This was one of the cutest places we’ve ever stayed. I was blown away with all of the wood finishes, mining town feel, railroad memorabilia, cleanliness, and especially the rooftop balcony and sitting area. I will come back again and again.

We stayed in room 3. It was nicely furnished, clean and a cute loft area with steps up to outdoor patio. Has 2 skylights and one window at patio area along with fans to help with air movement and cooling. Nice gathering area to relax at entryway downstairs with a few more amenities available.

Beautifully appointed unit! Great rooftop deck, great location in historic area. We loved everything about it! Great communication and easy to checkin. The only reason we didn’t give it 5 stars was because it was so very hot overnight. We had the heat off, the sunlight and upper window open on a night that was 25 degrees F outside and full on snow in May, and the room was still in the high 70’s making it difficult to sleep. Otherwise we considered it a great find! We had a great dinner at Handlebars Saloon and breakfast at Coffee Bears, both so close. We will def come back to Silverton in the summer to hike this area.

LOVED IT! Perfect for our family of 4 (1 King, 1 Queen & pull-out sofa). Beautiful remodel of a historical building - still had the Old Wild West feel, but modern. Only 3 rooms with an open communal sitting room (no TV, no front desk). Quiet and relaxing with AMAZING views. The one staff member we saw was super nice and helpful with local recommendations. Just can't say enough good things about this place - probably the best hotel I've ever stayed in. Wish we could have stayed longer and definitely will be back!

I am so happy to write this review for this location. It advertises like a hotel but it has all the warmth and coziness of an AirBnb. We had room three which is an upstairs suite with a kitchenette, small sitting room, private bathroom and large King size bed. Which was very comfortable by the way! Even the pillows were nice. We only stayed one night but this would be a great location to spend more time. There is access to a rooftop balcony that has a table and chairs. It would be nice if there was an umbrella when the sun is out but after the sun set behind the mountains it was really nice to sit up there. The only reason we gave this place four stars is there is no air conditioning so I am not sure how temperatures are in Silverton in the summer. The fans helped keep it cooler when we stayed early June. Location is great to walk to local restaurants and coffee shops. We loved our stay here and would come back and stay longer. What a great find this place is! I was with my two teens and we all loved it! Super nice, super clean, super comfy. Great communications with the hosts. We just really loved it all and will try to book it again next time we are in the area. Only bad thing was that they didn't have availability for us to stay an extra night. LOVE LOVE LOVE this place!

We adored the town of Silverton!! This quaint little hotel was right on Main Street and reeked with charm. Very well appointed, clean, quiet. Would have loved to stay longer.

This place is a gem. Located right in the middle of downtown. You can walk to restaurants, shopping, and the train station. We stayed in room #1. The room is totally updated with heated floors and a nice walk in shower. If you are looking to stay in Silverton, this should be your first choice. Highly recommend!!!!!

I only gave this a 4 for personal reasons. If you don’t fall into this category, it’s definitely a 5! My husband and I are both tall people. My husband being 6’6” and myself 5’9”. The ceilings were so short in the bathroom and kitchen my husband couldn’t stand upright making the stay less comfortable. In the bathroom, I couldn’t dry my hair without hitting the ceiling so I had to squat down to do so. Our only other complaint would be how hard the bed was. Again, that’s a personal issue. The room was clean, nicely laid out, and had great finishing touches. The host was accommodating and over all it was a nice place. If you are shorter and like harder beds this is your place!! We were in the upstairs room #3 for reference.

It must be the high altitude, the place is really nice, but the air inside the upstairs loft apartment is stale. I could not breathe as I use to. Not big deal, went downstairs to sleep on couch.

Loved everything about our stay at the Frenchmen Suites. Check-in was a breeeze - we were just texted our room number and door code, and that’s all we needed. The experience felt very much like a short term rental experience, less like a hotel. The suite was beautifully decorated and every detail thought through. The bed was comfy and the sheets soft. I would love to stay here again!

