The elevator was broken so we had to walk up with luggage to the room. I have a disability and there was no help offered. The hallway carpet is threadbare and the stairwells are filthy. If we have to use them, clean them.

Parking was excellent. A/C system was broken had to be completely replaced. The hotel was nice to give us a heater while waiting for the A/C (heat) to be repaired

Room was great - clean and spacious, much more than expected. Water pressure was phenomenal! Unfortunately, none of the gym equipment operated properly. I suggest management schedule maintenance or replacement and add a public notice to guests prior to booking (upon arrival at the very least). Overall my stay was good for one night, I very much appreciated the kind staff throughout my stay.

The room was clean and acceptable. Parts of the room weren’t perfect. The tv was difficult to operate, took us several try’s to get tv working. Bathroom was functional but needed an update. Breakfast is your typical reheated eggs, sausage and biscuits. Plus standard cold options and make your own waffles. The gym was disappointing. Treadmill was not working and the elliptical was not functioning properly. It did have okay weight machine.

The time for breakfast was incorrect on the website: 630-930 and it was actually 6-9! The pool or the hot tub weren’t open and operating and that was one of the main reasons we booked at your hotel, 4 kids under the age of 12 and exhausted parents. The vending machines were out of order for the first two nights.

AC worked great, lady doing breakfast very rude, desk staff great at check in only, pool was closed unfortunately. I would highly reccomend some more breakfast options. One of the pillows on the bed was hard and lumpy, need to replace.

For the most part the hotel was pretty quiet. I did wake up at two in the morning because the vending machine on the second floor went crazy in the middle of the night. It started dispensing all it coins, and it was making a really loud noise. I had to go out there and pull the thing away from the wall to try an unplug it. I had a hard time going back to sleep after that.

Property was dirty. There were holes in the carpet. Elevator did not work. Paint peeling in the room. The breakfast stayed the same each day and was not rotated. I was VERY DISAPPOINTED. I have stayed at several Comfort Inn's during my travels over the years and normally am pleased. This hotel was terrible and should be shut down for renovations. I will never book this hotel again. The staff was terrific and the staff is the only thing that brought this up to two stars. I was very disappointed. 4 star price for a 1 star accommodation. Shame on you corporate. Staff was awesome though.

Comfort Inn offered me a quiet and safe space while I was in Statesboro. I felt safe and welcome. That said...the room was older and smelled of mildew once I turned off the AC that was blasting at about 50 degrees. The room had drywall dipping by the a/c, frayed carpet and a strange residue around the lamp shades that maybe was rusted just from being really old.

The carpet looks like it has been there for 50 years. Very stained. Rooms smelled like mold. I had a headache from the minute I walked in that went away when I left. The beds seemed clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly which were positives. Bathrooms were large but because of the intense moldy smell it was difficult to enjoy anything about the room

Overall, a good stay. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the shower was nice and spacious. For the most part, the rooms were clean. There were dirty spots in corners and crevices. The staff was very friendly. The free breakfast was OK. Could’ve used a few more options such as bagels and maybe scrambled eggs and bacon. I would stay here again.

The turn to get into the hotel was deadly, having to blindly cross two lanes of traffic and a turning lane. The hotel had a musty smell. The room was humid and smelled terrible. Not terribly clean. Breakfast was minimal but good. Staff was very friendly.

The tub in the room the paint was peeling . We were there four days the cleaners did not clean the room not once . I asked front desk to have the room clean they said we would be were on the list and still room was not cleaned. The kitchen staff at breakfast was very rude and had an attitude with simply the guest just moving around accommodating themselves. I will not return was an horrible experience. Rooms do not look like the photos .

We walked into our room and it smell like mold. Then killed a roach in the bathroom. We asked to be moved and this room smelled like mold as well. There was even mold all over one of the lower bathroom cabinets. Disgusting and I think I may have even had bed bug bites on me after the stay. Paid over $200 a night for these rooms. Unbelievable!!!

The property is dated. We stayed for an event at Georgia Southern University and all other hotels in the area were booked solid. The room had a wet towel smell. There was not a closet in the room or an iron to use. The breakfast provided: eggs, muffins, waffle maker with juices and coffee. The king size bed was comfortable. There is a 24 hr gas station with provisions directly in front of the hotel.

The hallway to our room was so hot, then we got to our king suite and it was hot. It was a bedroom seperated from the pullout couch. The AC unit was in the bedroom.The AC was set at 75, we knocked it down to 60 and it wasnt getting any cooler. We had to go buy a fan it was so hot. When we woke up, the air had only dropped to 66. It wasn't as hot, but still wasnt cool. Wemhen we left the hallway was still very hot.

Cons: Squeaky beds. Lumpy pillows. Poorly executed minor repairs (like bad paint jobs, caulking, etc). A lot of noise transfer. Only a half length closet. Pros: perfectly adequate breakfast. Friendly staff. Felt clean despite the room not feeling very nice

Our room was missing the couch. The AC was broken and due to getting in so late, we tried to sleep through the noise it kept making because we had to be up early - which we highly regret. We couldn't even sleep with pillows over our ears. There was no shampoo, no soap ans a half used bottle of conditioner (GROSS). There was dust and cobwebs everywhere. The TV had poor quality and was pixilated. I felt I completely got ripped off for what i paid for a King Suite. Would not recommend to anyone.

