Motel 6-Olathe, KS

I booked online for non smoking, get there and its not non smoking but the last room available. I needed a place to lay my head and shower and they were my last option I didn't have much choice besides drive an hour home..The walls were white but literally, food, sauce of some sort and probably bodily fluids and grime all over them. The light switches were white plates but they were black with grime. I went to dollar general and got clorox wipes just so I could touch the light switches the cloth window bench seats had stains all over them as well. My dad is very ill and on lofe support at a surrounding hospital. I also bought flip flops just so I could stand in the shower. I didnt touch the TV remote bc it as well was covered in grime. The covers had cigarette burns and holes allllll over them. The towels in the bathroom felt damp. The bed didnt have bugs so thats why I stayed. I just literally slept for 5hrs got up showered and got the heck out of there..

For the area it was a lower price. It is a no frills motel 6, no art work or lamps..nothing that could be taken from room except towels. They also charge $60 deposit, which is returned after checking out, so you know they have issues with room damage/theft from customers. That said, although a little rundown, the room was clean, the bed OK and clean and I felt safe. The front desk woman was VERY nice. It was a quick overnight and served it's purpose.