This stay was amazing. All the details in decoration were perfect. Bed was super comfortable and the location right next to town. Also the owner answered all my questions in a very prompt way. Definitely would be staying here when I come again. Truly recommend this place

This stay was amazing. All the details in decoration were perfect. Bed was super comfortable and the location right next to town. Also the owner answered all my questions in a very prompt way. Definitely would be staying here when I come again. Truly recommend this place

Beautifully appointed unit! Great rooftop deck, great location in historic area. We loved everything about it! Great communication and easy to checkin. The only reason we didn’t give it 5 stars was because it was so very hot overnight. We had the heat off, the sunlight and upper window open on a night that was 25 degrees F outside and full on snow in May, and the room was still in the high 70’s making it difficult to sleep. Otherwise we considered it a great find! We had a great dinner at Handlebars Saloon and breakfast at Coffee Bears, both so close. We will def come back to Silverton in the summer to hike this area.

I am so happy to write this review for this location. It advertises like a hotel but it has all the warmth and coziness of an AirBnb. We had room three which is an upstairs suite with a kitchenette, small sitting room, private bathroom and large King size bed. Which was very comfortable by the way! Even the pillows were nice. We only stayed one night but this would be a great location to spend more time. There is access to a rooftop balcony that has a table and chairs. It would be nice if there was an umbrella when the sun is out but after the sun set behind the mountains it was really nice to sit up there. The only reason we gave this place four stars is there is no air conditioning so I am not sure how temperatures are in Silverton in the summer. The fans helped keep it cooler when we stayed early June. Location is great to walk to local restaurants and coffee shops. We loved our stay here and would come back and stay longer. We adored the town of Silverton!! This quaint little hotel was right on Main Street and reeked with charm. Very well appointed, clean, quiet. Would have loved to stay longer.

Great place to stay and the town people are so nice. The only negative thing is that everything closes up around 8:00, so make sure that you eat and have everything that you need before 8:00.

Une belle étape mais très chère pour le peu de service offert. Pas de petit dej alors que la propriétaire nous a bien vanté son restaurant mexicain pour 260€/nuit il aurait été appréciable d’y avoir un petit dej inclus la bas, ou une remise pour ceux de son hôtel. Pas de service de ménage, pas de cuisine … chambre très propre et moderne cependant et bien placée mais cela reste trop cher pour ce que c’est. Je remercie cependant la propriétaire de nous a avoir proposé d’utiliser sa machine à laver.

The space was very cozy and unique, with a private rooftop deck that we cooked on. However, there is no air conditioning, and the host placed some fans throughout the unit but only one of them worked. After much investigation we realized many of the electrical outlets were not working. So we opened the door and window to let the cool air in.

I booked this property for my fiance's birthday and the owner reported the Frenchman's suites had a water leak so we were moved to the shotgun house. This place was super old, the toilets were super abnormally small. They did have cool games to play and the front room was an attempt at modernized aesthetics. The owner reported it was better and more expensive than the orginal place we booked but it felt old an outdated overall. I informed the owner that we were awakened by a loud bang and found that the power was out. His response was apathetic and he said he checked it out after we left the propety and everything was fine. He did not say sorry for the inconvinience or appear to care as we did not hear from him again after he said he did not find anything wrong. I would not advise staying here unless you are aware that you could be moved to another location that you have no control over and that it just might be the shotgun house that is not worth 100 dollars in my opinion. It was an old trailer type house and had parts of the floor that sunk in and made loud sounds when you walked across it. The main bathroom is in the kitchen, and there is a worn rug that can make you trip. Overall creepy vibes, and I hated my stay there...left before 9am to get far away from this place.

The room was clean and nice. Loved the roomy shower! But we asked for more toilet paper and never got any, my husband had to leave and find a store to buy some at. Room was also very hot with no way to ventalate.

What a great place to stay. Perfect for the two of us. Great location in town and close to Bear Coffee☺️. Thank you for a wonderful first visit to Silverton. I would love to ski there in the winter. The location was clean and well thought out. Thank you so much for allowing us into our room a little early. We hope to visit again soon.