The staff was friendly and the hotel is clean. It is in need of a refresh. There are holes in the hallway carpet and room had a slight musty smell. The TV did not work, and the staff quickly moved us to a different room. Very nice at check in, accommodating when we had the TV problem, and nice at check out.

Room was in pretty bad shape. The bathroom ceiling had apparently fell down and even though the sheetrock had been replaced, it was not finished, and not painted. Just ugly. Never figured out the air conditioner. It was old, and some of the buttons didn't light up properly so it was difficult to operate. No matter how low the thermostat was set or what buttons were pushed, it did the same thing. It worked and the room would get cool, but then it would turn off and never come back on. We had to keep getting up when the room got too hot and turn it back on. The T.V. wasn't working when we first got to the room, but someone from the front desk came and fixed it, the remote left in the room was not the correct one. You can clearly hear everything going on in the hall outside the room. Could hear a lot of yelling, cursing, and running down the hall throughout the night. And there appeared to be a homeless person sitting on the bench outside when we were walking to our car. I guess I expected better.

Never figured out the air conditioner. It was old, and some of the buttons didn't light up properly so it was difficult to operate. No matter how low the thermostat was set or what buttons were pushed, it did the same thing. It worked and the room would get cool, but then it would turn off and never come back on. We had to keep getting up when the room got too hot and turn it back on. The T.V. wasn't working when we first got to the room, but someone from the front desk came and fixed it, the remote left in the room was not the correct one. You can clearly hear everything going on in the hall outside the room. Could hear a lot of yelling, cursing, and running down the hall throughout the night. And there appeared to be a homeless person sitting on the bench outside when we were walking to our car. I guess I expected better.

Had a great experience at this Comfort Inn. The staff there are top notch. The most helpful folks I have ever dealt with at a hotel. Will definitely stay again.

The elevator was broken so we had to walk up with luggage to the room. I have a disability and there was no help offered. The hallway carpet is threadbare and the stairwells are filthy. If we have to use them, clean them.

AC worked great, lady doing breakfast very rude, desk staff great at check in only, pool was closed unfortunately. I would highly reccomend some more breakfast options. One of the pillows on the bed was hard and lumpy, need to replace.

The tub in the room the paint was peeling . We were there four days the cleaners did not clean the room not once . I asked front desk to have the room clean they said we would be were on the list and still room was not cleaned. The kitchen staff at breakfast was very rude and had an attitude with simply the guest just moving around accommodating themselves. I will not return was an horrible experience. Rooms do not look like the photos .

The turn to get into the hotel was deadly, having to blindly cross two lanes of traffic and a turning lane. The hotel had a musty smell. The room was humid and smelled terrible. Not terribly clean. Breakfast was minimal but good. Staff was very friendly.

Staff was friendly and helpful; property was in good condition and our room was comfortable. Location was perfect for our stay. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 for cleanliness, was because the coffee maker in our room was left uncleaned (used filter still in machine from previous guest). If needed, I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is really dated and the second building is scary. I had my daughters with me and only selected the hotel because it said it was really close to GA Southern. We were only there for 1 night, so we toughed it out. It was definitely underwhelming and we won't be back. Just an fyi SpringHill is across the street.

The room smelled like urine. The armchair was very dirty. I had to cover the armchair with bath towels. The shower was also dirty, especially the bottom of the glass door. Breakfast was not good. They serve very bad and the same kinds of sausages and eggs every day.

This hotel is very basic, but clean and friendly. It is a little pricey in my opinion and the breakfast is sub par at best, the only edible thing really was the waffle's from the waffle maker. Overall I would stay again.

Overall, a good stay. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the shower was nice and spacious. For the most part, the rooms were clean. There were dirty spots in corners and crevices. The staff was very friendly. The free breakfast was OK. Could’ve used a few more options such as bagels and maybe scrambled eggs and bacon. I would stay here again.

The hotel is dated, but at least somewhat rennovated. Shower was really nice, room was ok but our room had an unslightly "repair" on the wall from the door blasting a big hole in the wall from the handle. The breakfast was good! Coffee was good.

Very nice,clean, and safe. I was suprised how quickly it filled up. I enjoyed the breakfast,friendly helpful staff. I even sat around talking to fellow guest for awhile after I ate. It was very welcoming

Most of the hotels in this town are old properties. This is slightly better of the lot with cleaner rooms and good breakfast. Some spotty areas look old and smelly, but nothing that inconveniences you. Breakfast was very good and the staff is very nice and helpful. Overall, the stay was comfortable.

Just fine for you basic no frills hotel. The first room had a broken shower, but they quickly moved us to another option. The pool was still closed for the year in June. Overall, it looks like it is getting a nice refresh - fresh paint and other touchups.

AC didn’t work well. Rooms felt musty. The pool is tiny and the “fitness center” is just a small room with ONE multipurpose exercise machine. This should be a $60 a night hotel.

Do not be fooled by photo, pool is tiny and even though it’s after Memorial Day, not open for use. My handicapped room would definitely not be AFA compliant. It’s a regular tub and chair for bathing doesn’t fit in the tub. Bed is mattress with no boxspring or real support. No WiFi available on TV. Numerous other small details that are annoying for an extended stay. Not worth the hefty price.
