My husband and I celebrated my birthday weekend in Harbor Walk Hotel. It was a great stay. Our room was spacious, well decorated, and very clean. The mermaid theme was cute, colorful, and fitting given the property has a nice ocean view. Every room has a fantastic view of Morro Rock. The bathroom was large and has the best shower fixtures. I thoroughly enjoyed the gentle water flow from the rainfall shower head. The electric fireplace heater brought warmth and a romantic vibe to the room. Having fresh cream and water in a pitcher in the fridge for coffee was a nice touch. My favorite amenity was the private balcony and fire pit overlooking the bay. Harbor Walk Hotel is truly a hidden gem.

Amazing stay. Staff was so kind and genuine. She seemed happy to be there and to have us as guests. Very clean room and lots of added touches to make the stay more welcoming. Fresh water and creamer in your room. There’s a cabinet in a common area outside of room with extra towels, coffee pods, and games to use. Bed was absolutely comfortable I didn’t want to get up in the morning.

Wonderful tiny hotel. Brand new accommodations - and one of the best hotel mattresses I’ve ever slept on! The gas firepit on the deck makes for an excellent start or end of day hangout spot when it gets cool. Sit back and enjoy the sunset and barks of the local seals.

Great stay! The room was amazing. It was clean and modern and cozy with lots of amenities. The shower was great and we loved sitting on the balcony with the fire pit watching the seals in the ocean. Great view and right on the Embarcadero in the middle of all the shops and restaurants. I will definitely be coming back!

This place was absolutely the best!! The room was so spectacular! We stayed in the “Jelly fish” room. The room details were stunning, The view was beyond amazing! The sunsets were unreal!! The bed was so comfortable. Extremely well designed room & for the comfort of the guests. The balcony views with the fireplace topped our nights. The Inn keeper “T” was so sweet and accommodating. We actually loved this place so much we decided to stay an additional night. We can’t wait to stay again. Thank you! 💖

Fantastic views, relatively smooth check in process. Very comfortable room with a fire pit on the deck. Appreciated having three… yes THREE shower heads which felt very luxury. Bathrobes and complimentary Valentine’s Day roses and shower steamers were a nice touch.

The rooms were fresh and decorated beautifully.Patio ,and furniture was top notch.Beds were comfortable and very high end bedding.3 options for shower heads were fantastic.Overall grade would 11 out of 10.We will be back.Close to some great restaurants also 👍

I was in the octopus room - The attention to detail was refreshing. From the color of the walls to the wall art to the fireplace and even access to an iPad. The private deck was really cool too. Very friendly staff who checked my in. Will recommend for sure.

Wonderful location. The location of property is right in the center of town, close to shops and restaurants. Room was decorated nicely and very clean. Great views. However, if you want to sleep late, a children’s play area was located below the rooms, and children start playing around 7:30 am. Staff leave at 9:00 pm, so let them know early if you need anything for your room. Overall great experience.

Weather was beautiful, the view was great from the room. Room was very clean and smelled good. Customer service was great went in and she grabbed the key and walked us to the room and showed us how to work the fire pit etc. It was new years eve and they gave us a bottle of champagne with little champagne glasses. We also had our dog love how everyone is so pet friendly around the area. Will be going back soon

Beautiful inn clean with a wonderful view. The rooms were excellent, and quiet. My neighbors werentalking in the room with their sliddoor ooen, then decided to close the door, silence. The view was nice and we felt safe. Definitely coming back.

What a nice surprise this Inn was. We’ve been to Morro Bay several times & didn’t even know this place existed. Staff was very kind & helpful. We stayed in the octopus room. Loved the artwork, colors, cleanliness & access to the balcony. Parking was a little bit of a challenge but that’s MB on a weekend, easily fixed after the crowds thinned out. We will stay there again.

Nice hotel. Very nice staff. Parking is interesting…you park on the street not in a designated area. The fact that you share an access area is very noisy. We were woken up by other guests who were entering and exiting there rooms to get ice and water from the same corridor. The balcony we had had a good view it just smelled really bad from the drainage pipe that emptied onto the balcony from the roof where tons of birds are. The room stated that it slept 5 which is just not possible, it barely slept 2 adults and 2 teenagers. We had to make out a very cumbersome couch bed at night as well. While I understand that you should be able to skip housekeeping I think for this price nightly it should be assumed that they will come in and clean not that you have to put a hanger on the door asking for it. Overall a good stay for a relaxing get away.

The room was very nice and comfortable. Unfortunately, there’s a playground off the balconies which takes away from the serenity. Also, no fault of the hotel, but the seagulls were screeching all night long!

