They have a lot of roaches, both rooms I was in were dirty, there were roaches, the toilet had pee on it. The washing machine cost $3 plus I paid an extra 25 cent for hot water for the machine and it was still cold. The milk at breakfast was in a juice jug for everyone to share from which is very unsanitary with Covid going about still. The bedding were very dirty. They look like they haven’t been changed. There were a lot of drunk and drug addicts staying at the hotel. They made a lot of noise late at nights. There were a lot of yelling, slamming of doors and loud music being played. I would not even recommend this hotel to my worst enemy, the place was very disgusting

They had maintenance issues. We had to go to Motel 6 and redroof paid for it. But then Motel 6 had issues getting us a room to. Door keys failed for 24 hours!!

Creepy clientele. Lobby had a plexiglass shield between the customers and the desk person locked by a broomstick handle. The rooms were OK clean but given that there are three equally priced alternatives within a 1 mile distance of this hotel I’d go elsewhere.

Couldn’t even get into the room we reserved, and went and seen a different room, and turned the bathroom light on and cockroaches were on the bathroom sink. HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!

Horrible dirty room roaches crawling around. Sheets had a hole in it with Yellow stains on the Sheets, hair and dirt. Everything all over the blankets, the room smelt like urine. I checked in a 5 and checked out at 630. I felt the leave of safety was not what I wanted, the door was off center and needed to be slammed shut, the unit seemed to have been damaged by past guests. The front desk lady was behind safety glass and after going to dinner came back and politely departed and did not stay.

All the towels smelled like cigarettes. I had to kill at least one roach every time i went to the bathroom. Pillows were insanely uncomfortable. Management cared about nothing. Other people staying next to my room played music until 4am, and/or theyd smoke pot and rap outside my window until 2am. Think you can sleep during the day? Nope! Crying babies get up around 7am, so i got maybe 3 hours of quiet both nights of my stay. The television was nice. Thats the only nice thing i can say. My advice is to spend an extra $10 and stay down the road.

I was in town for work and spent 5 nights here. The staff was not overly welcoming, but they were friendly. The hallways were not clean and had an odor. The room, however, was clean and comfortable when I arrived, but it wasn't serviced during the entire stay. I did ask for a change of towels twice, they never came.

The room was clean and the staff were nice, but the water to the toilet wasn’t turned on for some reason, and you had to shut your door with some force and double check to make sure it was actually closed. It seemed like it was a hotel that had a few people living there, but I never felt in danger or uncomfortable. McDonald’s was next door, and it was only $25 Uber drive to downtown St. Louis. Great affordable option for a one night stay right outside of the big city if you need an affordable hotel to catch a concert in St. Lois. It isn’t ideal for extended stays.

So this has to be one of the worst stays simply for the fact. I extended my stay. I went to the front desk and let her know i booked a 2nd night. She said that was fine. At 11 the front desk called i was informed i had to check out and check back in that's fine. But that i Would either have to vacate the room til 3 or pay an additional $40.i don't have a car so i paid the $40 then they didn't clean or offer us clean towels or anything. So why did i have to pay $40 for nothing. Now i used manage a hotel and worked front desk ive never seen this before. Plus there were pants in the night stand and condoms there as well. I will never stay there again. If you are going to charge me $40 at least clean the room or something. Plus train your morning staff better because i thought things were good and then at 11 to find out im not.

not a typical Red Lion you would expect. No hot breakfast, sign that tells you that you need a $50.00 refundable deposit IF all the towels and bed sheets are in the room and in good condition. No coffee pot in room, no iron & ironing board in room, clock and phone does not work. Can not take food in lobby to room. Upon check out, manage goes to your room to inspect before giving your deposit back.

Didn't get a chance to see how the room looked. I booked through Expedia and they did not have our reservation. Wanted to charge me extra to stay when I had my itinerary already printed out from Expedia. We went across the street to the Motel 6 and had a wonderful stay there! Very disappointed in Red Lion Caseyville. I will say that the Red Lion in Harrisburg PA is top notch!

