Cute Cottage With Game Room, Close to the Beach

The house was run down, in need of repairs and deep cleaning! The listing photos were not accurate. I have photos but it wouldn’t load. They show dirt around door knobs and air vents. Lack of silverware for group size listed. Yellow stains around toilet base. Dirty drawers in kitchen and worn cabinets, holes in couch apholstery.

The host was great. However, we did not know that the home was a split level. One bedroom and bath on the bottom and the two bedrooms and one bath up on second floor. One had to go outside to get to the bottom bath. Also the door to the bottom facilities was swollen, so we had a difficult time opening and closing the door. The place was clean, but really needs updating and we wish there were some furniture in the bedrooms besides the bed and a night stand. No dressers. No coffee table. And the chairs had no backs, all stools. We did have a good time in Galveston. Thanks for putting us up.

Pet friendly and great communication with host!

The house was very nice, and spacious. No closets to hang clothes but we managed. Area is beautiful, and very close to the beach. Quite neighborhood. Host was very responsive. Would stay again.