The Harbor Walk Inn was beautiful and located right on the bay. We loved the fire pit on our balcony and the fireplace in the room. The bed was the most comfortable hotel bed we have ever slept in. The staff was so friendly and showed us how to work the fire pit, fireplace and TV. We even got to meet the owner and she was such a delight. We will definitely stay there again. Five Stars!

We loved our stay at the HarborWalk Inn! It was such a great experience. The room was spacious with a balcony view to Morro Rock. Huge attention to detail in the room. Our room was the Mermaid room and was decorated accordingly in such a tasteful manner. This is a newly constructed boutique hotel on the Morro Bay boardwalk and it's hard to describe just how lovely our experience was. Cherise checked us in and brought us to our room and explained the features. We loved the in-room electric fireplace and the the gas fire-it on the balcony. The bed was so comfortable! We have travelled a lot and it is so refreshing to come across a hotel that really puts the customer first. We could not have wished for a better stay, and we hope that we can stay here again on our next visit to Morro Bay.

Amazing stay. Staff was so kind and genuine. She seemed happy to be there and to have us as guests. Very clean room and lots of added touches to make the stay more welcoming. Fresh water and creamer in your room. There’s a cabinet in a common area outside of room with extra towels, coffee pods, and games to use. Bed was absolutely comfortable I didn’t want to get up in the morning.

This is our new go to place in Morro Bay. We stayed in the jellyfish suite and couldn’t recommend it enough. The bed was extremely comfortable and the fire pit on the patio sealed the deal for us. The owner clearly takes pride in her work. Upon arrival, she came over and introduced herself and then showed us to our room. She went over the rooms amenities and how to use everything. I had let owner know ahead of time it was our anniversary and she laid out a huge heart in rose pedals and got my wife a vase of flowers. When we left, her husband came over and introduced himself and thanked us for staying. The customer service is the best I’ve ever had in any hotel. We cant wait to go back and take our kids.

The Harbor Walk Inn was beautiful and located right on the bay. We loved the fire pit on our balcony and the fireplace in the room. The bed was the most comfortable hotel bed we have ever slept in. The staff was so friendly and showed us how to work the fire pit, fireplace and TV. We even got to meet the owner and she was such a delight. We will definitely stay there again. Five Stars!

What a nice surprise this Inn was. We’ve been to Morro Bay several times & didn’t even know this place existed. Staff was very kind & helpful. We stayed in the octopus room. Loved the artwork, colors, cleanliness & access to the balcony. Parking was a little bit of a challenge but that’s MB on a weekend, easily fixed after the crowds thinned out. We will stay there again.

We have stayed here 5 nights in the past 3 weeks and can’t get enough. The location is perfect the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. You can’t beat this location anytime of the year especially when trying to get out of the heat back home. Will definitely continue to stay here when visiting Morro Bay.

Great stay! The room was amazing. It was clean and modern and cozy with lots of amenities. The shower was great and we loved sitting on the balcony with the fire pit watching the seals in the ocean. Great view and right on the Embarcadero in the middle of all the shops and restaurants. I will definitely be coming back!

The room was very well laid out with a fantastic & roomy balcony with direct views of Morro Rock. The bed was comfy and the Inn is located on the waterfront with multiple food venues steps away.

Loved this property! It’s was very clean. Loved the themed decor. We had the Octopus room with view of the coffee house across the street with a peek a boo view of the bay from the balcony. We went on Memorial Day weekend & it was very pleasant. We enjoyed the outdoor fire place on the table & electric fire place in the room. Beds were very comfy. We will be going back & get a room over looking the bay next time. Highly recommend!!!

This was an amazing little boutique hotel. Our room was the "Otter"room, which had a view of the ocean, the sailboats and the "rock". It was gorgeous. The room was fun, all "otter" themed and the sink in the bathroom was just amazing. The pillows were a bit hard, but the bed extremely comfy. The sunset was incredible to watch from the balcony, using the table heater. Watching the seals out in the water and the boats, was just amazing. We found a great place to eat nearby and were able to walk to the restaurant. Please know that you will hear the seals and the seagulls. We loved the sounds, but they were audible into the later evening. We can highly recommend this hotel. It was truly beautiful and very enjoyable-the room itself, the view and the staff.

Very new and clean property, right on the water in the center of the Embarcadero close to everything. It's a tiny property with 8 rooms and no lobby (you check in at the gift shop downstairs), but they keep all of the things you might need handy, including filtered water and extra coffee and towels. The bed is amazingly comfortable and warm. We had the smallest balcony in the Mermaid unit but it still had everything we needed included a great view and the firepit worked perfectly. There's also a fireplace inside. I saw a complaint about the children's playground outside the rooms. You'd have to be quite a grump to hate the sound of children having fun. It wasn't loud enough or constant enough to bother me at all. All staff was pleasant and helpful and available. There is no parking in the property but we had plenty available on the street.