It doesn’t look like much on the outside but it was a nice, clean, cheap room. I wouldn't suggest it for a family stay or vaction stop. But, if its a layover like me and my husband had its a good stop.

They have a lot of roaches, both rooms I was in were dirty, there were roaches, the toilet had pee on it. The washing machine cost $3 plus I paid an extra 25 cent for hot water for the machine and it was still cold. The milk at breakfast was in a juice jug for everyone to share from which is very unsanitary with Covid going about still. The bedding were very dirty. They look like they haven’t been changed. There were a lot of drunk and drug addicts staying at the hotel. They made a lot of noise late at nights. There were a lot of yelling, slamming of doors and loud music being played. I would not even recommend this hotel to my worst enemy, the place was very disgusting

Checked in went sightseeing came back.. never went in room, shady characters outside, right off main highway didn't feel safe for two women traveling. Turned in keys, told Manager of things we witnessed in parking lot, he didn't seem to concerned because he also lived on site, however did say I'd be refunded....will be watching to see. Paid at hotel, not via app so should get a refund as room was never entered.

Creepy clientele. Lobby had a plexiglass shield between the customers and the desk person locked by a broomstick handle. The rooms were OK clean but given that there are three equally priced alternatives within a 1 mile distance of this hotel I’d go elsewhere.

We stayed at this hotel last night, but we didn’t sleep there. We only stayed for one hour before checking out at 1:00 AM. The reason was that the door wouldn’t lock, and people were smoking marijuana everywhere. The room smelled like marijuana, and the parking lot didn’t feel safe. This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Please don’t go.

The room was clean and the staff were nice, but the water to the toilet wasn’t turned on for some reason, and you had to shut your door with some force and double check to make sure it was actually closed. It seemed like it was a hotel that had a few people living there, but I never felt in danger or uncomfortable. McDonald’s was next door, and it was only $25 Uber drive to downtown St. Louis. Great affordable option for a one night stay right outside of the big city if you need an affordable hotel to catch a concert in St. Lois. It isn’t ideal for extended stays.

not a typical Red Lion you would expect. No hot breakfast, sign that tells you that you need a $50.00 refundable deposit IF all the towels and bed sheets are in the room and in good condition. No coffee pot in room, no iron & ironing board in room, clock and phone does not work. Can not take food in lobby to room. Upon check out, manage goes to your room to inspect before giving your deposit back.

Shower curtain bar broken. Bath drain clogged with bandaid, hair. Linoleum floors. Fire alarm went off in middle of night for no reason. Breakfast promised, but only pop tarts, white bread, and fruity pebbles cereal offered. No one bothered to change sheets or towels on our 2 day stay. Bed was comfortable.

Let's just say, the roaches can stay there because I'll never go back again. Literally had roaches crawling on the sink area. Shower curtain had mold on it. Hallway carpet all stained. Our room number was written on the door with a marker. The people hanging around outside of the building didnt make it feel like a safe area. No breakfast like it says there is. Said they weren't doing breakfast right now. We could hear the people above us all night long, sounded like they were dropping bowling balls all the time. Just a nasty place all together.

The pictures were deceiving. Hallways were filthy carpets stained throughout, Bathroom in the room was dirty. Front desk was not manned. Had to call a number any time we needed someone to show up. No AC on in the lobby, in August in MO, while waiting for someone to come help. Beds in the room were ok, but did not give "clean" vibes. We literally just needed somewhere to sleep after a concert before heading back home, so it functioned, but it did not feel clean at all. At check out, they literally took my room key and went and checked the room to make sure we had not stolen any linens or done damage to anything, it was not the greatest feeling after a brief stay. Would not choose to go back.

There was a literal roach that fell from the ceiling onto our pizza box. Looks theree is. Prostitution ring being ran outside. The entire "hotel" smelled like old garbage.

Owner very rude and he wanted to tell me book and pay in person so he could make all the money. The place is dirty and over priced. It had roaches and they didnt even have soap the cheap free ones to wash your hands . Then he wanted me to leave out everyday from 11 to 3 for from cleaning and I had a booking for a week. They didnt clean my room either or take trash out. Avoid staying here if you can Owner very money hungry.
