Everything was great. Staff was great. Pool was pretty cloudy and a little cold.

Room was mostly clean except for a few crumbs. Great AC and super comfy bed and pillows. Breakfast pool and laundry facilities are a huge plus (keep in mind - you'll need quarters for the latter) although the pool was not heated as it says online. Area is not very walkable but I found it safe and there is at least a Safeway to buy general necessities. This hotel has kind and helpful staff. It's a cozy place. Would stay here again.

Property, facilities, pool and room were very clean especially for winter. Although I didn’t use the pool this trip I plan on doing so next time. Check in was simple and staff was excellent. I also didn’t try the breakfast but will do so next time. Only issue was the ice machine didn’t seem to work. Amazing deal for the price.

We arrived and the pool was completely drained, which they neglected to reach out and tell us before we arrived. Right off the bat, the smell of mildew in the entire building was overwhelming. It was clear the elevator hasn't been cleaned in, I don't even know how long. When we arrived in the room, it was just a regular room, not the pool-view suite we'd paid for. There was dog hair on the couch and more questionable smells. Overall, it was a horrible experience. The one redeeming quality was the man at the front desk, who was understanding of our disappointment and helpful in giving us information about getting a refund.

Strange smell throughout. Pool was cold and too deep for kids, hot tub had been removed and tiles over. Sauna was just a storage room full of junk. Storage rroms full of junk throughout. Handle was broken on drawers, all furniture beat up. Mini fridge did not work. Will not stay again. Breakfast was so-so.

We have stayed here several times, good, quiet place. Just a little older property (happens to us all) and a few things have been noticeably repaired. This doesn’t prevent us from staying, staff is friendly and it’s a good value for the money. I do wish the pool was heated.

The hotel desperately needs a thorough cleaning. Floors, walls, elevators, cafeteria. Pool wasn't open. Looks like carpet is partially replaced. Rooms hallways still have filthy, stained, horrible patterned carpet. Fellows who checked us in very helpful and friendly. One who responded to our request for more pillows smelled horribly. Some towels had holes in them. We think a cross between weed and cheap cologne. Not sure how hotel received an 8 rating. Bed was comfortable enough. Stayed one-night cuz it was cheap enough and rated highly.

The reality is that this is just a dirty hotel and no, it was not busy or they had not "gotten" to it yet. It was clear some of the dried coffee/mud/sticky stains had been on tile for a long time. The bedroom headboards had quite a bit of dust, etc. dirty un vacuumed and unswept halls and elevators, etc. Pool bottom had a lot of sand in it. Listen you get what you pay for. The bed was comfy! Overall, it was what I expected a 2 star hotel to be.

Has single EV charge point. And it worked.

Great pool, far enough off the highway so it’s possible to open the window at night and avoid the noisy a/c

The hotel allowed an early check in as long as it waa after 12. The room was filthy. Hair on the bed and crumbs on the floor. They did rectify by moving us to a different room.

There was black MOLD on the shower curtain in the bathroom and it smelled strongly of old cigarette smoke, maybe because our room was the last down the hall by the exit door or maybe because the scent wasn’t taken care of, I’m not sure. The staff was nice and attentive upon arrival, no complaints there. Around back there was trash littered everywhere by the trash area. I didn’t dare showering, due to the black mold and I would like a refund if possible. Thank you.

The service at check in was excellent. The hotel needs some updating; however, it was clean, quiet and met our needs.

The hotel was ok. Our room was not that clean. Stains on pillowcases stains on towels and washcloths. Lamps beside beds were also dirty. The toilet had been partially cleaned but needed a toilet brush to clean out the basin from …. 💩 Stayed for 3 nights. Never had room service the whole stay. Had to go get clean towels ourself. The breakfast area was in need of cleaning. The warming container for the old eggs and sausage ( same everyday) was dirty all over the outside , the breakfast mini fridge was dirty . The whole breakfast area is in need of a good cleaning. Not sure what has happened with the hotel industry. Prices are gone up per night with no daily room service and dirty rooms. The beds are comfortable and it was a quiet stay. Just the cleanliness of the hotel could’ve been way better.

Check in was quick and easy. The guy was super nice. The room was small, and not much water pressure in the shower. The bed was comfy, but the room could use a good wipe down.

