Extended Stay America Suites - Champaign - Urbana

This is a dated, bare-bones hotel. If you don’t expect much, you will be fine. Rooms are dimly lit; small kitchens are very worn; no basic amenities such as hair dryers, cookware, shampoo. There are no communal areas, and breakfast is a cart of packaged junk food.

Room was fairly clean. Good coffee

Bathroom sink didn’t drain well - needs to be rodded. Kitchenette sink - one of the knobs didn’t work (not a big deal since we didn’t use that sink much but still not working.). And there were multiple hairs on the sheets! 😳

Don't even know how to describe it other than OVERpriced for what they are offer. Rooms with smoke detectors ripped off the ceiling, peeling walls, peeling carpets. Does NOT feel like a hotel, and definitely NOT for the price they are getting away with charging. Champaign is desperate for more options, higher quality lodging, and they know it!! They got you by the short hairs, because there's barely anywhere to stay in town for under $400- Ridiculous!

The entire hotel smelled like weed. Our room smelled like someone cooked fish in it. In our room the carpet had crumbs on it in. The window in our room had a crack in it.
