room, and the grout needs a service clean. Our bathroom sink was clogged so it just fills up with water any time you turn it on. Our shower has not been cleaned because there was long black hairs all over it. We did not shower since it looked like it wasn’t serviced on the last cleaning. One more point, our bedding was mostly fine, the comforter also had some stains- since it’s not covered completely (it just had like a sheet cover which you can pull back instead of a full duvet cover which should be completely surrounding the comforter- just Hotel cleanliness 101).

The bed was so uncomfortable!! Our air didn't work great and we called someone to come look at it. It took him forever to come and it was late. His response was I'm sorry but idk what's wrong with it. It was blowing cold air but not enough to cool the room.

While the sheets and linens were clean, the property needs serious updating, repainting, repair. Even the furnishings needed upgrading. Owners could start with a paint job throughout. Girl at the front desk said she refunded the money then come this morning the day after i checked out i have another charge for the same amount for the same room. Misty checked us in with a nice smile and a warm greeting. After getting settled in our room we went to the front desk to ask directions to a nearby restaurant. Misty provided the directions and said our choice was a good one. She was right about the directions and the restaurant. Our room was clean and our bed comfortable. We would stay here again if in the area.

While the staff was very nice, there were multiple issues. This is by far the most run down, dirty La Quinta Inn I've ever stayed in. Dirty bathroom, paint splotches/spackling that was left unfinished, either fleas or bed bugs left me with bites all over my body in the morning. I bought some snacks that supposedly cost $4.50 and was charged $450. Granted, it was a mistake, but I'm the one who caught it the next day. I wasn't expecting a 4 star experience, but this was shocking. Can provide pictures if requested.

We stay at this location anytime we are in town overnight and the staff is always very accommodating. We were in town for the marathon and they easily allowed myself and others a later check out (about 45 mins for us) at no extra cost. This allowed me to get through my half marathon and back to the hotel for a shower before my 3 hour drive home. I was very thankful. hote.

We could hear things from outside, like a trash truck beeping sound and flag pole cord. McDonald's is right next door. Easy location off of the interstate. Shower worked well. Hot water. Room was spacious. Refrigerator was nice.

I chose this property due to its ease of parking with my long bed truck and 24’ long trailer right next to the hotel. The oversized parking was in a dirt lot, but it’s perfectly fine parking with the semi trucks(only a few of them). The gas station next to the hotel wasn’t very loud at all, and there’s several places to eat within walking distance. If you like Mexican food, walk about 100 yards towards the freeway and you’ll have an affordable and tasty meal! I would stay here again if needed. No questions asked.

The only complaint is the area immediately around is a truck stop - there is a McDonald’s basically in the parking lot. But I wasn’t completely comfortable being outside after dark. Hotel itself and staff were great.

The room was clean, although the blackout curtain was torn. Bathroom was fine. The bed was good. The property is in the back of the gas station for trucks, etc. and so was very brightly lit the whole night even the back of the property for the price. It’s good.

This property was not clean and was next door to some sort of industrial company. I was woken up at 7 am to loud banging and dumping of metal materials. My flight got in late so I stayed the 1 night but moved to another hotel my second.

Front desk was very helpful. The walls were paper thin and you could hear everything from the neighboring rooms (which is mortifying because my son cried a lot). While it was nice having a hot breakfast, it was subpar, with the biscuits very hard even right at 630 when it opened.

This hotel is not as nice as it’s made to look in the pictures. It’s an old hotel made to look nice. Lots of things I didn’t like. The pool had mold growing in the standing water around the walkway of the pool area. Many of the towels were stained. The shampoo, conditioner and body wash containers were all empty. You could hear other people in their rooms through the vents. There was no vent in the bathroom. The breakfast was not kept up; several items were out and people had to keep asking for things. Barking dogs everywhere That’s not the hotel's fault but they do allow dogs and there were a lot there. I would not stay there again and I would not recommend it to friends.

It is old property. LaQuinta is very nice most places. Crackers found behind toliet. Choc chip cookie found under chair. Spotted and soiled sheets. Breakfast was not good. We ate early. It’s just not like most LaQuintas. Furniture was shredded. Front desk clerk was very nice.

Decor and everything is kind of 90s but it's very well kept. They do accept pets, but the rooms and hallways smelled good. We also asked for a rolling bed and the attendant at the desk was very helpful. The breakfast room was kind of chaos but they were trying to make things tidy.

The front desk staff was not friendly on our arrival. When we got to our room we found a plastic bag covering the smoke alarm. There was mold in the bathroom vent. When I tried to address it the next morning, there wasn’t a manager on site. The person at the desk wasn’t able to answer or address anything. Their system was down and unable to give me a receipt. I asked for a callback and I still have not heard anything. I have stayed at other La Quinta Inns which were much higher quality and this is not the quality I expected from La Quinta Inn. The facility was old and worn and in desperate need of a remodel. If we were not traveling through and on a time schedule ,I would ask for a refund.