Hotel was noisy, not from other guests, but mechanical buzzes and whirs, creaks and pops, drips and drops. Shower pipe was not firmly in wall, water pressure was wimpy.

The room smelled of dog urine or ?..I had to leave the window open while we were gone for several hours. No shampoo. The shower made awful noises turning it on.

Check in was good, we got in the room the ac didn't work they had to come fix the thermostat on wall. Tiles on the floor in doorway were broke, and the faces of the cabinets were pealing

This property is run by nice people but the owners did a poor job of remodeling. Lots of stains on the walls in the bathroom, cheap fixtures, very poor lighting over the vanity and the only good thing at the breakfast is the individual packs of yogurt. No fan in the bathroom and a terrible patch (unpainted where they took the old one out.). We were going to add a night and decided to move to a different hotel. Definitely not what is pictured online!

The beds were terrible and very hard. They were also very high up and difficult to get into. The shower was extremely poor with low water pressure. The food was adequate, nothing special. We will never stay in this motel again.

Our room had some renovation needs (bathroom door doesn't shut easy and gets caught on tiling, vanity top completely loose from end table, TV stand had some peeled pieces on the door). Fortunately, I was there for a good nights rest and thats what I got! Massive TV with Disney Channel for the little ones and hot breakfast made up for it!

Wonderful stay overall! Great location for the funeral we were attending and family visits! We enjoyed the super quiet atmosphere for both nights. Shawn, the clerk who served us at the desk, was very friendly and polite! I always thank you for the hot breakfast, however, a bit more variety would be appreciated, like bacon, or ham, instead of the regular sausages, and little potatoes sure would be nice! Just an idea! Thank you for the pleasant stay!

We checked in and the building lost power within 20min. It came back on but was out for good ten minutes later. While I understand the cause was beyond their control, how the situation was handled was not. Our stay began with dirty towels in the bathroom which makes you question the overall cleanliness of the establishment. When the power went out for the second time we asked the gentleman at the desk if we could check out (we had family nearby we could stay with) and receive a refund. He was polite and obviously overwhelmed, he contacted the manager who said that we could not receive a refund because we had already checked in. I understand that systems were down so they'd be unable to do an immediate refund however we just wanted a credit/refund when power resumed. Again, we were told no by management. We opted for the hotel because we wanted this to be a fun last getaway of summer for our children. Instead, we had dirty towels, no access to the pool (which was why this hotel was chosen), no air conditioning (it was in the 90s), no access to showers, no breakfast in the am, and no way to charge our phones. In addition, when the reservation was made I had requested a main floor room due to a leg brace. We received a second floor room which was acceptable when we had access to the elevator however when we packed up and left I had had to struggle with stairs which wouldn't have been an issue had the request been honored.

The clerk was not at the desk to give me the key when I arrived about 9pm. We had to wait more than 20 min for him to come to the desk. Then the same clerk locked the pool door even though it was not yet closing. We had to ask him to open the pool door.

Very rude service by both the clerk and manager, in fact the manager should simply be ashamed of his people skills!

We came to Dewitt for travel baseball and over half the team stayed here. It was great! The gentleman that checks us in and who was there all weekend. I believe his name is Shawn. He was amazing, very helpful. And super accommodating for our team. My son says he needs a raise. But he was so nice and friendly.

Front desk clerk not attentive upon arrival. He was actually on the phone with another guest via an earbud while checking us in. He was mumbling and we thought he was talking to us but he didn’t respond when we said “pardon?” He was rude to the person on the phone. Room was adequate but definitely not nice. Breakfast area was dirty with a sticky floor and tables. Someone spilled coffee all over a chair and floor and it took quite a while before they cleaned it up. Coffee cups are like shot glasses. Would not stay again.

Air was ok. Room smelled awful. Breakfast eh. Not great. Muffins were hard. Won't stay again.

Room smelled bad. They gave as another room which was good. Breakfast ok There was sound from air conditioning vents which bothered during sleep Place was quiet.

Everything was good but the breakfast was weak. Could’ve had a couple more options but the price was really affordable. I’d stay again.

Not sure if the hotel or hotel.com messed up our stay. They didn’t us booked for our right room which was okay. We made due. The bathroom had a horrible patch job in the ceiling. The breakfast was very small. Only food cook was eggs and sausage then make your own waffle. Everything else was cereal toast and muffin. Wasn’t our worst stay but not our best
